Dana passes out, the Hail dissipating as she does.

Cyk begins sobbing. She hadn't prepared for this.

I have nothing to say. People are screaming, crying, fainting, and almost dying, and I have no reaction. Just blankly staring at the scene before me.

I motion to the officers.

"Our group arrived here after I felt the first visions of something going wrong with our friend. I perceived it as a very erratic, fluid situation. Again, I must re-iterate that I was not there in person. You see that Alolan Raichu/Unown? They may have seen the perpetrator get away."

*after assisting Kevin with completing the bandages, Voxno in Unown-V form◊ finally recounts to the officer*

I witnessed the creature running away. Unfortunately, my state of mind was not exactly...consistent, and I only spotted them from a distance. I can corroborate the fact that it was a cat, but any further speculation would be unreliable.

*meanwhile, the emergency services trio finally arrives. The Excadrill is the first to speak up*

We're the paramedics. *it says, bluntly to the officer* Let us through, that Diglett is in serious condition.

*the Blissey, meanwhile, checks on Dana but sees she'd only fainted, and uses Soft-Boiled on her while waiting to get past the blockade*

Finley eagerly grabs the handkerchief, rubbing her eyes. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry. This isn't about me, I know. We just have to be strong for her, right? We just have to be strong..."

Kevin notices the Blastoise.

"Dad! We need some help here!"

The Sergeant raises a brow with great skepticism once the Gallade began talking about 'visions', but opts not to dig further into that for now. If he was withholding anything, it'd likely make itself clear after some contradicting testimony came up; which didn't seem to be the case, as they also caught Voxno more-or-less reinforcing the Gallade's testimony.

"I see. Thank you. I'd recommend clearing the area; it seems the paramedics have arrived."

The Electivire soon made his way over to the aforementioned Alolan Raichu, but not before addressing one of his officers manning the barricades. "Let 'em through, they're legit. I recognise 'em from the last accident. Poor Spoink..."

(I wake up.)

Someone please tell me that this was just a bad dream...

(But of course, it wasn't. I still see paramedics swarming all over the place, the others freaking out in different ways, and a large crowd gathered nearby outside of a barricade. I even see the lifeguards Marsha and Delilah among the shocked crowd of Pokémon.)

(I groan. This day sure went downhill and fast...)

[I look around...hey, back there, there's...shit, who... His name, started with an "n", it... I walk up to the little guy.] "Hey," [I say to the Cyndaquil...I fumble for his name...] "...Nyquil? Right, it was..." [Looking back at the scene, it's...starting to overwhelm me... My tail droops onto the ground...]

Cyk hugs Goobert, or at least tries. "She'll be okay, I hope", she says, anxiously.

*being waved through, the Excadrill digs underground to be able to check the Diglett's vitals. it then surfaces* Heart rate is a bit low for a Diglett, but consistent.

*the Blissey redresses the wounds with her kit, and uses a Soft-Boiled to speed up Jani's natural healing a little* Wounds stabilized! It should be safe to move her.

*meanwhile, the Blastoise notices the fire on the second story apartment, and sprays it with his cannons. It goes out quickly, due to it being from a candle left lit in a closed room in an empty house* Fire suppressed! I don't see evidence of any others.

Kevin motions to his dad.

"This Diglett has a massive bite wound, but thanks to Blissey we should be able to move her."

I snap out of my blank trance. "Muh…?" I grunt back to Eliot.

"Yes", Noriaki responded, nodding to Finley, "The medics seem to have this under control, don't worry yourself too much."

"Your...your name..."

[I look back over at Jani...they got paramedics taking care of her...that, that's good...] "...so you...you know what happened? I just...kinda heard...I, I guess it was an earthquake, then I came and I saw...I, I saw Jani, like...she was...she was...bleeding and I..."

[I let it out. I cry.]

"Eliot! She'll be okay.", I say, trying to reassure him.

I remained silent for a moment to register the events myself. "… She was attacked by someone. I dunno who." My voice was hollow.

I turn to reassure everyone else who had been shocked at the sights.

"She'll be okay guys. She's small, but I know she can fight."

[In between my sobbing gasps, I try to say something to Marlon, but...I can't think straight, I just sputter out malformed babblings as I approach him and collapse onto his chest, holding onto him as I continue to cry.]

*the Excadrill digs in from behind Jani, and its claws pop out as Jani seemingly starts moving on her own. the Excadrill is essentially a one-man stretcher, leading Jani toward the hospital*

*the Blissey helps "steer" Jani while the Excadrill moves her along, reassuring the onlookers* The hospital isn't far from here. We'll do everything we can!

*the Blastoise on the other hand stays behind, to commend his son*

Kevin! It's great to see you. That bandage work you managed was rather impressive. If you had not been here, who knows what condition that poor girl would have been in.

Kevin turns to his dad and smiles.

"Thanks, dad! The training is really paying off!"

I think I should get out of the way... ( I say. I uneasily get up and head towards the barricade.)
