Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Heh, I like this. No fake-out, no last minute turnaround, only the plan, perfectly executed. That is a twist in itself. But yeah, putting Musica or Sonju on the throne might be an alternative, though not one Norman would agree with.
That page where Norman speaks the demon language is also confirmation that he understood every word Ayshe said. Not that there was any doubt about that.
I hope they make up a cool conlang in the anime, this scene wouldn't have the same impact if they just spoke Japanese all the way through.

In other news, TPN is getting a live-action movie.
Because what better candidate for a live-action adaptation than a story about children-eating demons.
I just realized this, the queen the broke the deal.
The deal she & her family followed was to give the best meat to God Squiggly, of which Norman is but she never had any intention too.
She wanted Norman for herself regardless of the deal & so she willingly broke it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yup, and I'm pretty sure scribble god knows that soooo I kinda feel like everything is going according it's will whatever it is
Makes you wonder what would happen to the Ratri family if they tried to back out.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHoly shit this is all according to plan.
Squiggly's ultra-level intelligence foresaw this & allowed Norman's rampage to go successfully as punishment.
So the only thing left is to stop Norman from committing genocide...... which may not be that hard as his troops are already on deaths door.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well yeah turns out having a very high IQ means nothing when the being you deal with transcends reality as one knows it in comparison.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Turns out trying to swindle a transcendental superbeing is a bad idea.
Disgusted, but not surprisedNorman’s IQ really does mean nothing in the face of a being who literally eats smart people like him for a yearly holiday feast.
The guys practically eaten hundreds possibly thousands of Norman’s already.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And he was already a transcended superbeing, so he only did it to deny the queen.
Then when she had the audacity to keep th best Normans of the Normans, he had said Norman bring about her doom.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Also dang I just realized I missed it the first time but the evil bitch literally murdered her father.
It's amazing how the greedy stupidity of one despot and her enablers literally lead them all to ruin.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Does Tifari occur every year? And could Emma's Promise be Squiggle's revenge?
All three f them were supposed to be offered up to Tifari back then. So I feel it's probably done after a set number of years.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.153!
Emma and Ray convince Norman of…… I'm not sure of what actually. He cries, admits that he's terrified, but as he says himself what he's done can't be undone, Promise or not.
Okay, this has been way too easy so far and it's unnerving me. Something is going to be really bad.
Secret SignatureI've seen rather negative reactions to this last chapter. I've seen mixed reactions for a while now, but this is the first I've seen them be unanimously negative
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysI haven't really seen unanimiously negative reactions, but there are lots of mismaimed pro Norman's genocide plan fans
Too many fans don't seem to get that Norman's genocidal plan is supposed to be seen as a bad thing.

Disgusted, but not surprisedYeah, I assume many are bummed that Norman shows actual weakness instead of staying an unmovable force of nature.
Personally I don't quite know what to do of this scene yet. It'll depend on where this goes.
…On another note, damn I didn't realize Norman had become this huge. He even towers over Ray, who isn't short. Maybe the drugs really did affect his growth.
I’m surprised the flunkies remained quiet throughout all this.
I at least assumed that the female twin would start screaming bloody murder at Emma for basically calling Norman a cowardly idiot right to their faces.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, she is in the process of bleeding to death. Maybe she doesn't have the energy.
Getting some Edelgard vibes from Norman in this chapter.
The negativity I've seen seems to be mostly opinions that Emma's arguments feel forced, that Ray feels too much like a side character and that the story has been feeling rushed since the first time skip
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysIIRC the author admitted that Ray was supposed to die in the Gracefield escape, and it shows: since then he's done absolutely nothing but serve as a sounding board for Emma.
Or maybe it turns out that Duke Lewis is actually still alive Though that'd be weird at this point
