ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

"Hm?" Finley looks over to Mila before standing up. "Sure, what did you have in mind?"

Before she can leave, however, she looks at Eliot. "Don't worry too much about this, okay? We'll find a solution."

I suppose so. Maybe I could find another glove or something.

(I say.)

"Well, I was thinking that with all the fighting going on, this would be a good time for us to train at least. Not fighting anyone else, but learning some moves in case worst comes to worst again."

Mila leaves out the bit where she felt useless against Jillian because of her typing, but almost accidentally runs into a sudden Noivern due to a lack of attention to where she's going.

"Oh— whoops! Sorry about that... Ripley?"

Yeah...I'm sure either Delilah and I will find something as well. (I say.) Let's keep looking!

(Delilah and I begin walking ahead.)

Ripley raised a brow at the human-Pokemon at the table, talking to each other as though she wasn't even there. Was she really that inconspicuous? It wasn't as though she was several times their size... though she couldn't help but be cheered up at the implications. It meant she wasn't completely far gone.

But... with that knowledge, came her habit of poking her nose into things. It was almost a compulsion, perhaps an unhealthy one, to want to know everything that was going on in the city... but at this time, any problem would be welcome. Might as well take down all the problems in one go.

As she was busy brushing the bottom of her chin, she felt a sudden weight on her leg. It was the Raichu.

"Ah... no need to apologise to me, Raichu. We were both equally in a state of not-paying-attention. Could be fatal nowadays... actually, if you don't mind me desiring to satiate my unhealthy, neverending thirst for gossip, what's this problem you were discussing? As I understand it, you've dealt with some high-profile 'problems' in Silversand, so any problems now must be positively universe-ending, if you'll forgive the ambiguous, is-it-sarcasm-or-not wording."

(I too walk forward, not sure of what I want. However, not too far into my walk I see something that catches my eye-a scarf. On a white background I see the colors that I have present on my body-red and green. I inquire to the stand owner-a Furfrou.)

Cool scarf..how much is it?

2500 pokè, sir.

Really? Then I'm sold!

(I hand the poke over, and upon the Furfrou handing me the scarf I quickly put it on. I call to Goobert ahead.)

This scarf looks pretty nice!

Yeah, that looks great, Marlon! (I say as I come back to look at the scarf.) It suits you.

(Delilah begins looking at the Furfrou's wares herself.)

Yeah, it definitely does.

(I examine the scarf passively.)

Mila looks over to Ripley, then back to the others for a moment. She remembers their earlier discussion about the machinations at play in Hoard to deal with Merqury, but somehow she's still a bit afraid of letting her know too much about what they're dealing with. Then again, Ripley does have enough power to possibly deal with Bella, and they wouldn't have to worry about having to kill her if the Pawniarmy took care of things.

"Oh, it's just... an issue we're having with one of our friends. There's someone new he's been talking to who seems to have him wrapped around her finger, as it were. Also... she probably has VA. And might have been the cause of what happened in Milklett. We don't know what to do about her."

(The Furfrou looks to Delilah, then explains.)

All of these babies are 2500 pokè a pop.

Right, thank you. (Delilah says as she continues looking.)

(Eventually, Delilah picks up something that looks like a red one-piece swimsuit.)

This is a...peculiar outfit... (Delilah says.)

Hey, maybe something like that would suit you since you're a lifeguard. (I comment, the juxtaposition of the suit and Delilah reminding me of a cheesy TV show from back home.)

Seems impractical if you ask me. I think I've been getting along fine without one of these, anyway... (Delilah says, continuing to look through the clothes.) Hmm...

Saving lives type, huh? Where do you work?

(The Furfrou inquires.)

Oh, I'm a lifeguard back home in Silversand. I watch the public beach area in front of the boardwalk with my friend Marsha. (Delilah says. She lifts up the bright red swimsuit again, giving it another odd look. Just for the heck of it, she actually tries it on.)

I look ridiculous in this, don't I? (Delilah says after putting it on and turning to face us.)

(I try not to laugh at the sight of a Garchomp wearing a swimsuit.)

You certainly look much more like you could save lives at a moment's notice.

(I comment.)

You look perfectly fine in that!

(The Furfrou adds.)

(As silly as the sight looks on first glance, I do find myself agreeing with Marlon and the Furfrou. Delilah does look more like a lifesaver.)

I think they have a point, Del. (I say.) You actually look pretty good in that.

You really mean that? (Delilah asks.)

(I nod.)

Well...I guess I'll take it then. (Delilah says, handing 2500 Poké to the Furfrou.) Thank you.

(The Furfrou inquires.)

(I begin looking through the clothes. However, I don't really see anything that really jumps out at me or that I could wear. With how slimy I am, I'd probably ruin most clothes I attempt to put on. I decide to just stick with only wearing my glasses.)

Hmm...I can't really see anything that really jumps out at me. (I say, shrugging.) But thanks, anyway.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to really wear much if I were a Goodra. Those glasses are just fine, though.

(Taking into account this fact she smiles at us.)

Hm. Do you think Benji remembers where he found yours? That's probably where mine came from.

Hmm...you know, I don't remember if he specifically said where it came from. (I say, rubbing my chin.) It's probably around here somewhere, though. Maybe we'll come across it if we walk some more. Or we can just swing by the inn and ask Benji. Whichever sounds easier to you.
