Bartender: Is strong enough for Kobold. Eat and live mines, you know.

Combat

-The armored man, still dazed from the gunfire...is shot again, now leaking blood pretty heavily, making a very loud groaning sound-

-The fake ges jets right in front of Roy and kicks him at Mindy-

-...While troubador man plays unhelpful background music-

Roy: "Aaauuuggh!"

-Mindy catches Roy like a football-

-American football, none of that European shit-

Mindy: Oof! You alright there?

-she responds to her armored foe with a kick of her own-

Quartz: Hm... I wouldn't think such a lifestyle would increase their tolerance to alcohol that much, though...

Roy: "Yeah..."

-*The music definitely irritate him.*

"See that foppy douche there?"

-*Points at troubador man.*

"Throw me."

Mindy: Sounds like a plan to me.

-throws Roy at the bard-

Roy: *angles himself so he performs a flying kick like the ones he saw in action movies.*

Goblin: Is just how they are. In their bones.

Combat

-The troubador plays...then pauses when he sees Roy jump-kicking his way...and makes a muffled "Oh f-" before being booted all the way through the barrier, seemingly disappearing-

-The armored guy gets up, looking very annoyed-

Armored guy: Think those numbers are a bit too high here...we should change that up.

-He flashes his weird orb again before joining up with the shapeshifted sorceress, both raising their swords-

I rolled a 16.

Steamlord 42 begins moving towards the armored man, torch ignited. 42’s goal is to melt the man’s armor, exposing him to further damage.

-Mindy rolls a 15-

Roy: *9*

Combat

-The armored guy and the fake ges swing-

-The armored guy slices at Mindy and scores-

-The fake Ges deflects the flamethrowers and slices-

-...Both miss Roy by a hair-

Roy: *Well, you got his hat knocked off. Tapping his bare head, he flares up*

"Never touch my hat dammit!"

-*Blams at fake Ges. Boom and boom!*

Nova: ... Is this suposed to be 1 on 1....

-The fake Ges just glances at Roy, as the shots bounce off their chest. Good roll or not, it's the form of one of your strongest friends-

-...Then in a freak accident, Oliver's gun spontaneously backfires and a bullet shoots out right at the orb in the armored guy's hand-

-The armored guy only has a half-second to scream before the magic orb explodes, propelling everyone backwards from the force and sending the transfigured sorceress and armored guy out of the magic bubble-

-Meaning that as long as you guys can keep from getting pushed out of the ring...-

-Oliver is very confused-

-He is also very lightweight-

-The shockwave carries him quite a distance-

Nova: .... Guess not.

-She takes olivers pistol.... and attempts to kneecap fake ges as she goes flying backwards herself-

-she manages to hang on and stay in the ring-

-While Nova doesn't immediately see the effects of her kneecapping attempt, everyone is blasted out of the arena...except Mindy-

Back in reality

-They are all dropped back out of the temporary dimension back onto the same dirt road that they started out on-

-On the ground are the three adventurers. The troubador looks unconcious. The elven sorceress is clutching her bleeding knees. And the armored guy...does not look good as he tries to prop himself up-

Armored guy: ...Guess your luck's much better than ours was. You...you deserve the prize more than we do. Just...just remember...we might let you go...but our comrades...might think otherwise...

-He falls onto ground, laying still but raggedly breathing-

-Thankfully for all of you, the Goblin princess is there, just still tied up and gagged, and staring at a butterfly as it lazily flies along the side of a road-

Ges: someone find Oliver, and lets get out of here.

-Provided any of you were paying attention when the orb exploded-

-It would be pretty easy to figure out that Ollie was probably shot out of the magic field by the explosion of the orb-
