I— ... this has been going on for YEARS, and she's STILL getting death threats!?

I don't think the death threats stop once they start. Some people are just that pathetic.

You'd think they'd realise by now that their words are probably not going to cause her to kill herself.

That’s not the point, though. The point is to inflict pain. Whether she actually takes their advice is a bonus.

But you know what it can cause?

... leaving social media.

Which is entirely the point, Kyun. It's a shut down, silencing tactic.

Death threats happen all the time for internet personalities. Regardless, I hope Ellis stays in high spirits.

Oh, not just internet celebrities. Lots of real life celebrities get death threats, among other nasty emails and letters. Some people think someone being famous gives them the right to be nasty to them, it seems.

And that's not even going into the tabloid press feeding into that attitude with sensational stories about celebrities' private lives and "scandals". Seriously, fuck tabloids.

RE: Shrek In the Dreamworks vid she made, she was very vocal and to the point on how it was pretty much made with malice in mind, which I agree. She wasn't even talking about stuff like pop culture references or all star cast (which actually is Older than You Think in terms of western animation), she was focused on how it was Katzenberg's flaming hatred towards Eisner and Disney and how essentially it was created with malevolent intent.

I am surprised to see she doesn't like Prince of Egypt, but I can guess maybe because of the portrayal of certain characters and omitting some. And skipping certain characters.

She hated Prince of Egypt because of the dissonance between the 1oth plague (God kills all the first born children in Egypt) and the happy scene that comes after afterwards

Yeah, massacres are generally detrimental to happy endings. No Endor Holocaust is a trope for a reason.

I suggested earlier that instead of killing them alright,God puts them into a sleep like state and has them awake later, nobody dies and God is shown to be merciful and as well as wrathful

but then someone said putting them into comas wasn't any better

You could remove it entirely but then people would complain it was removing an essential part of the story

The underlying problem is that a God who is that powerful could reach his goal any way he wanted without violence. He could freeze the Egyptians in time for a week and let the Jews walk out of the country, just like that.

I mean really God could just also not make them slaves at all. Being omniscient and omnipotent, he's not bound by history or linearity.
