Upon managing to corral everyone in from going anywhere else I attempt to mass ping everyone in the group to cue them in on our plan. Unless Niles can somehow manage to hack into a ping, he will not hear any of this. For those otherwise who never received a ping from me their bodies will likely adjust as such.

Ok, we need four groups; one to go in the front, one in the back, one around the sides, and the last in the air. We'll likely set some form of diversion in the form of a Rain Dance and then set in. I'll lead the side group, and we'll need people to lead the front and back groups.

Mila moves to help feed Niles with the food Notte has gathered, but she stops when she sees the glowing by his paw. She can't tell whether it's by his own design or not, so she approaches him cautiously with a paw held out in an attempted gesture of peace.

"Niles, are you okay there?"

Autumn simply watches, silent, as the group returns and Mila tries to care for the Quilava. She doesn't much care for the other preparations and tries to tune out the psychic message when it gets sent. When she sees Whitney, however, she remembers that she's still not had a chance to talk to her about her... eagerness to fight.

"Whitney, can you come over here?"

Meanwhile, a second ping shoots over to the group after the first.

Ain't nobody taught ya psychic manners? Ah can contact everyone now, an' ah'm sure they jus' wanna finish eatin'.

"Hm?" Whitney says, returning and immediately being greeted by Autumn. Shame, she wanted to ask Nyquil a few personal things, but that can wait! Not like he's going anyway.

She trots over to Autumn, feeling pretty good regardless. "What's up, need something?" Regardless of her good mood though, she can't help but feel a little bit of dread. Why, though?

Before he can try to manipulate the energy, his focus is interrupted by Mila. The glow fades away and he looks back up at her.    ”My condition has not changed since you last asked me.”

I offer a rebuttal over the psychic channel to Koss only, but everyone (not Niles) probably would be able to listen.

Oh, come on Koss, if you had someone with the capability of killing you sitting within five feet of you, wouldn't you not want your thoughts to be spoken out loud? And not only that, most everyone already seems to be largely done with their meal. Sorry about what I just said, actually, so many things about these last few days have me kind of on edge at the moment..

I then turn my focus over towards everyone (obviously not Niles) again with the ping.

Anyway, we should try to get ourselves gathered up as soon as possible.

One of the two boys, Tommy, approaches Niles and those trying to feed him and offers his aid-granted, he clearly does not know the dynamic that existed prior to this and if he gets turned down he wouldn't attempt to pry much further.

Shall-Shall I provide any assistance? Mother wasn't exactly inclined in wanting to serve him, you know...

Having finished his daily duties, Jeffrey the Lurantis is now sitting in the family living room.

Sure hope those kids have gotten closer to finding whoever killed Miss Izabel..

Noriaki finishes his pancakes, while Montresor and Notte are just about done themselves.

"These pancakes are rather good, but...", Montresor mumbles to himself.

"There is a certain fluffiness that pancakes have the potential for. Perhaps next time we can show you all, we had become proficient in such a feat. Not to belittle our hosts, not at all, these are still well-made pancakes", said Notte.

Just a minute, Montresor responded in mind to Marlon, We will be prepared to embark shortly.

"No, that will not be necessary, thank you", Noriaki quickly said as Tommy approached, "It is for the best that we take care of him for now."

Huh... (Marsha remarks to Notte.) Well, I'll take your word for it. ("Hope it's not poisoned or made to brainwash us or anythin'..." Marsha thinks. She mentally kicks herself for thinking that. Does she still not trust these two all the way yet?)

(Meanwhile, it's now that Gene notices the Spirit Shackle around Niles beginning to weaken and wear off.) Erm... (He moves to tap Grigori on the shoulder.)

(Pancho and Maria are sitting around the dining room table. Pancho snorts and frowns. Maria sighs and melts into her Alakazam form again.)

(In response to the Infernape's prodding. I turned around to see the Shackles on Niles fading. Just as soon as I saw it, they immediately return to their original strength. A thought came to mind: if I pay attention to him, or rather, the Shackles, then they won't fade away. Guess I'll have to give the little guy as much attention as possible. Like a puppy that has little emotion and wants to burn you alive.)

(In response to Marlon's plan, Arsene felt as though it felt like a repeat of Narcia, but on a larger scale. Regardless, the plan seems solid, what with the knowledge of the castle being limited to the two turncoats and the little weasel. He sent a thought back to the Gallade.) Any idea on who's on what team?

Tom himself pays a decent amount of heed to what Notte says...after all, the Bisharp does seem to perhaps know a thing or two about food after all.

Huh...well, if you ever come back around I sure as hell would like to have someone better than I aid our family in making these pancakes better.

