*Tilly opts to yell out something as a neutral party* So you're this PJ, right? They've talked about you quite a bit, actually.

PJ: "They're fine? That's great, takes a load off my mind, but it's no thanks to me of course. Look, I dunno why you people are even bothering with me, I've been a liability since Hoard. Hell, maybe even before that. Let's be real, most of you guys would benefit from not having me around."

Andy looks confused. Fuck's that supposed to mean?

Liability? Liability? Liability?? PJ, you aren't a liability to any one of us. Look, dude, Hoard fucked all of us up, but can't you ever learn to just put that behind you and look more to the future? ....Sorry if I rambled there. Point is, we need you, dude.

(I say to PJ.)

(Marsha and Benji simply stay quiet to see what PJ says next after this. Dinah remains silent as well, but only because of how profoundly confused she is.)

...it means this body I landed in has other plans... *Jani states bluntly, though adding* ...at least if Triss it to believed... *then taking a longer swig, she adds* ...and to be honest, I don't think she was lying...for once. Fucking two-faced politicians... At least she probably believes what she's saying.

*turning to Andy, with a sigh* I'm stuck with those two... *and then the blubbering starts once more* ...and soon I'll be stuck to them...a three headed fucking monstrosity with every last shred of individuality sucked out of me in the process...

*Tilly doesn't know what to add, either. While she got some bits and pieces of the Hoard encounter from Jani, she figures "too many cooks" applies here*

(I finish my drink and made my way to the barkeep. I whispered.) _{So, what kind of info do you have?} (He likely knew about my job and potentially my past before I got to this world. I just hoped he wouldn't spill the beans.)

*I emerge from my hiding spot. If we're doing this, there's no reason for me not to show my face.*

PJ: "Okay, first, don't fucking tell me to get over something when it hasn't even been three days since it ended. Put the goddamn timeframe of all this into perspective before you yell at me, asshole. And second? Name one time I actually did something that benefited the group since we've been traveling together. Turning on Belladonna doesn't count, and neither does turning Finley back, since both of those were undone like five seconds later."

   (Boy howdy am I feeling the love right now. And this is one of the guys who killed Belladonna?)   

Andy raised his arms. Then go about your life! Just go! If the follow you, that's their stupid mistake. You don't deserve to be harassed by them!

(I put my head into my hands and whisper to Marsha:)

Please, Marsha. Hold me back.

(Marsha puts a hand on Marlon's shoulder, continuing to not say a word.)

(As restrained as I can make myself, I take a deep breath and fly into a tangent:)

Asshole? You wanna call me an asshole? You're the asshole for continuing to turn as away even after we saved your ass. And you can't even thank us for killing that psycho bitch? And you know, sure you think you haven't done much. But we still care for you! Sure, I didn't get to know you well at all until all of it happened, but you know what? You were always such a positive influence on everyone. Everyone told me so, and that's what I'm inclined to believe. Don't turn away from your only friends in this world, PJ. Please...

(I bury my face in Marsha's shoulder after expelling this, muttering:)

...and therein lies the trap. *Jani laments to Andy, not even looking at him* Say I ditch the sausages, but Triss was right all along...weeks pass, aaaaaaaaall hunky dory, and then everyone notices my mind start to go. Little by little I forget shtuff, names...faces. Only, they never come back...I forget stuff I learned in either world. I forget who I am...hell, I forget how to even dig...then what'll I do? Go back to Agartha? Another couple'a weeks I bet, find those two in worse shape than me. By the time we merge, we're a hollow bundle of sticks who need to be fed through a tube...

...and even if she was full of it, I'd still question everything I do. Every little mistake I'd blow out of proportion..."oh, it's starting, little demented Jani must be losing her mind." *she mock-raises her glass with a dirt tendril before stating* Check-and-fucking mate, Mayor Tremaine... *before downing the remnants. She then just leans on the counter in tears, weakly saying* ...another...

*Teller whispers to Grigori* Mostly info pertaining to the island. Those of your line of work, however...let's just say I maintain an unspoken sort of confidentiality agreement, heh. To do otherwise would be bad for business, not to mention my neck.

*Tilly is simply watching things unfold with PJ at this point*

What if you started writing down what you knew?

*as Teller sets down vodka #3 and Jani unsteadily pays for it, Jani simply states* ...dementia's not that simple... *she then contemplates her glass for a bit, opting not to take another sip at this time* Ever see a brain scan of someone with Alzheimers? Looks like North Korea's electrical grid...and when they do autopsies o'em...like a shriveled up raisin. *she then looks at Andy to add* I don't care how magical this world is — people're hurt, people're scarred, their bodies irreverbisly break down, and then they die.

*Teller then whispers back to Grigori* Depends on what you're seeking. I only know what folks are actively thinking, after all, so you'll have to clue me in.

Andy sighs. Well then maybe... maybe you should just go to a mental hospital. I'm pretty sure there's a mental wing back in Silversand Hospital. Have them take a look a you, and... if the need be, take care of you.

*and bringing the discussion full circle, Jani smirks* I'd rather have three heads.

*she then sighs, uses a dirt-tendril to lift her glass...it's a little unsteady, to the point a little even spills on her* Uh...whoopsie! *she says with a smirk, then adds, taking it midway to Andy to propose...* A toast...to the shtuff we can't change, and the crappy hands life deals us...

Andy offers up a scotch in hand. A toast.

(Aaand I fucked everything. Great, good, that's good, I'm doing a good job.)

*At this point, I just feel like flopping down on the ground. I had my outburst, I have no rebuttal, I'm just done.*

PJ: "Haven't... haven't I already thanked you? Wasn't that like, this morning? Dude, I'm grateful for what you did there, but like, you're not really convincing me why I should... Whatever, if you're gonna take me back, take me back."

*I lie down in surrender. He or anyone else can carry me back to Agartha or wherever it is that they're staying, I don't care. I've got apologies to make to the others for abandoning them again anyhow.*

(I lift my head off of Marsha's shoulder to see that PJ has pretty much given up. I carefully approach him, and pick him up:)

(I walk back over to Marsha, and ask:)

You wanna just let him sit on your head for a while?
