This truly is the week before E3.

Nintendo just loving the raid boss trope lately.

Dynamaxing in FEH sure is something. Mixing up the music is nice. But most importantly, The Lost One has finally returned.

I guess it's nice to see they haven't completely ignored the old 5 units. Making a big deal of the rates being only 1% higher feels silly, but better than nothing. Feels like something they should do for year 1 seasonals too, but I doubt they'll ever do it.

It's not just a 1% higher rate, it's a 2/3 chance of getting the focus unit instead of a pitybreaker. Statistically I don't think pitybreakers matter all that much, but they certainly are frustrating.

Yeah, +1% is pretty silly low for a lot of units people are going to be "meh" on. And the odds of pulling ones that are still high tier are pretty low.

Definitely like the variety added by the Concert Hall and the fact that we're getting another cooperative mode with Sieges.

It's the best chance to merge a 5* to +10 we'll ever get, probably. The odds are only beaten by the new player banner (which you're unlikely to have orbs saved up for) and they're distributed to have no overlap of colors on the same banner.

So if you have hundreds of orbs saved up and want a +10 Elincia, you'll get 33% more Elincias by sniping reds. That's pretty significant over a large sample size. You don't get more 5* in total, but you get a whole lot more of the ones you want.

As for people not wanting them, I guess that might be true for a lot of them, but there are definitely some diamonds in there with amazing refines. Celica, for example.

Obstruct might become meta. That would be fun to see.

Rokkr sieges actually look fun; maybe it'll be badly balanced, but at the very least it's a source of more orbs without being the fuckin' Arena or Aether Raids.

Also I'm trash and going to helplessly pull for Hectors because everything needs DC.

Yeah, Dynamax jokes aside I don't mind Sieges. It's a fun idea at least, though getting the difficulty right will be hard.

I've personally think Rokkr Sieges would be better if said opponent was actually an antagonist from the series.

They're probably just testing the waters for now. Once they've tuned things up, I wager we'll get more thematic Rokkr Sieges. They could recreate iconic maps for redos of certain climactic battles, not unlike what GHBs have done.

So I expected Bonus Doubler to be a L!Roy only thing, but here we go. Also, Yarne with Galeforce and Atk/Spd Solo and Spd Wave. They want the spoooked rabbit to sweep.

I personally don't care about any of these characters so I can save orbs, but...is it me or does that pink in Nah's dragon form make her look...awkwardly sunburnt.

Cynthia is the GHB unit.

Once again, the character I would have considered pulling for the most is free. Ah well.

It's been almost a year since the last awakening banner, so I expected awakening to be soon.

Infantry Breath is pretty good.

Also Brady feels weird. Premium passive skills but no Wrathful/Dazzling staff and completely basic weapon/assist/special, like they couldn't decide if they want him to be the demote or not.

Not every staff unit needs to be Brave Veronica but Brady honestly feels worse than Mikoto.

It's kinda like how armors either need Armor March, Vengeful Fighter or Bold Fighter, or some variation of Distant Counter, to be really good or worth it.

Dazzling Staff and Wrathful Staff are that for staves. But staves in general fall much harder into that problem because of their SI limitations.

Well, that's five more Awakening folk to knock off the list. At least it's not alts, so it feels like progress has been made.

None of 'em interest me, though. Still pining away for Gregor...