Meanwhile, Tommy takes the obvious dejection calmly.

Very well, then. Be careful.

That...I dunno yet. I want to lead the group that goes around the sides and presumably Hector and Achilles take the air route. We need two more group leaders and then to put everyone to one of the four groups. Any idea on perhaps how to sort everyone out? Perhaps take anyone who wants to avoid as much confrontation as possible come with me on the side route?

I guess the three of us will have to determine which of us goes where, too. (Cole says, looking over to Gene and Dodie.)

(The Trevenant is still staring and squinting at us, especially Mia, Tiff, and Tiago, looking as if they're seriously struggling to remember something.)

   I-...I-...you all have the same faces that I drew for them...    (She mumbles to Tiago, putting her hands against her head and closing her eye tightly.)

(Mia picks up the paper and looks at it. Rich and I double-check again as well. The drawings are crude, but they are clearly of the Dos Santos family. All of them seem to be there except...)

Is it...is it really possible...? (I hear Mia mutter. I can tell that the wheels seem to be turning in her head. Then, without any warning, she suddenly grabs the tea kettle off the table and pitches it in the Trevenant's direction.) Pensarápido!

Hey!! (The Amoongguss shouts.)

(For a moment, the image of this same Machamp playfully throwing a particularly large Watmel berry in her direction while quickly saying this same thing enters the Trevenant's mind. She gasps and instinctively throws her arms up in front of her face.)

(Just before the tea kettle hits her, the Trevenant's eye flashes pink and snaps shut with a cry of:) Congelamento psíquico!! (The tea kettle (and the tea starting to spill out of it) suddenly freezes in mid-air, surrounded by psychic, pink energy. The kettle then drops to the ground with a clang.)

(Mia stands there silent for a moment as Rich and I turn to look at her, confused.) That's exactly what Izzy would do whenever I used to toss things to her... (She whispers.)

(My eyes widen in realization as I turn back to the Trevenant.) ...No way...

(Before I know it, Mia has run over to the Trevenant and pulled her into a four-armed hug, tears running down her face.) Izzy...!!

(The Machamp's sudden hug startles the Trevenant and confuses her...but at the same time, it seems very familiar. Didn't her sister hug her like this all the time? ...Her sister? The realization sinks in and she looks down at the Machamp hugging her. Yes! Her sister!)

(I notice the Trevenant...I mean, Izabel's eye looking at Mia in shock for a moment before slowly closing as she returns the hug.) N-...Noémia...minha irmã... (I hear her mutter, beginning to sob.)

Won't they be busy, though? (Maria asks.)

Eh, it's still early enough that they might still be at Pappa's. You know how slow Tiff tends to eat. (Pancho mutters, standing up.) Besides, both of us are done with our morning chores, anyway. Let's see if they're still there.

Alright. (Maria says, also standing up.)

Wait, what? She just wants to go out of my sight even for just a while-

Wait, you know what? Ever since she's really traveled with us, without Goobert and such, she's changed. I think she might just hold her own.

Yeah, I think you'll do great, Marsh..

After this, I look around again to see if someone would speak up over the psychic channel to designate themselves as leading one of the other two possible groups.

Tiff runs over just as fast to bring herself to hug her sister once more, despite seeming very skeptical that this Trevenant is in fact her sister at first

"No, not that, your paw— just here, please eat."

Mila doesn't push things further, and instead brings a berry to Niles' mouth to speed things up. She's a bit shocked when the chains come back in force, but she tries not to let it bother her since she still needs to get sustenance for Niles and herself. Koss on the other hand seems to have finished eating, and merely shrugs at Marlon's psychic rebuttal. It's likely not worth discussing the finer points of psychic communication at a time like this, he figures. Instead, he moves over towards Eliot and Woodruff to talk to them and sort out that issue and to give Autumn space to talk to Whitney.

"Feelin' any better wit' food in ya now?"

Autumn tries to think of how to word what she's about to say as Whitney comes over. The Growlithe was told of some of her sorrows so far, but everything has been going so poorly for Autumn today whenever she tried to find some nonagressive way of dealing with all of the day's events. Whatever, she was still waiting and it wouldn't help anything to stay silent.

"It's just... can we talk about what just happened? You know I'm... against fighting. Niles is, well, important to me and Mila. Even if he's like this now, we have to be kind to him, alright? We can't just be gung-ho about fighting."

"... Oh no."

Whitney seems pretty decently upset.

"No, when I shot that flame at him, I didn't do it to hurt him, I just wanted to stop him!" She exclaims, trying desperately to explain herself. "When he was... running away, I mean."

