As usual, I don't get the Running Gag.
On other news: The SUD are approved. In fact we were discussing the need for a super police force besides TALOS (which is meant to fight terrorists and besides isn't truly an American organization.)
Similarly The Changelings will be approved as soon as Emily does some adjustments she requested.
And Kaalban thanks for the Leitmotifs Post I'll link it to the Signup Page soon.

Okay I realize there's a lot of duplicity going on but these feints within feints are confusing the hell out of me. What's going on with the Shadow fight?
Also, Umber, What the Hell Is That Accent?

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Wait, I think I had a serious misconception about Misty XD How old is she actually?
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Accent is French.
Umber threw three objects at Themystra in quick succession.
1. Is a stick-on taser. It was thrown like a throwing knife and could resemble one in its blurring shape. It was seemingly aimed for her heart but appeared to veer off. This is more of a really sick curve ball and is aimed right totally at her chest.
2. Is an actual throwing knife, chucked at her foot. The stick-on taser is supposed to look like a distraction for it but in reality is the other way around, not that Umber would object to chucking a knife in her foot.
3. She chucked a baby-fist sized rock at her face, just to add to the general confusion and just to be a dick.

College age. Let's say twenty.
Oh... then my first guess was actually right, kay~
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"So, now that Chickening has actually dealt with TALOS before it might be able to make Siren's transfer from this RPG into the other easier, if only by recognising the woman leaning on a nearby building.
FeEeEeEeEeD mEeEeEeEeE mY bLoGUmber might actually begin to crack under this double whammy, she's not built for contracted conflict.
So, Kosh turned out to be quite an effective villain, at least imo. What do you guys think?
Though I'm bummed out that no one reacted to the fact that Joseph killed Liz's sister.
Also, I'm expanding character page for RP. I'll try to add as many as possible.
EDIT: I have a proposal to make about character page. Should we categorize character by organizations? Under Hero/Villain category, of course.
I'll add them to the leitmotif post.

