I'm terrified of the prospect of them being the next Comcast. Especially since people can make parallels between the two aside from the former's cable service being absolute horseshit.

Considering the popularity of Twitter I'm not sure why either of those companies being interested buyers should be surprising.

Bloomberg reports that Disney is working with an advisor for a potential takeover bid for Twitter.
Also to note: Jack Dorsey, Twitter's CEO, is on Disney's board.
