I'm not interested in politics. It's just something I don't care for. It tends to cause fiery, explosive arguments at the drop of a hat, and I'm a person who prefers to just stay out of any sort of conflict and away from any toxicity, because I think that NOT getting involved in big flaming arguments is the smartest option, because flaming, angry arguments do not benefit anyone, and in the end, everyone loses. I tend to find that political debates/arguments can VERY easily get way too toxic and heated and it starts giving me really negative vibes inside just from reading one or two sentences. I'm also just not that interested in politics in general.

I don't like polotics. I prefer not getting yelled at by eight different people who undoubtefly don't actually share the same ideology. It's quite honestly one of the most irritating topics in existance.

I don't like politics. I'm neither left wing or right wing.

I'm chicken-wing. Because I LOVE chicken wings, and I don't care about politics, just pass me the chicken wings!

I used to be very conservative politically, and I might be considered a conservative by this site's standards, but lately I've found myself caring a lot less about politics and becoming more apolitical.

Politics is important, but it's gotten to the point where it no longer worth engaging in due to the environment and I've clashed with people on both sides. Of course I've clashed with the left for obvious reasons, but I've also gotten in heated arguments with conservatives for pointing out something I thought was wrong or not following orthodoxy. I'm all about finding the truth and correct misunderstandings and intentional lies, regardless of where it comes from on the spectrum.

I think I held people I politically disagreed with with utter contempt; and I have to remind myself that we are all people.

I feel a lot better now that I've backed away from politics.

So it's been said that there is no truly Apolitical work of art (ie, movies, music, etc). Is there a work that you can point to and say that it truly is Apolitical?

Sorry for the bumping.

From what I understand about politics in works, a good political work would let you think and draw your own conclusions whereas a bad one forces it on you, more or less propaganda at the cost of a narrative. That said, sometimes people can be too over analytical on media and need to relax.

With some reflecting, I consider myself a right-Libertarian, though I don't feel like there's an option I can vote for, since the last election there was only Conservative, Liberal, Green, and the NDP as the only options. Also why is it such a self-fulfilling prophecy that a 3rd party can't down down in the States?