Everything that lives is designed to end.Time to vote on the Official Name for Not!Hydra, folks! Does this mean it may appear in-game soon? Maaaybe The possible names are:
- MINOS
- Hecatonchires ( "The Hundred Handed" )
- The Masters
- Fenris
- Deimos (Greek god of Terror- my own suggestion)
You have one week to vote!
Speaking of Concepts GOA cannot be arsed to copy/paste himself:
TALOS Organization
Field
TALOS has a completely normal Field and Intel department, befitting their role as one-part espionage and anti-terrorist organization. Field and Intel work closely together, with Field being effectively subordinate to Intel. Field doesn't have a department head, but agents are ranked on seniority. The most senior Field Agent is Antonio Denton, a 50 something Italian gentlemen renowned for his inability to die or accept retirement, earning him the moniker of Old Man Death. The top rated field agent is Zahara Bustani, an African woman touted as the Berserker because she totally killed like so many dudes that one time with a goddamn battle axe.
Intel
The men and women who handle the gathering and sifting of information for vital clues towards future terrorist attacks. Agents have been known to drift between this department and Field, as some agents are sent to gather intel on the field. For this reason, the two departments often fused in the minds of others. The head of Intel is Jeanette Montague, a French woman and master of knowing where all her subordinates are and what they're doing. Shannon Samson is the top rated agent, an American national and former "psychic" consultant to the local police, using her hyper analytical intelligence to squeeze facts out of a single glance, almost as if by magic. TALOS offered her a chance to use her talents at an even higher level of challenge, all without having to pretend to be psychic because it would offend all their actual psychics.
Accounting
The umbrella term for all the desk jockey bureaucrats that keep TALOS running as an organization, but they spread out all over the place. Colloquially, as a kind of joke, the director of TALOS is known as a the Head Of Accounting. Jose Sanchez, Mexican national, is jokingly referred to as the top rated accountant. Truthfully, he is a kind of master bureacacracy-fu and your standing with him strongly influence your ability to get anything petty done.
Magic
A group of mystic scholars, mostly armchair wizards who know a lot about magic but don't have any inherent magic themselves. Although, since a lot of magic is rituals, they can still whip together some mystical mojo. Morgan Ferry, African American, is the head of the department, a fierce man with a magic sword. He is capable of bullying every other mage into coughing up their secrets by his sheer inability to be impressed by their insistence that they hold knowledge man was not meant to know. No matter how many horrifying eldritch secrets he's learned, he's refused to be flinch. Abd al Alim, Egyptian, is the top rated mage not under the SHRD, a veritable mystical power house for a baseline human and the master of genuine, bonafide djinn. Along with SHRD and Psi, Magic makes up the trio of departments that form the Weird Triumvirate, as these departments were founded later on in TALOS's history to deal with the weird supernatural stuff not covered by modern, recognized science.
Psi
Like the people of magic, most of these are people of low level and baseline ability. Ming Zhiang, Chinese, is the head of the psi department. She has even less actual psychic ability than normal in this department, besides what she picked up by sheer exposure after her long years of studying and cataloguing psychic abilities. She knows precisely what each and every agent under her "care" requires to operate at maximum capacity. Harry Irons, American, is the top rated psychic of TALOS not under SHRD, with a top notch esper ability that constantly sends him horrific visions. He has to be medicated for anxiety and depression to continue operating. Some people want to merge Psi and Magic, but the rivalry that exists between psychics and mages constantly prevents that. The two departments maintain a working relationship, but constantly compete to see who can solve some kind of "weird" problem first.
Apparently "Morgan X Ming" is quite a few agents' OTP, even though it has no basis in reality. What no one except Jeanette and Shannon knows is that Abd al Alim and Harry Irons are totally banging.
Tech
Before the Super Human Resource Department was formed, the Tech Department existed. Therefore, besides Mr. Mad 3, quite a few people positively ID'd as super human artifisers and gizmatics are still sent to this department primarily then SHRD. Therefore, labelling the top rated agent is avoided. The Takenaka Sisters, Yumi and Kumi, Japanese, are twin women who have fiercely and jointly held on to their position as heads of the Tech department. Yumi is able to coral quirky inventors and absent minded professors and Kumi can assuage or override egos as needed. Together the both of them can ride rickshaw on their collective geniuses to put aside their individual neuroses and work together for the common good.
Tech existed before SHR, Psi and Mage, and a little bit of resentment exists for those departments stealing their thunder as department that produce the cool weird stuff. With Psi and Mage, Tech makes of the "Three Brains" department, something Intel holds a little bit of a grudge against.
Human Resource
Makena Cheboi, African Swahili, is the department head. A big motherly woman who has to make sure the personalities of various super powered beings, super natural peoples and train assassins don't clash into blood dripping off the walls. Her job is more stressful than people think.
Super Human Resources
Technically subordinate to Human Resources, its own entity in practice. Tasked with studying and cataloguing super human abilities not strictly within the domain of Tech, Mage and Psi, and seeing to it that the super human agents TALOS are well-treated and well-used. Robert Rothenberg is the well-known head of the SHRD.
I was hoping to rewrite it a bit, actually, but aw'ight.
Edit: As well as Not!Hydra, whatever their name.
edited 29th Apr '17 6:29:26 PM by God_of_Awesome
I like Hecatoncheires, personally.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world. It can still be rewritten, just tell me what changes you want.
Edit: rework Not-Hydra too if you want and post it once the Name is chosen.

I told Sijo I wanted to vote for Deimos over Skype but apparently I have to post it here.
So I'm voting for Deimos. Forgive my candidness but I've been run ragged all day and I'm in a foul mood. I apologize for the attitude.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I just feel better when people can see who voted by themselves. And its OK Thrall. We all have our bad days.
Ah, I haven't noticed.
I vote for Fenris, Deimos, or Hecatonchires.
Uh... please pick one.
Fenrir, then. Giant wolf that murdered Odin sounds like a pretty good namesake for a supervillain organization. Having a non-Classical Mythology namesake can help differentiate from Hydra, and maybe it can somehow get tied to Voron's mask.
I was gonna vote Hecatoncheires but holy shit that's a good argument.
And also I can remember how to spell it.
I agree with Emily. Fenrir is a great name.
So, Vigour makes his first appearance. He has the same powers as Jackson in Facility Kappa, except fully realised. However, his Killer Mode is actually equal to Jackson, even though he has trained it for several years. If Jackson starts training, he'll surpass him in no time.
borkYep Fenrir would be my vote as well due to... well Nordic Mythology :P
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"
Then The Shadow shows up and is like "MALOLOLOLOL"
