GoNoodle provides examples of:

  • Affectionate Parody: Montana James and the Palace of Peril
  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Maximo the blue monkey.
  • Cartoon Creature: The Champs.
  • Character Customization: While teacher accounts can only select one of the available Champs, home accounts can create their own Champ.
  • Digital Avatar: A Champ is used to represent the user.
  • Edutainment Game: Available if you have GoNoodle Plus.
  • Female Feline, Male Mutt: Inverted with Mr. Catman and Mrs. Dogman.
  • Freemium: There's GoNoodle Plus, which gives access to {[Edutainment}} material if you pay some $10 a month or $1,500 a year for a school. Fortunately, this is not enforced much, a 30DayFreeTrial is available, and you are given Plus for free if a company near you sponsors Plus for teachers.

  • Informed Species: Maximo is supposed to be a monkey, but he looks like a blue human with big ears and an animalistic snout instead, especially without a tail.
  • Loophole Abuse: Since the videos can't track if you did the actions or not, you can just sit there and grow your Champ!
  • Man in White/Sharp-Dressed Man: Maximo wears a white tuxedo with a purple bowtie.
  • Mascot: McPufferson the rabbit-like Champ
  • Non-Human Head: Mr. Catman is a human with a cat's head. Mrs. Dogman is a human with a dog's head.
  • Product Placement: Several Kidz Bop and Zumba Kids videos are available.
    • Videos added from YouTube count too.
    • Limited content from temporary sponsors count too, also.
  • Song Parody: "The Maxarena", which is basically a parody of "The Macarena". It even includes the dance moves too.
  • Virtual Paper Doll: You can dress up a custom Champ, with items you have earned from playing the videos.
