There a multipliers to facilitate that. Right now it's x2.

You don't even need a ton of stamina potions if you're willing to space it out over a few days.

Depends on how much real time you want to spend on it. Dumping a bunch of Stamina Potions during a multiplier can drastically shorten that.

Yeah, I dumped only 4 so far on the x2, all 4 are about 1k in hearts.

New mode is okay. It's a stamina sink for whenever a TT isn't running. I imagine the multipliers get bigger as the event goes on to keep people from just blitzing through it on the first day or two. Rewards are a bit underwhelming aside from the accessories.

I like it better than Tap Battle, but that's not a hard bar to pass.

Random thought though, do you think they plan to raise the Hero Merit cap, or is it going to be stuck on 5000 because they don't seem to be doing anything about 0 stamina map farming?

I imagine they'll eventually raise it, but 5000 is kind of a nice number. It's high enough that your old favourites won't max out too fast, but not too high that people aren't daunted when they get a whack of new characters. They'll need to raise it eventually to keep its relevance as an incentive, but I think they can afford to take it slow and steady at this point.

I finally, finally got a summer unit, 12 hours before it closes: Tana. Neutral IV's, which sucks, but I don't even care, I just wanted at least one goddamn summer unit after how many orbs I dumped into that banner.

Neutral is way better than -Atk or -Spd.

Agreed. Neutral is honestly always a good set.

Compare a -ATK or -SPD Summer Tana with a +ATK or +SPD one. You missed out on 6 extra points in that particular stat.

This mew mode could have benefited from making Enemy Only Units of bosses who appear in one chapter and no overarching goal. Like most of Awakenings.

Neutral is still sub-optimal, which bothers me, but I don't really play too intensely into Arena or anything so it should be fine I guess.

I generally don't look any 5-star unit gift horse in the mouth, least of all a limited edition one like this.

Unless you're willing to pay up, you just have to make do with what you have. My S!Tana is -Atk, which definitely sucks. But I've got an optimal Spooky Nowi, so it's not a huge deal to me. And you can sometimes make up for banes anyway. My S!Corrin is -Spd, but with enough buffs and support she can usually double when she needs to.

Yeah, some units are crippled by not having optimal boons/banes, but the vast majority of the seasonal and newer units don't fall under that category. It's more like if you seriously want to use old, bad units, like Henry or Odin, you gotta hunt for the optimal set because they won't perform otherwise.

So, funny thing about new mode, since the news post says it scales with your units, I tried taking some level 1s in to see what would happen. All the enemies there have their 5-star weapons and have all their skills at max rank, making things about as rocket tag as Arena just after SI was first introduced.

It's for that reason that I really dislike pulling a colour with multiple focuses. Unfortunately, if I ever want to merge more Fjorms (or any other legendary, for that matter), I'll have to put up with pulling against a focus with three people trying to elbow each other out of the way for pull chance. I guess I'll have time to keep saving for her, though so that I can spend 600 orbs and not get a single copy of her, given that it's highly likely that this next legendary banner is going to introduce a new blue unit (and thus push both Fjorm out of the ability to appears for July and August).

Passed around a bunch more blessings and hit 5217 in AA. Mode gets a little more interesting when you try to maximize the blessings score I'll admit.

Today I got my first Shigure at 4 Stars and he was -Attack, +Defense.

So that total letdown while I was trying to get Nephenee at least gave me and excuse to promote him to give the Harmonic Lance to someone.

And of course because I'm out of my damn mind I gave it to a decent IV Sully whom I also promoted.

I don't know what it is about heavily investing in underwhelming units that puts such a stupid smile on my face, but I love it.

Dang, I didn't expect to get actual feelings from the end of a Tempest Trial about being in bikinis.

Lucina is still a dick.

Small complaint, but the music during the bonds event conversations bugs me. It's too upbeat and cheerful for what's supposed to be a somewhat serious battle while the characters are opening up to you. Ruins the mood. FGO's music is pretty good about matching the tone while chatting with your servants, and it makes this event feel weaker than it is.

Yeah, she's got no actual reason to be lying to a child there. Tiki's still super cute, though.

She hides her identity from everyone, so I guess Tiki isn't an exception. I'm not sure why she feels she needs to hide it, though. The mask was originally (a flimsy) way to stop any problematic shenanigans that may occur with time travel in her home game, but when she's just bouncing world to world in Heroes, there's very little chance of anyone even knowing who she is, never mind making a big deal about it.

She's just super into cosplay, I suppose. Probably a coping mechanism to deal with a complete lack of native kit.

It does seem a little much to keep up the charade with someone who actually knows Marth, though. Makes the impersonation seem more deceptive than her weird cosplay thing.
