EDIT: Also, before I post, I will say this: when Kosh hops inside a person, not possessing that said person, he will leave something called a "Tear of Rage". It's basically a virus of some sort that makes victim go crazy and craving for blood..

But it doesn't last forever.

No, SUD is a bit more 'small potatoes' compared to TALOS. There shouldn't be any need for conflict between them, I think.

RE: SUD's: I woud say that overlaps with other concepts but I would also say there is still a way to make that work too.

Protip: Slaughtering a Copy in front of Valan and announcing that you don't care about your copies in front of Valan right after Valan warned you that things would go sour real quick if you killed the other Copies was not a good idea.

Cwest, I want to ask you something: can Kosh go inside you? I mean, he does represent rage, and Valan is in a state of rage... So, he would find Valan a perfect victim. But don't worry. He won't possess him. Kosh will just come inside and then go away, leaving a Tear of Rage... to another victim in the room (and it is my character who is going to suffer).

To be more elaborate, when Kosh leaves a Tear of Rage inside a person who has a resentment towards a specific person, he/she/it will target the person they hate.

Ooh, idea- since Valan is a Voidwalker, and not human, would it be possible for him to regain control for a few seconds while Kosh wrestles with him for control of his body or whatnot instead?

Although Kosh's powers aren't limited to humans, I think that's possible. Though... it won't be easy. That Tear of Rage will be persuasive enough to go berserk, even for a moment. Besides, he has the other target in mind...

And also, Tear of Rage is yours (or anyone's for that matter) to control. It isn't really Kosh himself. Just a tiny part of him.

So, the reason that 3 and 4 acted individually is because they were essentially doing what they were made to do. Which was to fill in Rine's place in the event he is out of commission. Now that Rine's back, they act under his will.

They do still have individuality, but only when Rine needs them to. Rine has grown fond of them though throughout the centuries, as they were part of the original group of Copies. He wouldn't kill them like the mindless ones.

So I'm going to justify that tackle with the fact that Liz and Kosh would probablyyyy have been a bit disoriented for a few seconds. If not, I can change it.

As for the Tear of Rage, Kosh screwed up on that one- he's FURIOUS with Rine, he doesn't hate him. At least, not yet. On the other hand, he DOES hate KOSH for provoking such strong feelings in him, along for making Rine kill Copy 2, and a host of other things.

Also Valan is PISSED. Good job xD

Anyhow, at the moment, I'm merely going through the player list of characters and adding them. I'm using alphabetical order so far. At the moment, no one has any tropes, but I assume that we'll fill that out later.

Alrighty, use the new one!

So Sijo brought up the possibility of the Spandexverse having its own Camelot (over in the Facility Kappa signup thread), since that's kind of a staple of comic book verses. I'm not well versed enough in Arthurian lore to do a full rundown, but I do have a few ideas.

Camelot was a coalition of Briton tribes who fought the Anglo-Saxons, led by Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and aided by Merlin, the Half-Human Hybrid wizard. Arthur nearly conquered Rome, but his treacherous son/nephew Mordred and Merlin's apprentice/ex-lover Nimue aided the Anglo-Saxons, leading to Camelot's fall and Arthur being taken to Avalon to sleep until Britain needed him most. He awoke during World War II, during which he fought Nazis (as a member of the Allied Squadron maybe?).

I have a suggestion: Unless you feel it would real make our version of Arthurian lore our own, let's not tie it into the Narrative Titans?

I know a *bit* of Arthurian lore, mostly from RPG sourcebooks. But I think it should still be useful. Let's review some legends and see how they fit in here:

-Merlin is the son of a woman and demon, who tricked her by taking the form of a man; however the baptizing of the child prevented him from growing to be evil, while retaining the potential for great magic.

-Merlin supposedly could see the future; among his visions were the future of King Arthur and the establishment of the Round table. He sets out to make these visions come true. Ironically, he either doesn't foresee the end, or assumes he can prevent it.

-King Uther Pendragon loses the throne due to treachery. He gives his infant son to Merlin to rise in secret until he's ready to claim the throne.

-Meanwhile, England falls into chaos. A sword appears on a stone, and it is said that only the rightful ruler can pull it out (note: this isn't Excalibur) Most likely this is Merlin's doing, both giving hope to the masses and setting up Arthur's coming.

-Eventually, the now-grown Arthur does pull the sword out. He doesn't automatically get acknowledged, tho. With Merlin by his side, he travels the land, gaining followers, building an army and overthrowing warlords. Along the way, the Lady of The Lake gives Arthur the more powerful Excalibur.

-Eventually, the Castle of Camelot is built, as is the Round Table (in case you didn't know, the shape is to provide equal sitting to all the chosen knights instead of having Arthur or anyone else sit at the ends.)

-Here's where things start to go wrong. Arthur marries Guinevere, but she eventually has an affair with the French knight Lancelot; Camelot is assaulted by the forces of Arthur's nephew Mordred (who in some versions is his illegitimate son with his own sister!) and Merlin, betrayed by his own assistant/possible lover, is magically sealed away, and thus cannot help in the final battle.

-Arthur and Mordred fatally wound each other in battle; Arthur however is carried away to Faeland until the day England needs him most.

So OK, first of all, I would prefer if we avoid the darker versions eg. no incest. What happened to Merlin should be decided by Emily and the player of the character who somehow ended up being his host. And I'm OK with Arthur waking up during WWII (it was the Hour of its Greatest need so far) but what happened to him afterwards?

Just so we're clear, that marks the Belladonnas' exit from the game for now. They can come back the next time we need an antagonist for an arc.

As for Arthur, I imagine he continued wandering the earth, righting wrongs, starting a new Round Table, searching for the Holy Grail, all that jazz.

Laurel is having a tea party with emanations of the Purple Wyrm's supporting cast.

Nothing bad will happen to her but she will made to constantly think something horrible beyond imagining will be done to her.

Eventually, she's let go no worse for wear except maybe some PTSD.

About Elizabeth... Please don't kill Elizabeth for now. I want to let her be... wild, to say the least. Only a while. Remember, Tear of Rage doesn't last forever. Also, I have some interesting interaction planned with Joseph. I've been waiting YEARS for this.

Oh, right. I got (a bit) panicked for a minute. Well... I do often get anxious for small reasons.

No one but the player can kill his or her own character. Plot Armor.

So, that part about Val'ark is supposed to be a Plot Hook, but whether you bite is up to you, Sijjo :D If not, I can handle it.

Also it is possible to survive a stab wound like that. Emphasis on "possible."

Well, in superhero fiction, anything is possible. Even coming back from the dead and shattering reality by punching it.
