(Hearing that whatever an assassination is involves somebody getting killed, Lucy thinks about her parents for a minute. " Were they assassinationed when that guy killed them?" Lucy asks herself. Lucy finds herself drawing a bit close to Eliot in worry.) Uh huh...

"We threw her in the dungeon. That'll show her a lesson. If you want, you can visit her. Just head down the stairs on your way out. Autumn knows this place like the back of her hand, she can show you." The king still seems to be jovial. "Have you all been safe getting here?"

*the sisters both lift their heads, and Tilly can't help but make an observation* If I may be so bold, Your Majesty, you seem to be taking the situation rather casually. I've read a number of books about these incidents, and attempts on the life of a monarch...or even a mayor...tend to not involve a mere single perpetrator...

Foxfell Streets

*Sarah looks up to Cam and simply nods, then says* I hope so...I'm seriously low and these metro prices...I just can't manage.

*she then hops to a bipedal position and asks Yukio* Are you thinking what I'm thinking? aka...look elsewhere? Probably cheaper closer to the gates, if this is like most towns...

(Hoo boy, I'm not sure I want to see someone who just attempted to murder these two kindly rulers. Why'd Autumn's parents even want us to go and see them anyway? Not really wanting to think about why, I bump the thought from my mind.) Uh...yeah, I think so. I mean, Delilah, Lucy, and I came separate from the others, but we're all here now talking to you. (I say, finding myself inching a little bit closer to Delilah.)

Streets

I mean, it sounds like a plan to me. I have no other ideas. (Cam says.)

Letting Tilly voice in effect her own concerns about the situation, Mila tries to keep herself calm by taking the other line of conversation offered by the king.

"We were fine, but the place we left... it wasn't doing so well. Honestly it still has me worried, how things were going there."

Foxfell Castle

Róisín just nods slightly at the king's comment on authority. He's correct; she's never had much time for authority figures of any sort. Then the assassination attempt is mentioned, and her response to the offer of heading to the dungeons is immediate.

"I'd really rather not. Why would I want to look at some traitor's ugly mug?"

Sidequest

Yukio nods.

"Seems like our best bet."

[I can't help but laugh at Lucy's question, albeit with a touch of nervousness.] "No, no, they're fine, lookit 'em! I, it's, uhh, it's..." [I shake my head.] "I...maybe should've waited t'tell ya about that, hehe."

[I playfully ruffle up Lucy's hair, and then decide now to approach the king and queen, bowing my head a little as I stop.] "Uhhh...the name's Eliot...like the...the, the poet..." [I look back for a moment to Lucy, then I continue,] "Umm...I was...wondering, has...has Autumn had dreams like this before?"

Foxfell Throne Room

PJ: "I tell ya, it's always the royal advisor that's the bad guy, why is that?"

*I hop off of Eliot's head and gaze up at the Finley's parents, the rulers of Foxfell. Or, well, I guess I should get used to calling her Autumn now. I clasp my hands together in front of me and bow.*

PJ: "Now then, pleasure to meet you two, I'm PJ. Short for Patrick Jason. Pleasure to meet you both. Uh... feel free to ignore me, I know you're talking about more important things right now."

"I-I'm your grandson… I think." I don't think they could actually understand what I said.

(Lucy laughs slightly, feeling a tad bit better (though the concept still worries her somewhat). She looks at the king and queen.) Is bein' a king and queen fun? (She asks.)

(I can't help but chuckle at PJ's remark. For some reason, I'm now imagining the king and queen's assailant as looking like Jafar. Okay, this probably isn't any laughing matter.)

Treasure Hunters

Okay, then. You guys lead the way! (says Cam.)

(I added to Tilly's observation.) She's right. An assassination attempt isn't usually done alone or without motivation. There must be someone else in league with that traitor. And I'm afraid it won't be the last attempt at this rate.

Salty debates for a bit whether to use Dieter's name or their assumed one and decides...

"Mick Saltspray, yer majesties."

They do a bow.

"Usually I'm Dieter Lowe, so if ya meet anyone by that name later... yeah, that's me."

They then react to the assassination bit.

"Dang... glad that didn't go down... Assumin' yer keepin' safe after that?"

"Sorry for the late introduction, but my name is Wrench. Wrench the Porygon-Z."

(Cam likewise follows Yukio.) Oh, this is gonna be so exciting! (She chirps again as she thinks about the adventure she's going on, turning pink in the process.)

(I'm beginning to get slightly worried again. I hope that some big mess isn't about to happen given that Finley's parents were nearly bumped off like she was fearing that they'd be. I yank on one of my antennae slightly. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.)

Darnell's house

(June seems to be busy working on something in Darnell's workshop that he uses for wood-carvings.)

Be careful with my wood-carving tools, June. (Darnell says as he watches June work.) You know what happened last time.

(I continue to worriedly stand there as we await some type of response from Finley's parents as to if we should feel worried by this would-be assassin and if they would attempt to strike against them again if given the chance. In the meantime I whisper something to Goobert:)

Anything else you wanna catch up on?

(I jump slightly when I hear Marlon talking to me, still kind of nervous about what's been going on here in this castle. Nevertheless, I turn to him and try to think of something else the others and I have done lately.)

Well...uh...we've pretty much told you everything that happened to us in Silversand at this point. The only other things I can think of talking about are mine and Delilah's dates, which were pretty uneventful, or what happened while Renata was in the hospital, which wasn't much either besides sitting in the waiting room...man, I can't really think of anything to talk about.

(I'm not sure if this is because I legitimately can't think of anything or if the situation we're in is just making me too nervous to think clearly.)

Salty looks at Goobert. "I wouldn't mind hearin' about yer date if it ain't too private, matey..."

Well, nothing we can't tell them, right, Goobert? (Delilah says to me.) It's not like we...um...

Well, yeah... (I chuckle a bit nervously.) We ate at the Brown Pelipper in Silversand and hung out on the beach afterward. We talked and stuff and swam and sparred on the beach, but that's about it.

Oh, thanks! (I say to Diete...er, Salty. I look up at Delilah.) We really did have a good time that time, right Del?

Oh yes, Goobert, I can't wait until we can do that again! (Delilah says.)

(I lean against Delilah again. She leans against me herself and makes that purring noise again. Without even realizing it, a similar noise escapes my own throat back at her as I lightly nuzzle against her. Uh...okay, I'm getting a little freaked out now. Is this my Goodra instincts acting up again? I don't ever remember doing that before. I clear my throat and look back at Autumn with her parents.)

So what do you guys think is going to happen next? (I ask.)

Not sure, Goobert. (Delilah says. She heard the noise I made loud and clear, but goes along with my obvious subject change.)
