New Japanese trailer seems to have leaked the last two party members' names. Ophelia and Cyrus.
Neat, the description of the official guide also implied that the game will have party skits like the Bravely-Series or the Tales-Series have them.

Our party is complete! And as it turns out, you can follow any of the stories at any time, so it's possible to finish all of them on one file.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectTehehe, after it was clear that Cyrus' path action would be the rouge option to Alfyn's some people theorized it would be some edgy mind reading or anything, turns out he just awkwardly stares at people
After this trailer, the only thing I'm still curious about is whether or not there will be some form of party interaction.
Seriously though, July can't come soon enough.
Statera est clavemSo Cyrus's action is judging you?
He Sherlock Scans you.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectGuide seems mechanically identical to Charm?
I have a message from another time...Despite the first being shown Olberic is the second O. Also methinks Ophilia is for kids/teens whereas Primrose is for old people.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. There seem to be two sets of four basic abilities. One set is 'Noble' while the other set is 'Rogue' . For example, the Merchant can buy items from others (but it costs money), while the Thief can steal them, but failing will affect your reputation and effectiveness at doing so. So Primrose's Charm and Ophelia's Guide are two sides of the same coin.

Sorry for the double post, but a there's a new trailer summarizing each story, and announcing a second demo (!) coming on the 14th.
You will be able to play the prologue of every character and the save game can be carried over to the full game.
The new demo has three limits: First, there isn't much available outside of the starting regions. Second, you're limited on how far you can go in each character's story. Finally, the demo ends when your save file hits 3:00:00.
Also, they're about to do a Treehouse Live segment on the game.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownSo finished my 3 hours yesterday.
Went Alfyn >Primrose>Olberic>Tressa
My thoughts so far:
- Alfyn is a well rounded character but most of his appeal comes from his Concoction talent, which allows him to hit all kind of elemental weaknesses while applying status effects and throwing around AOE Healing /MP-Reg.
- Apothecary's active skills are kinda underwhelming in the early game due to a lack of AOE and there is no need for strong single target healing when Alfyn can just throw a comparable Heal on the whole party with Concoction. It's first support skill is incredibly valuable though as it causes your basic attacks to regenerate MP equal to 1% of the damage done( rounded up so 101 damage will give you 2 MP)
- Fujos gonna have a field day with Alfyn's prologue.
- Primrose is pretty much as she is in the demo, though the turban guy from the first demo got nerfed and other strong NPC's do have a really low chance for seduction.
- The Dancer class has a skill which costs a hefty 25 MP but causes random stuff to happen with the effects raging from hilariously OP (EXP x2), pretty decent (restore MP for everyone, Attack up for everyone) to self-destructive (set MP to 0). Boosting it causes it to trigger multiple times, which due to its massive MP cost is advisable. I nicknamed it the Metronome Shuffle.
- Olberic's Thousand Spears move isn't nearly as good as it sounded because it misses like 70% of its hits.
- Couldn't test much with Tressa but Merchant has interesting skills that let them transfer BP and regenerate MP/HP which will make it a neat sub job for everyone I guess.
Downloading now. I've got exams, so I might wait a few days until playing the demo.
I wonder if there will be linked characters. Like get Dancer to so and so area before being able to continue with Apothecary.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobYou can start recruiting the other characters the moment you leave the city after you finish the prologue.
Considering that the Chapter 2's have a recommended level of 25 and the fights in the prologues scale with the count of characters you recruit, it appears that it is intended that you play each prologue before you continue to Chapter 2.

So the way you recruit other player characters feels inorganic and cut and paste, which is unfortunate.
Alfyn's voice doesn't match up with the Southern-Fried Genius angle they're going for in the dub, either.
Otherwise, I'm down with it so far. The 3 hour limit's pretty harsh - I'm an hour in and I know there's a ton of content in the demo I'll never see.
I can forgive them for not having unique recruitments. There's way too many possible party configurations (40,320) in regards to joining order.
Anyway, played through Tressa. She's incredibly cute.
Also, Therion's Steal is pretty broken. Save scum to succeed at a 3% chance and you can get at least one Disc-One Nuke found so far, a Golden Axe with over 260 attack.

Where is this Golden Axe? I've played Therion, and noticed when you get to another characters' starting villlage, all the NP Cs have stuff to steal for that character.
I wish I had more time to really explore Ha'amit's beast lore, since it lets her account for pretty much any contingency if she's set up with the right roster. I'm glad to see the somewhat underbaked Tamer from FFV be full realized in this.
Alfyn's town. Knock out the granddaughter with H'aanit and you'll be able to get into the house with the grandfather, who has it.
got alfyn, tressa, and primrose before my demo time ended. probably keeping this party, just need to pick a 4th. really love the take on Chemist alfyn is, and tressa helps me keep stocked on sweet sweet drug supplies. Prim is just great for battle and allure support and being my only team member with an actual plot right now lol
