-ges probably avoids the lasso going for his head...because he just tripped over his own fuma shuriken that was thrown back into his path-

-thankfully he was smart enough to let go of the princess and roy when that happened so they didn't get crushed under him, but now he's face down in the dirt-

-Unfortunately for Interloper #1, Interloper #42 is commanding more of Oliver's attention at the moment, given they have somehow telepathically spoken to him despite the fact he's a robot-

-As such, Oliver stays on the move, keeps dodging Wraiths, but given he isn't capable of telepathy himself, and can't find any other possible communications link to talk to this new entity with, loudly shouts...-

Roy: *Rolls onto the dirt a few times before he faces up in the sky. He leaps back up, looking for the princess.*

-The ghostly hand fizzles out as it is shot at by Mindy and Oliver, its job seemingly finished. The wraith-like bandits, however, do not, seemingly content in blocking your path and hissing sinisterly-

-Roy sees the princess fairly unharmed, aside from getting a lot of dirt on her after Ges had wisely dropped her rather than crush her-

-...Although that might not be for long, as amidst the crowd of wraithlike bandits, the three adventurers they tried to gank are now running right up at a really fast speed, presumably to steal back the princess-

Oliver: OH!

YOU MIND TALKING OVER A RADIO FREQUENCY INSTEAD OF INTO MY BRAIN? PLEASE?

-With the hand dissipated, Oliver lands, looks around, sees more wraiths, then reloads his Devotion as he keeps moving-

-With enemies surrounding him on practically all sides there is no time for further tactical considerations-

Steamlord 42 (spoken): “Fine. But what is your name and function - I need to write this stuff down.”

42 notices the attackers surrounding the other robot, and begins hitting them with the welding torch attached to its arm.

-Nearly overwhelmed by the fact there is now another voice that sounds exactly like the one in his head a few seconds ago, while still dealing with legions of bandits, Oliver Stims-

-Whipping an Arc Grenade into a group of the wraiths with all the force of a record-setting fastball, he pulses off the ground with his Jump Kit and spins around to catch a glimpse of the newcomer and Steamlord 42, then makes assumptions about who has what voice-

-He tries to speak to them... of course, however, to ??? and 42, it comes out as a garbled mess of noise that sounds sort of like a recording of a human speaking, if it was sped up by a factor of twelve-

-Steamlord 42 will see his torch arms disintegrating the strange interlopers with a single swipe, but more seem to fill their ranks. One swipes at Oliver, and...he doesn't feel anything. Well, he might feel a bit of a weird chill, but his systems don't report any physical damage...-

-Roy helps the princess back to her feet...and finds a sword being held right by his neck by a very broad-shouldered armored individual. Who looks mad-

Armored Guy: Don't. Move.

???: You know what fuck it.

-She picks up a rock on the ground, goes "Aaaaaaaaagh" and activates her jumpjets.... what remains of them at least, one of them flaring up while the other stutters and burns out launching herself straight at the gaudy and attempting to bash his head in with the rock-

-Noting the very curious sensation of a hit without physical damage, Oliver stops and thinks for a moment-

-His blade legs find soil, the Stim runs out, and he stares for a brief moment while he ruminates on this (perhaps serving only to aggravate both of the people asking him for things further)-

-And then he decides to just bumrush straight through the wraiths-

Roy: "Shit...!"

-*He's now scared shitless, not making any movements.*

Steamlord 42: Can you talk slower? I’m not going to run three individual programs mid-battle.

42 begins a spin attack, using its torches as makeshift flamethrowers against the attackers.

-ges starts forcing himself up off the ground looking some what agitated for a machine with no face or ability to emote beyond the amount of light coming from his eyes-

-Oliver's berserker fury proves to be a valid choice, as every wraithlike bandit he rushes through disintergrates into dust as he rushes through. Though he feels like he is repeatedly being forced into a cold shower, he remains intact even as the wraithlike bandits try to intimidate him-

-The gaudily dressed man, who was chanting under his breath and playing his mandolin, hears soldier girl making a loud cry-leap...and swings his mandolin right at her, stopping his chant, and causing every single bandit to disappear. Now all that's there is several scorch marks from the shots fired, two fuuma shuriken stuck in the dirt, and three adventurers standing there, holding Roy impromptu hostage at the point of a sword-

Armored Guy: ...Gotta admit, you got us guys good there. Never expected you to use gold as a distraction.

-Leaving him free to breathe for a moment, and take stock-

Oliver: A lot of people have a nasty habit of understimating us. Last mistake they ever make.

-close welding_torch-

Steamlord 42 (spoken): “What do we do now? And I still don’t know who you are... any of you.”

-??? swerves her leap as she is swung at, bot avoiding the attack, but missing hers in the progress as she goes for throwing the rock-

-And then reaching down to draw and fire a pistol....-

-Except she has no pistol on her-

Roy: *Nervous laugh*

"Yeah...everyone got a price."

Ges: slave trading...

-The gaudily dressed guy gives a girly shriek as he holds his eye and hops up and down because wow a rock to the face on burned skin hurts a lot. The extravagantly dressed pointed-ear girl looks at ??? and points her staff at her-

Armored Guy: ...Look. Guys. This whole thing ain't nothing personal. And I'm pretty sure you're good at what you do.

But I'm also pretty sure that I could take your friend's head off faster than you can take off mine's.

...So I got us a more civilized way of settling our dispute.

Oliver: Then let's hear it.

Roy: *Gulp.*
