Notte closes the door once everyone has entered.

L'Arachel just gives a posh wave and greets Gomer, "Hello there, you are a rather cute specimen. I believe Phoebe mentioned you to me as well previously, but I am not entirely sure."

L'Arachel does take note of Georgés's silence, but decides not to prod.

At this point, Zelgius has come back in.

"Don't mind me", he said, "Just another assistant for the lady here."

Marlon, edge of town

Yeah, Marsh...I'll be fine.

I say, standing as upright as I can get.

So where are we going? Any idea yet?

I look in the direction of Ludovic's men and towards Autumn to see what we may do next.

Medics

Every Medic finishes their work, with the other Luxio handing Benji two rolls of the bandages, and Stanton looking over Goobert's face.

Well, all things considered...if you guys stay at the palace tonight you'll more than likely be seeing the doctor there anyway. What we did was at least a stopgap and to also make sure no significant damage happened.

Stoutland's Shop, Triage

*once the face is bandaged (using a slightly loose vertical wraparound so as not to severely impair speech) Tilly gets right to replacing the crude stomach dressing* Fortunately there were no complications here... *though she's more relieved that her previous work wasn't botched up. She makes haste in wrapping a bandage around, and then tells Goobert*

Finished...forgive my haste, but I believe the Princess wishes to take us to the barracks...

Outside Stoutland Shop

*Lucy's words snaps her out of it, but Lilly hesitates just for a little longer. She doesn't know where that burst of euphoria came from...maybe a moment of temporary insanity, or the influence of a VA powerhouse being in the area. Regardless, it's gone...and she doesn't want to completely lose it in front of Lucy*

*so for now, she puts on a smile...*

*which fades again* Sorry...guess y'kinda caught me off guard... *she never really could hold a facade very long. She tries to think of how to word her feelings*

I guess...when folks get older, they start realizin' things...they have t'deal with things they used t'be protected from when they were kids... *Lilly says with a somewhat solemn expression, and then continues* I'm just goin' through one of those phases...there's this problem, and there ain't any easy fix to it...

Seeing that the group is mostly ready and the medics have finished their preliminary work. Ludovic waves over the guards to join the group and direct them to their destination. The guards are mostly quiet in their work, keeping a short distance away save for those whose injuries make travel more difficult, where one guard stands close by to offer support if any is needed.

We will be taking you to the palace, there will be accommodations and better medical supplies there. Please try to move quietly, if possible. Now, do we have everyone?

Ludovic looks over the group once more before they set out to the palace, though in his inexperience with the group as whole he finds it difficult to tell if everyone is present.

(I stand up. Man, having these bandages on my face is going to take some getting used to, but oh well.)

(Delilah stands up as well.) I guess we're ready when everyone else is.

(She turns to Benji and the others.) Are you all ready?

(Gomer giggles bashfully at L'Arachel's comment.)

Oh yes, I mentioned that Gomer was my first child, remember? (Phoebe mentions.) Though I don't recall talking to you much about him otherwise, no...he is quite the interesting individual now that you've actually seen him, hmm?

(Georgés swallows nervously.)

[I groan with some worry.] "...ya sure y'don't wanna get checked out a little? You did get knocked out back there..." [I neglect to mention it was likely one of ours who did that.] "...mm...just...try not t'stress your arm, okay? Even if it doesn't feel like it needs it, y'should probably get someone t'see that. Who knows, it could be a little relaxing for ya..."

[That last remark was a bit presumptuous, but I'd say everyone's at least a little stressed out at this point. I look to Ludo—] "Seems that way." [—then over towards the others who are finishing up getting treated. Y'know, normally, I'd be feeling guilty that I wasn't really in the thick of it as much as they were, but really, I'm just glad they're okay.]

The Medics grab everything and tentatively head back into their shop to resume closing up. I speak up.

Yeah, I think we've got everyone.

Though I decide to send off one ping to Dieter to let them know what's going on.

Hey, Dieter...we're gonna be heading to the palace now, so whatever you're doing, can you catch up with us?

I slowly start going off in the direction of Ludovic.

Good gods, Montresor, that was a fatal error he angrily thought to himself.

"It is nothing, "magical creatures" is simply a different term to refer to Pokemon with, I corrected myself as it is not well-known and wished not to confuse you", Montresor explained.

[Mansion]

"   Mm, indeed he is...   ", said L'Arachel. The background buzzing of the Combee swarm provided more of a strange ambiance rather than an overwhelming annoyance.

