Oh hey, there's a girl in this series who gives two fucks about science and stuff! That's good to know.
Welp, they're already there. The island is a bit bigger than I expected…
Now we can get to the meat.
One Strip! One Strip!Welp… At least they know the petrification beam is on the island now.
Hah, called it (in regards to Suika).
The stakes have officially been raised.
I sense a Wham Episode incoming. We're probably on the verge of finding out what caused the petrification.
Man, what an amazing chapter.
Who were the victims this time?
Everyone on the ship, besides Gen, Senkuu, Kohaku, Soyuz, (who were on the island) and Suika (who was thrown off the ship by Ryuusei just in time). People theorize that Ginrou, who was in the water, might also have made it.
Oh God Ryuki's arm broke off. Jesus hopefully he gets that reattached.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If this works out, will we even need to go halfway around the world anymore? Maybe if someone just has to grab the platinum and run.

And thus, we make contact with the inhabitants of the island....this seems a bit familiar...
One Strip! One Strip!Well, looks like they got into...
> puts in sunglasses
... a rocky situation.
Of course we don't get to see her headdress in color. Otherwise we'd know exactly where the plot is going. Get the lady, get her headdress, get the platinum it's made of? Gen should totally make the suitors' bouquets of lillies disappear. It definitely worked out well the last time he back-palmed some flowers in front of a strong-looking stone-ager. JK, he should ironically call them out for not taking part in the attack on the big scary boat.

And, like, Platinum isn't a particularly unusual colour. It's just grey/silver, like 80% of metals are.
It's also heavy enough that wearing a significantly sized chunk of it on your head would be pretty uncomfortable. And the crown looks, to me, like it's made of at least three different kinds of material anyway.
Chapie out. New ally acquired! Beam Man apparently uses petrification to keep his subjects obedient…
It's weird to see the plot advance so fast all of a sudden…
...Hmmm...
Things seem to be going too good so far.
I'm gonna see how this plays out.
One Strip! One Strip!Whoa, that is going pretty fast indeed. I wonder if Inagaki has anything prepared for when they master the petrification beam.
... And that's called jazz!I mean, it can coast for a good while on man vs nature stuff if it really needs to. And as far as human antagonists go, there's still those two in the brig...
I'm kinda worried now that the next chapter is gonna be something sexist or at least glorifying make up too much
You probably should be worried, but lets see how this goes.
We're learning more about the Petrification light all the time. Things are getting interesting.
Heh. Amaryllis having that shit eating grin along Gen and Senku...she's gonna fit in just fine.
I still think she might be evil, but we'll see.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, because Kohaku clearly looks like an old boot. >.> Though I guess the chief would only want demure and submissive girls in his harem…
I'm also pretty sure Mozu and Kirisame know that Amaryllis survived.
What are the chance that the one responsible for the mass petrification was actually among the astronauts? He would want to be out of the light's range after all.
Just as Gen explains how to avoid breaking into splinter groups, we find out that Ishigami village itself is a splinter group.
