Good stuff, kinda reminds me of a mix of Aragorn and Legolas.
Thanks He does look somewhat Tolkienesque doesn't he.
Recently I painted Basha of Ironskull's Boyz warband for Shadespire. He was a test for an Orc/Ork/Orruk in green armour and to try out using the Ryza Rust paint I got. I think both turned out relatively well.
Indeed.
Looking forward to getting home and getting back to the table.
Thanks. Good luck with getting back to painting.
I recently painted the Fellowship version of Legolas for the Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game. I painted him in similar colours to Aenur (who I posted a couple of weeks ago) and, although his eyes turned out very weird for some reason, I feel he turned out quite well.
Recently I made a Company Commander for my planned Armageddon Ork Hunters army. I like how he turned out but I am a bit sad I couldn't fit a tree on his base alongside the Ork skulls.
My latest Blood Bowl model is the Star Player Karla von Kill for my Solland Knights Human Team. I feel the painting isn't my best work but I do really like the model and it is always good to get a bit of diversity into the game.
I recently tried repainting one of my 1st Edition Necromunda miniatures. I think he turned out quite nicely.

Here is a unit of Deathrattle Skeletons I have painted for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. I have changed the colours from the last unit I painted and feel that the new one is better.
This week I finished painting Yvraine, Emissary of Ynnead. I both love and hate fiddly models but feel she turned out relatively well in the end. Not sure about her cat though.
Little later this week due to being in hospital but here is a Goliath Ganger for Necromunda that I painted a while ago but never got around to posting. while I am still not totally happy with him I think his face is better than some of the others I have done in the past.
I haven't been able to take any pics of my more recently painted models recently so here is something I painted a while ago but never posted individually: A Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer. He is one of the Chaos Dwarf Daemonsmiths from Forge World with a Blood Bowl ball on his head.
I've been impressed by these latest models. I haven't painted in a while, been finding it hard to get motivated to start...the Contrast paints coming out has me thinking I could make some serious progress, but I think next month I'm going to buckle down and knock out the Knights I have before I jump back into the Blood Angels.
Thanks.
while I do try to paint at least a little every day, my work and health have been slowing down my already slow painting speed considerably. I have been thinking of trying the Iyanden Yellow Contrast Paint when I come to do my next unit of Wraithguard but that could be a while.
Finaly got a pic of one of my recently painted models: My Daemon Herald of Slaanesh, Slaa’terri’ka, the Soloist of Beautiful Pain. I think she turned out far better than the other Slaaneshi Daemons I have painted so far.
That’s pretty good. . From the name, I was thinking it was that new model that’s playing the harp made from that guy’s tendons. Is that a metal mini?

Thanks. Its resin but one of the better GW Resin ones I have come across. I was thinking more of a solo singer when I named her. When I come to paint the Infernal Enrapturess I am planning on naming her the Bard of Screams.

Here is a swordsman from the Empire town of Bögenhafen that I painted a while ago. Purple and cream work surprisingly well together.
Here is an Interrogator-Chaplain that I painted for my Guardians of the Covenant army. I am very happy with how he turned out, particularly the smoke.
Oh, that's nice...very cool.
I picked up several of the Contrast paints, a pot of medium, and a box of the cheapo Space Marines to test them out on. Overall, I'm tentatively pleased, although I was a little disappointed at the streakiness, especially with Warp Lightning. I'll also have to be a lot more careful with my brush strokes than normal. I also primed the models with Vallejo grey primer, and that makes for a very slick surface for the paint. I wonder how that compares to Wraithbone and Grey Seer, or Stylynrez...they might do better with a primer that has some tooth.
Thanks.
I've been thinking about getting a new Contrast paint the next time I make a trip to GW. Don't know when that will be though due to real life issues unfortunately.
I figured out too late that Basilicanum Grey is a very light gray and not well suited for painting the metallic parts of bolters and the vents on backpacks.
It always seems that by the time I get used to the Citadel Paint range, they make some changes and I have to work out whats best once again.
Anyway, last week I finished painting the Dark Imperium Lord of Contagion so here is Lord Poxis the Fetid of the Apostles of Contagion (I changed my mind about my Death Guard colour scheme again). The model is brilliant and I am so happy with the paint scheme I gave him I would probably rank him as one of the best results I have ever had.
This week I finally got around to painting one of my favourite models from the old Warhammer Gaiden Game Mordheim: Aenur, the Sword of Twilight.
His eyes are a bit off as usual but other than that I like how he turned out, particualy his cloak.
