Anyhow, yeah, Shirogane's had it rough as well, geez. Still, Kaguya heard all of that, so now we're set for her turn to make a big romantic act. This could be good. And I'll second the praise for the way the author has handled the situation. I wasn't keen on Ice Kaguya's appearance, but there was clearly a plan behind her resurgence.

I'd say we're close to the end of the third season right now, with the end of the election or the sports festival as the end of the second. Depends on how pragmatically they adapt things.

The end of the third season is obviously the big kiss.

Poor doctor, he gonna be great grandfather at the age of 51.

I really don't have it in my heart to feel sorry for him, given his clear lack of interest in actually fixing that or teaching his children how to avoid it.

No, it would have been weird if someone had. Until now the two characters were entirely unconnected.

Tsubasa said that he came from a family of doctors. I've seen WMG based on even more thinner connections.

All of the foreshadowing for Kawashigi getting pregnant is so damn hilarious in hindsight. The resulting love talk with either Shirogane or Kaguya is going to be fucking gold.

And Maki will probably go all School Days if this keeps up...

I've seen the theory that it's not Kashiwagi because she always insists on protection. Instead, she and Tsubasa break up on Christmas, and he rebounds to Maki who like Kaguya is innocent about this sort of stuff and will inadvertently end up going way too far way too fast. "What do you mean we should wait for you to go buy condoms, I wanna be a real couple right now! You and Kashiwagi did it!"

Please no. That's not the fun kind of bullying anymore.

Yeah, Maki deserves better than that (and arguably better than Tsubasa, though I only say that because he's really bland).

Call him Kashiwagi's Boyfriend like he deserves.

At least we get a better reason why Kaguya reverted to her ice persona she wanted him to see a different side to her than what she's used to showing.

But yea, my mans is going about this the wrong way. Hopefully she can slap some sense into him.

That's a neat reason for her to be suddenly in ice mode. I was kind of wondering about that since while she was acting all cold she was also being much more romantically aggressive, meaning she wasn't just trying to hide.

And yeah someone needs to slap some sense into Shirogane. Massive inferiority complexes are even more annoying than sudden ice queen twists.

I watched the anime last week while reading the manga, which I caught up on just two days ago.

The spinoffs are boring but I'm keeping up with the fangirl one at least. The doujin one can't even seem to do good fanservice judging by the first chapter.

The doujin one is mostly just an excuse for dirty jokes. The fanservice is really weak.

I like dirty jokes but the first chapter didn't have any good ones.

But anyway, enough about that. Aside from the current mess, I'm also kind of wondering how much carnage there's going to be in three months for Ishigami when Miko claims Kaguya's pendant from the lost and found and Tsubame answers his confession.

The fanservice spinoff got way better when they just gave up on sexy and started doing a bunch of alternate universe fanfic scenarios.

I read a few more chapters and go up to the hypnosis app chapter but still couldn't get into it.

You know what I'd like to see? Kaguya beating the stupid out of Shirogane by devoting all her efforts to studying and crushing him in grades. Then kiss him or some other romantic gesture to show that if his grades were ever important to her, it was only to catch her attention in the first place and isn't why she's into him. I don't think any match of scores between them has had her commit her full effort and not get distracted by Ishigami, meaning they haven't really had a truly conclusive match of scores between them.

Iirc, Academics are the one thing Kaguya actually takes seriously, which is why it pisses her off so much that she can't beat Shirogane at them.

But that wouldn't really solve anything either, and might put Shirogane down further since academics were the one thing he had over her.

I find it interesting actually because Shirogane isn't exactly wrong. When he actually was well rested and appeared somewhat normal, Kaguya was noticeably less attracted to him, which disturbed her greatly. He's just...going about it in the worst way possible.
