Mila leaves Merqury's office rapidly, and waits for the others to congregate outside. On hearing the Noviern's request, she steps forwards as if to accept the offer.
"I suppose I could talk, unless you had someone else in mind. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you as well, if you have the chance."
What Merqury said about the fertilizer... that can't be right, can it? Fixing nitrogen takes a whole bunch of energy that's not easy to contain. If we meet Serris again, I have to ask him about that. Maybe he found an old human pressure tank?

"Well, it's really just one question— more of a request? Sorry, anyways, I was wondering if you'd heard of a Diglett by the name of Jani come around recently? Selling a cart? If you know where she is or where her shop is, we'd all appreciate it. She's... a wayward friend."

*Frightened by Merqury's outburst, I quickly dart out of the room, managing to squeeze out one last, "I apologize for wasting your time, sir!" Shaken, I turn to Ripley and/or whoever else is out here with us and try to say something.*
PJ: "So, uh... That could've gone better."
*Belladonna's expression sours as she thinks back to her hometown's fate, and she begins to break off eye contact with Jani.*
Belladonna: "Well, for your information... I'm from Milklett. I had just left my family home before the town fell to violence and degeneracy, and... even still, there's a vacancy in my heart that I find difficulty in filling. Everyone I've known since the first few years of my life, to think that they're gone..."
*Belladonna's voice begins to waver towards the end, and she takes a moment to breathe before continuing on. She's clearly distraught from just so much as thinking of her old home.*
Belladonna: "Look, are we quite done here? All you've served to do is distract and irritate me. May I be on my way at last, or would you rather continue ranting about these fake authors of yours?"
