Pretty Nihilistic sounding, probably a 7 or 8
Eminem: The Kids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJ-WRT8tyDQ
Like...A 5? I mean it doesn't sound happy and all, but the lyrics are pretty vague, so there's not much really to object to either...
Mental As Anything - The Nips Are Getting Bigger
"Nips" is actually referring to measures of alcohol here, but otherwise yeah.

Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.Edited by Quilladin206 on Jan 19th 2019 at 10:54:24 AM
6.5 - Hints at some great, clawing unease but certain and confident enough to neutralize it.
8. Sounds dark enough, but kind of vague to tell what they're singing about
Motley Crue-Bastard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvdHkqgoEwQ
The lyrics are very violent, but not profane enough to give it more than a 9.
Lyrics are in the video description.
Spiral out, keep going.Uh, a 6? I feel like I should put this higher, but going on the lyrics alone it's kinda vague and I'm not quite sure what's going on...
Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.A hard 6, typical angry breakup song with a single swear word.
Nonsense is better than no sense at all.7-8. It's calling a woman out for her promiscuity. Good song but a little cringy.
Biffy Clyro-Convex, Concave
Disjointed ramblings, almost a Word Salad Lyrics, but pretty dark in its own way, 7.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - O Children
Spiral out, keep going.7 - One of those songs where it's clear it's about something considerably darker than its veiled prose would imply, perhaps being hunted as an enemy of the state circa the 30's to 50's and memories of past traumas, but it takes much longer for it to really settle in.
10. It's pretty dark. It gets pretty graphic at times.

11. Christ that's dark as hell.
Pigs (Three Different Ones) by Pink Floyd
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollThe lyrics are vague, but there's clearly a dark subtext present, nothing really explicit except a single F-bomb, 5.
Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows - Across The Bridge
Spiral out, keep going.7. Clearly some dark shit but it never gets really graphic. Nice song.
Deftones-RX Queen

Here's the song
Some pretty dark things - stalking, epidemic, visions of apocalypse - thrown in a blender, result is too unfocused to score more than a 6.
Gerry And The Pacemakers - You'll Never Walk Alone
Spiral out, keep going.A 1, very low 2 at most. Message can't really be interpreted as anything but positive.
Kendrick Lamar -Swimming Pools (Drank)
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.I give it a 7. A dark deconstruction of party lifestyle.
Queensryche- Screaming In Digital
Just another day in the life of Jimmy NutrinReally dark undertones, implying someone stalking someone, but nothing explicit, 5.
Spiral out, keep going.7. It's about a bad relationship, but I've heard worse.
6. Pretty dark but not enough to get higher.

The rating kind of depends on how you view the lyrics. If you think that Pink's simply being anesthesized, like Roger Waters was, which inspired this song, then it's about a 6, 7 at best because of the angst. If you think he's doing heroin, it's an 8 for sure.
Nonsense is better than no sense at all.
Pretty sexual lyrics, comparing it to church. 7.
Hollywood Undead - Fuck the World