She sighs. "I'm sorry about what I said when this kicked off. I was just getting riled up. I didn't mean it. I understand just how much he means to you, I just..."

"I'm sorry. I just get lost in the moment sometimes."

He stares at the berry for a bit. Before he could lean forward to bite it, he’s interrupted by the feeling of his bindings being reinforced, causing him to inwardly curse for losing his chance at escape. With no other options at the moment, he bites into the berry and chews silently.

Y'know, Gene's the brains 'tween the three of us. (Dodie says.) Maybe he could lead one of our groups?

Dodie, I do not know very much about what we are dealing with, so I should not be a leader. (Gene says.) Besides, it would make far more sense for Noriaki or one of his accomplices to lead the other groups, wouldn't it?

   Yeah!   , I agreed with Gene.

   I think that at least half of this group doesn't shit about the routes that lead to L'Arry's manor, so having Morì or one of his comrades lead the other groups would be clever!   "

I think I can go on my own to attack from the side, create a diversion until some of you show up. , Hector said through the psychic link.

I'm still pretty confident in leading the aerial raid, we shouldn't need to many mons there with me and Rainmaker , Achilles reinstated.

I would prefer to stay in the frontal vanguard, but if need be I could also join the attack from above, Montresor offered.

I intend to lead the vanguard, Noriaki thought in to the psychic link, I pray that prior knowledge will have me be able to see through L'Arachel's tricks, as will the power of the Spirit World guide me to evade whatever she has set for us.

I'm coming in through the back, it's the best place for me to attack from, I've learned , Gerome stated.

I really could go anywhere, but I'm leaning more towards the sides or the back myself, Nephenee announced.

The front lines have always been my place in such a scenario, and those halls have been perfectly memorized in my mind, Notte alerted.

"Well, besides today's further plans", said Noriaki, standing up, "There is the issue now of what we should do with Nyquil before we embark. There are methods I can attempt to purge the hex from him with, but they pose some risk. If we can get Hikari to tend to his condition, that would be the absolute safest and most potent method, but that would be much further ahead and during our raid of L'Arachel's abode, so that in it's own right would pose a great risk for us."

Mila continues to bring berries up to Niles' mouth, waiting for him to finish chewing the previous one before offering another. It feels almost like feeding a toddler. Except this toddler is an adult with no ability to move his limbs and apparently a vendetta against them.

"I see... did I ever tell you why I chose to stop fighting?"

Autumn leans over and puts one of her paws on Whitney's shoulders. If she'd still stuck to her own pacifism after getting the Growlithe's old memories, maybe the explanation would be enough for her too. It was the best thing she could come up with, anyways.

" I didn't ever want to hurt people, but I was playing with a friend one day; one mistake and I nearly... look, I know you want to help but without being careful you'll just cause pain."

Autumn pauses, not sure what she should do after this. She's so afraid that it'll cause something awful. Why did she have to say something? Why couldn't she leave well enough alone? Was she still just causing pain with this now? No, she had to look sure of herself, had to keep some confidence if she wanted Whitney to believe her.

He ends up eating most of the berry, which actually improves his physical condition a little. He supposed that was to be expected with how certain foods affected people in this world… or it could be his own metabolism. He wasn’t entirely sure. However, he figures that trying to act on an empty stomach would not yield any better results than having food now, so he continues to eat and only stops when he finishes the berry.

"... I'm really sorry."

Whitney already knew well enough that she was a pain, but the idea of being a hindrance too was too much. She didn't feel any tears coming, but she still didn't feel tip-top either.

She listens closely to Autumn's speech, half wondering if maybe that was her own experience at one point. Well, not that that actually matters.

"I think I understand, yeah." She said, even though odds were she won't be remembering any of this. "I'm sorry again."

"Do you want more? There's still some here"

Mila isn't sure how freely he'll be able to respond, but she doesn't want to force him to eat if he isn't hungry still. Who knows how much L'arachel was feeding him. She was feeding him, right?

"So... what do we do now?"

Autumn realizes all too acutely she had no plan for this. What the hell was she even doing here? What made her think it was the right thing to do to bring this up? Who benefited from all of this? Niles was already hurt. And she had to speak up, for what? To piss off everyone around her?

"I'm sorry, I don't know what I'm even saying. Why did I bring it up?"

He simply nods. Assuming that Mila continues to provide, assume that he automatically eats.

"...?"

That's weird.

"Is everything alright? I didn't mess up that bad, did I?"

She thinks for a bit, before responding. "I... I don't really know what to do now. Do we have a plan for that guy?" She asks, pointing a paw over to Nyquil.
