But losing Hyouga, after we don’t know what he said in confidence to Xeno, would be a huge shock. And everyone is far too attached to Kohaku. But if the Medusa saves them, that is way too OP. I think he wrote himself into a corner. Damned if you kill those three, damned if you save them.

I really don't think Kohaku's dead for good. Or Hyoga. Tsukasa might be, because they was actually a not terrible send off for him, but Kohaku definitely deserved more than that and Hyoga has unresolved plot points floating around him.
