  • Generators:
    • Each generator can only be effects by a "Regression Event" a maximum of 8 times. A regression event is anything a Killer does that blows a gen (kick, Pain Res, Surge, but not Ruin)
    • Gen tapping gone. A Survivor must now get 5% progress on a regressing generator to stop the regression
  • FOV Slider will be added to the Beta tab
  • Ormond changes.

    Killers 
  • Onryô:
    • Mostly a revert to pre-rework Onryô, in that Condemned will once again only hit Survivors by a TV when you teleport, and the teleport cooldown is removed. The main difference being rather than build up Condemned passively when carrying a tape, getting hooked will "lock in" your current level of Condemned such that it can't be removed, even by inserting a tape.
  • Hillbilly:
    • Overheat replaced by Overdrive: you heat up same at before but now you when you max out you get powered up with increased chain saw charge speed, sprint speed, and sprint cooldowns
    • General buffs to normal sprint speed and reduction to collision detection.
  • Blight
    • Nerfs/Reworks to addons. The one that'll be on most peoples' minds is Alchemist Ring, which will now increase Rush duration by 20% for each consecutive Rush.

     Perks 
  • Save the Best For Last
    • Each token is now 4% attack cooldown, down from 5%
    • You lose 2 tokens if the Obsession loses a health state by any means.
  • Grim Embrace
    • In addition to it existing effect, when you hook any survivor for the first time gens are blocked for a maximum of 12 seconds after you leave the Hook.
  • Quick Gambit
    • Increased effective range, decreased gen speed boost.
  • Hex: Ruin
    • No longer deactivates on a Survivor death
  • Shadowborn: Reworked due to FOV Slider. Now gain haste for 10 seconds when blinded.
  • Monitor & Abuse: FOV effect removed, otherwise untouched.

Okay so I’ve had a few matches against Chucky and I still don’t know how he’s meant to work. I do think his unnoticeable state needs to be changed up at the very least.

A quick rundown:

When you see his little pitter patters all over the place, that's your warning he's in Hidey-Ho Mode/ stealth mode. I don't think proximity factors into whether you see the footsteps. When he's in Hidey-Ho that's when he can do his rush at you attack and if he hits a window or downed pallet he'll go through it.

One thing I recently learned is it can see Chucky's footsteps to locate him during chase, but only on loops where you'd see a normal sized killer. So if you're running a short wall and could see Trapper, you'll see the footsteps that let you locate Chucky. At a high wall, you can not.

One thing about Sadako's update I didn't realize at first: when she teleports Survivors near any active TV get Condemned stacks, not just the TV you port to.

The new Killer, the Unknown, is a creepy sumbitch. I kind of think the name is a copout, but I don't mind since they went all Undead Unluck with it by theme naming the perks Unbound, Undone, and Unforeseen.

Also in this update are a change to Mangled (reverting it to being on a timer of 60-90 seconds, depending on the source) and updates to multiple killers (Blight, Clown, Demogorgon, Doctor, Hag, Huntress, and Pig).

Blight is just getting one of his Iri add-ons tweaked yet again. The rest are being mostly buffed in the form of a lot of their more "required" addons becoming basekit (increased ammo for Huntress and Clown, increased range and faster detonation for Shock Therapy, etc).

The one there that's attracted the most attention is Pig. She's getting buffs to her stealth and Ambush, but the Reverse Bear Traps are being nerfed (timer increases by 30 seconds, Pig can no longer see Jigsaw Boxes). People have been up in arms over the RBT timer, though I don't get it myself; I regard RBT kills as a bonus rather than a goal. I treat the traps as slowdown, guaranteeing Survivors are off generators for however long it takes to remove the trap. My go-to add-on with Pig for this reason is Ruleset No 2 (survivors can't see Jigsaw Boxes until the trap is active) to reduce their ability to remove the trap before they're on the clock.

Personally I'm thinking the increased time is a response to Pig's updated RNG, since it often ensures at least one to two Survivors will have to search 4 boxes to get their traps off.

I want to share a video from a streamer I've been watching more lately, The Cool Mike Show.

It's a Scratched Mirror/Jumpscare Myers build with a twist: Combining Dark Devotion and Starstruck to inflict Survivors with Exposed when it should normally be impossible.

Unforseen definitely has potential here.

This build is evil and hilarious and I absolutely need to try it myself at some point.

     The Twins 
  • Tweaks designed to smooth swapping between Victor and Charlotte (less time to do so, can do so near hooks [facecamp meter will be in effect]) and use of Victor (can recall at will, faster pounce charge)
  • Not unlike Hillbilly, they've flipped the script on how to use their power.
    • Instead of latching on to healthy Survivors, Victor will now damage healthy Survivors without latching, and Victor can no longer be kicked after a successful pounce.
    • Victor will now latch onto downed Survivors for a maximum of 20 seconds instead of continuing on. Other Survivors can kick Victor off in this state.
  • While Victor is holding down a dying Survivor or attached to a locker, Charlotte gains a 10% Haste boost that lasts until Victor is removed or until Charlotte hits another Survivor, whichever comes first.
  • Victor no longer gives Killer Instinct detection when latched on to a Survivor (presumably he will still do so when sitting idle)
  • The visual TR will show to indicate Victor's grunts, similar to Huntress and her Lullaby.
  • Victor will glow red when vulnerable to being crushed.

Also in the mix are:

  • A tweak to Blight to reduce sliding
  • A buff to Decisive Strike (stun lasts 5 seconds, up from 3, and gets an animation, too)
  • A nerf to Adrenaline (No longer heal if on hook when it triggers, speed boost is now 3 seconds, down from 5, and you no longer wake up from the Dream World vs Freddy)
  • A rework/nerf to Ultimate Weapon (shows auras instead of forcing a scream, active for 15 seconds, down from 30, and cooldown changed to 80/70/60 seconds, up from 40/35/30 seconds.
  • Rework if Haddonfield, making it smaller and ensuring more playable houses spawn.
  • Depipping will be removed.
  • Overhaul to the store

The big Twins changes, where Victor latches on down instead of on injure and Charlotte gaining Haste, will not go live. Various QoL updates still will

Couple of Blight add-ons will be toned down.

Decisive Strike will not have an animation but will retain the 5 second stun

Ultimate Weapon will go back to making Survivors scream instead of revealing their auras, but will now be tied to 32 meters of the locker opened to proc it instead of the Terror Radius.

Might want to be more specific about your intent. Most of the Killers are human or humanoid, while Demogorgon and, I think, Xenomorph are animals or, at least, not sentient.

First thing coming to mind is Artist and her association with crows.
