Eh, I'm sure he's an understanding guy. Also that's an absolutely terrible "treatment" for a 40 degree fever, no wonder they don't get any work.

Indeed, a 40 degree fever should mean a trip to the emergency room, because such an infection is life-threatening.

It's worth noting that babies and toddlers tend to have and survive high fevers that would be much more dangerous on an older person. Not sure how old this little girl is supposed to be, but if she's very little then it makes sense that a doctor would be less concerned about high temperatures.

Surprise. It's funny to see that Mafuyu already had her weird verbal tic back in high school. And that she could SMILE. Also we see that crazy shop owner in the flashback.

Kirisu's parents are just the worst. I know their type and the can go to hell. I'm glad that Kirisu broke off from their grasp.

Young Kirisu was adorable. It was sad seeing her lose faith in herself and become cold.

She always spoke like that? That's a surprise.

We know the dad's the teacher because Nariyuki has noticed Kirisu saying the same things that his dad used to say, and Kirisu has noticed Nariyuki saying the same things that her old teacher used to say. Also, they look the same.

Well, it kinda was. Hino pursued what made her happy, even if she isn't the very best like no one ever was. Mafuyu will keep on being a teacher, even a flawed one, because that's what she wants.

No, I mean the real issue is that she shouldn't feel bad for not fulfilling her parents expectations, since it was wrong of them to put such pressure on her in the first place.
