The humanoid immediately plucks out the longest pair of his wing blades, swinging it at the Helldiver, while the rest hover close by.

Maurice doesn't outright attack yet, but steps back, preparing to go on the defensive just in case. "Well, this is escalating quickly."

The Helldiver fires 5 high caliber armor piercing rounds at the soldier with his suppressed SMG, before ducking behind the pillar he was standing next to, dodging the blade and most of the metal. One of the blasts hits the armored vest he's wearing, but doesn't do much damage to it.

"I SHOULD TELL YOU THAT YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOUR SELVES."

He tosses a flash grenade at the group from behind the pillar, and as it detonates, the Helldiver sprints to a nearby building. He stops and leans against a wall next to the doorway, facing the group.

"I see," replies Neptuneman to the humanoid jet and the drone. "Would you like to form an alliance until we get rid of him?" If Neptuneman forms an alliance with these guys, then they won't be obstacles in his quest to obtain every mask in the universe! It's a brilliant plan!

Neptuneman also doesn't attack. He wants to see how this guy fights before forming a counter attack. It would be stupid to attack if you don't know what he might do next. Unfortunately, he was blinded by that flash grenade. Only inferior Choujin resort to cowardly moves like that!

"Sure, why not." The soldier answers offhandedly. The defense drone moves in front of them, putting up a much more visible barrier in the shape of hexagons to block the bullets, though two manage to penetrate its barrier and armor slightly. "I think I'm gonna need more firepower- flashbang." The soldier warns as they move next to Maurice, seemingly unaffected by the flashbang and motioning for him to follow as they close in on the Helldiver.

As they switch to a different weapon, the drones attack the Helldiver from above with more rockets.

There's a particular reason they can resist the flashbang.

"I don't mind, either way—"

Cue the flash grenade exploding. The jet person, being more of a robot than a human, is not affected. Which is probably unfortunate for the Helldiver.

"I'm Deleris CG-0 Alpha-type Hypertech Unit, by the way. And now I'll deal with that annoying little twit."

A gun pops out from his arm, and he opens fire at the Helldiver, electricity-charged bullets being sent at the human.

Maurice preemptively closes his eyes to keep the flashbang from affecting him, thanks to the warning. He keeps his eyes closed and nods subtly as he follows after the soldier. "Funny. Just a bit ago, I was the one you were shooting at. What did I do to deserve such a reprieve?" he asks, opening his eyes again and starting to form his water into a larger whirlpool around himself.

Unfortunately, the Helldivers armor and suit seem to be lined with rubber, protecting from the electricity. But they leave some nasty bruises and a lot of pain.

The Helldiver sprays 10 armor piercing bullets at the jet person, before diving into the building, away from the rockets. He quickly hops behind a desk facing the door way.

Deleris uses his blade wings to cut through most of the bullets, though one hits his gun and disables it, forcing him to retract it.

"Well, that sucks."

He takes off into the air... and then promptly appears inside the building and divebombs the Helldiver, all blades pointed at the human. If the divebomb fails, he'll quickly attempt to slash at him with five swings from both blades, which are charged with plasma.

Anyone with the right scanners would detect brief time-space manipulation and the creation of a wormhole.

You do know that he's now in a building, right?

The soldier hovers outside a window where the Helldiver is. If he's paying attention, he can see a slight shimmer in the air around him - apparently they sent the small recon drones to follow him. The soldier switches to a weapon akin to a cross between a flamethrower and a grenade launcher. They shoot a couple of fireballs at the Helldiver's position -smashing the window- to cause rather large, very fiery explosions.

"A wormhole? That's new." The soldier notes.

Neptuneman calmly watches the jet and the soldier attempt to flush out the Helldiver. If he were to blindly rush in, he'll just get himself killed by friendly fire. Besides, he was recuperating from the shotgun wounds.

Baron Green fell asleep.

Ah, okay.

The Helldiver leaps over the desk into a hallway, dodging the fire and explosions. Then the jet person appears and tries to dive bomb the Helldiver.

The blades impact the armored vest, protecting the Helldiver, but knocking the wind out of him and forcing him to the ground. He raises his SMG and fires the remaining 15 armor piercing bullets point blank at the jetman.

A spacewoman appears in the firefight.

Sorry for disappearing on you earlier, Josh. >.> It was a little late for me.

Due to no doubt executive meddling Von Twirlenkiller was denied his earlier fight by being, somehow, whisked away. Perhaps it was his opponent who was whisked away? Who was he to guess?

Fortunately, it seemed he was being given free reign to seek out challengers. The ponderous form moved through the city, looking for any fight.

The spacewoman activates her EMP Overclock bomb, designed to cause shutdown via overpowering it.

The EMP thus washes over Von Twirlenkiller... but proves utterly ineffective. Deathwatch officials know better than to allow such an easy win on their cyborg.

Von Twirlenkiller doesn't grace the astronaut with a commentary, instead revving up his turbine to great speeds before releasing a stream of whirling air, a horizontal tornado made to shake her up to the very core.

Ryu is accidently crushed, and his body fades away.

Mercury Black is suddenly seen strolling around on a nearby rooftop.

Maurice is unconscious, sitting against the side of a building, quietly snoring. Space narcolepsy strikes again.

The soldier decides to wake Maurice up with a couple shots a few inches away from his head.