Zelgius couldn't help but think to himself, Hm, that Machoke is probably in a similar situation to me... Or maybe he's not working with this Phoebe lady out of repaying a debt, but rather fear? I know I'd sure as hell hate to be turned liked all those Clamperls and Combee...

(I barely interacted with the group at the triage because I thought I had nothing else to say. I look over to the injured mons, then to the Diglett sisters. I know I've said it in my mind before, but I just can't help but think of her when I see them like that. I sigh as I made my way to the city. At the very least, we prevented another Slak Rock from happening, though a part of me thinks even if she took over, it'd still be better than it was back there.)

(I get ready to go, as do Delilah, Marsha, and the others.)

Mansion

(" How many Pokémon are doing this sort of thing? First Clamperls and now Combee? That Aerodactyl fellow and that butler should bail while they still can..." Georgés thinks to himself, looking between Phoebe's Clamperls and L'Arachel's Combees.)

Hey! Where're we sleeping? (Gomer asks L'Arachel suddenly.)

Patience, Gomer! (Phoebe says, glaring at Gomer. She turns to L'Arachel.) Excuse him, please. He doesn't know when to keep quiet...

I had to take a quick, deep breath. "… I'm fine." … (I'm not fine.)

[Foxfell Woods]

"... Apologies for my odd behavior, I imagine you likely simply wish to be left alone and think", Montresor said with a bow.

He then fluttered away in to the dark of the woods, his Combee cohorts following.

[Mansion]

"   Ohohoho~   ", L'Arachel laughed in a posh manner, "   It is quite alright, I imagine everyone was wondering that themselves. We have plenty of empty rooms upstairs in this old manor. Those should all work.   "

Mansion

Thank you so much! (Phoebe says. She turns to Georgés.) Tyrell, my child, please lead everyone to these rooms. Gomer, go with them, please.

Okay! (Gomer says, moving towards Georgés.)

Y-Yes, Phoebe... (Georgés nods. He walks around and gathers the Clamperls all up.) Alright, everyone, chop chop. Up to our bedrooms for the night.

(In about a minute, the chattering Clamperls have gathered all around Georgés and Gomer and follow them up the stairs.)

(Phoebe watches them go off for a minute before turning back to L'Arachel.) Well, that's that...now, how soon will you be able to teach me these spells? Tonight? In the morning? Do you have a preference?

Woods outside Foxfell

Eh? Ain't that...?

I do believe it is!

Dieter? What are you doing out here?

(Some voices that Dieter will find familiar are approaching them.)

"   Mm, I think tonight should suffice, I'd say   ", L'Arachel explained, "   Teleportation should be relatively simple, but teaching the provoking of an eruption may take some time.   "

(Maran, Cortez, Rich, Sunny, and Liesl emerge from the woods and walk up to Dieter.)

Apparently we're all lost... (Cortez says.)

If you're wondering why we're out here, bzz...we...kind of had a mishap and ended up back here after losing our boat... (Maran explains.)

Aye. Turns out that th' boat can't hold five of me plus a whole ton of supplies... (Rich says, embarrassed.)

Are you still here with your friends, Dieter? (Sunny asks.) Or have you struck out on your own?

Autumn can't help but be bothered by Nyquil's responses, but lays off for now. "Alright... let's just... head to the castle for now, okay? My family is throwing you all a feast in your honor!"

"Oh, yeah, I'm still with them. Just needed to... clear my head for a bit."

"We're actually staying in the palace. Or well, we're gonna be there soon."

[Edge of Foxfell]

"Oh, a feast sounds lovely right about now", said Noriaki.

[Mansion]

"   Teleportation would be first line of business, I think.   "

Really? Oh cool! I'm starving... (I say as I continue on. Man, I'm absolutely starving after all of this...hopefully I'll be able to eat despite my bandage.)

Same here... (Delilah says.)

Gosh, Grampy really isn't gonna believe this now... (June says.)

(Lucy looks at Benji, Eliot, and Lilly and grins.) Cool!

Oh, you are? (Liesl asks.) Amazing! I could only dream of doing that...

Bzz, we should get you back there to everyone else then! They haven't left you yet, right? (Maran says.)

All right...show me how. (Phoebe nods, moving off her chair.)

Foxfell, headed to palace

A feast? Damn, man, let's get to the palace so we can get some of that grub!

I start walking ahead, a bit more pep in my step...but somewhat limited because of my bruise.

"I don't think so, no. Let's try and get going before they do, though."

Dieter begins leading the group back the way they first came into the forest.
