Oy, that's definitely JAFAAC. Nuke it with extreme prejudice.
I wonder if the subpages should go under "No pic", now that I think about it...
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportConsidering that the Dethroning Moment Of Suck pages don't have images, I think we should go the same route here.

I can get behind pulling the pic and at the very least BUPKIS'ing the subpages.
Don't know if we have a trope for "bad/cheap animation", which is the only thing that picture illustrates (Lazy Artist is about the closest). But yes, since this is an audience reaction, and an incredibly specific one at that, pull it.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'll go with what Willbyr said.
(Annoyed grunt)I'm not familiar with the work enough to even sure that's bad/cheap animation, not just a really low-quality screencap of a show with decent animation. So, to Wilbyr's suggestion.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The image is pulled and the page is tagged for this thread.
could we use something from the film Foodfight! as a replacement? The animation is pretty terrible, we just need to find a good screenshot that illustrates the trope.

Maaaaaybe...any ideas?
Okay, hands on the table, I was the one who uploaded the image, as I thought that the live insect crawling through the frame would be enough to illustrate the subject. However, if a better image is in order, might I suggest something from that hideous Alices Adventures In Wonderland adaptation?
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.Honestly, I'd've never known that was an insect if you hadn't said anything...it's so artifacted it just looks like a dark smear.
It'd probably be still JAFAAC but what if we added an arrow pointing at the bug in the Dingo Pictures photo? And maybe make the caption a little clearer? Just a thought.
Now that's a good idea. Maybe something along the lines of: "It's hard to tell through the poor film quality, but that is indeed a live insect crawling through the frame."
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.for BUPKIS

Okay... Your choice of the "Thumbs Up" emote denotes approval, but your choice of the word "BUPKIS" denotes disapproval...

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Ahh... So anyone suggesting any kickass images?
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.Since their are no pretty kickass images being suggested, maybe This poster◊ with a caption along the lines of "This was actually released."
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.Nothing there to suggest that it's horrible. It's a bizarre and non-realistic drawing style, but it takes more than that to make SBIH
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think a version of the current image drawing more attention to the fact that the black smudge is a live insect is the way to go.
Aside: there was some talk of turning They Just Didn't Care into a "total failure of production values" trope, which would have made this image an even better fit there. But looking at the page now, it seems that's not the way we went.
I second restoring the image with greater emphasis on the insect.
On that note, shouldn't sub-pages have looser image standards than main pages? I get that main pages, being the trope's "hub" and having more general viewership, require stricter illustration guidelines, but sub-pages, being a smaller and more narrowly focused part of the pie, can have more room for a touch more levity while the main page image does the "heavy lifting".
If that's not the case, than who says it can't be?
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have.Sub-pages should be held to the same standard as any page.
Honestly, i don't think it's possible to display SBIH simply with an image from a work. The whole point of SBIH isn't to show works that are just considered "bad," but to talk about works so bad that there's no actual fanbase, even among the intended audience. Don't forget that there are well-loved shows that go for deliberately shoddy art styles, animation, effects, etc., while others that aren't as deliberately done may still get a Cult Following.
Really, the only way I see an image working is by using something like a Rotten Tomatoes and user ratings of a work along with a screenshot/cover of the work, similar to the image on Critical Dissonance. Maybe if we can find a comic strip talking about how a work fits all the criteria to ocunt as SBIH, it could work as well.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Just a pretty shabby image - without a pothole at that - that demonstrates nothing of the trope. Honestly, given this trope's status as Flame Bait, I sincerely doubt any sub pages need any images. I vote to pull.
