(@Auron) Hastur: Well, "odd" is a fitting word... ~opens his eyes fully - those are glowing with yellow light and have non-Euclidean irises~

Roy: "I see."

Liberty: "Yeah, pretty much. Didn't expect to end up at a desert world of all places, one hell of a detour for myself." *sips.*

Cath: @Asagi: It's not a problem. And yeah. Pretty much by chance. Just kinda... Was on an expedition with Harrison. Butler. Really nice guy. Then we found some kinda large door. I decided, in what is probably distinctly not one of my brightest moves, haha, to go through. So, you could say, I'm... A fish out of water!

(Beat.)

Cath: Er, crap. That joke makes no sense right now. Haha. ^_^; @Roy: Nice to meet you, Mr. Spades.

Auron: -to Cindy- "As am I, though I'll admit I've never been able to...smell them. But my senses aren't what they used to be."

-to Hastur, his brow furrows- "...Hrrmph. Thought so. I could...feel you from here. Interesting. Your spirit is...overwhelming."

Cindy: Figure of speech, man.

Cath: @Asagi: Well, not technically, although I'm part fish-person.

Asagi: You're very forward about that. You must have one heck of a backstory to back that confidence up. >.>

Roy: "Likewise miss."

Auron: -to Cindy- "I know. Just...admiring your turn of phrase, I suppose."

-he takes another sip; wryly- "Don't suppose any of the casters you know wear dresses made from belts."

-then he turns to his left, and opens up a massive jug by his side, and pours the rest of his drink in there-

Cindy: Only the ones in the gentleman's clubs.

Cath: @Roy: Oh! Good point! I'll call them up immediately.

(She checks herself, her dress, and under her hat. And then she smacks herself aside the head.)

Cath: Ooooooh, dammit, I left it with Harrison. Ha ha haaaaaaaaamom is gonna be pissy. @Asagi: Er, ahem. I just prefer to be upfront with good people. And you seem like a good person.

Asagi: That's a far nicer opinion of me than I'd give myself. >.>

Buuuuuut never mind. Uh...you looking for a phone?

Cath: @Asagi: You got one?

Auron: -to Cindy- "Somehow, that makes me feel better."

-he orders...yet another drink-

-in fact, judging by the small stack of gil he just slapped in the table, he's ordered at least a few glasses- "...I'm curious. What possesses someone to come to a town like this on purpose?"

(@Auron) Hastur: You are sensitive, I admit, if you have managed to feel my presence. I thought I've grown so weak even a single cat won't notice. But well. ~smirks and shrugs~ And about casters, well, if some belts interest you, I've seen some like these. Only that they use belts to strap people to altars. Messy.

(@Cath) Hastur: Ain't your folks, like, Father Dagon and Mother Hydra? Somewhere deep? Had some... points of contact earlier. ... Also my name is Hastur, by the way.

Cindy: Someone with a lot of guns got it in his head that I owe him Gil.

Roy: "Should be a pay phone around here."

"And personally, I usually answer if people asked first if they're alright with me."

Liberty: @Hastur "For some reason, you felt....strange."
