I think it's late-morning/midday.
I have two ideas for additions to the history of American superheroes. If they're approved, I'll add them to the original post.
The Century Squadron
A group of superheroes at the turn of the century and The Edwardian Era, led by Gadgeteer Genius Professor Progress.
The Arcanum Majorum
A group of magically themed superheroes active in the late '60s and '70s. Big on mysticism, psychedelia, and various mind-altering drugs. Witch Hazel was a member during a time when she was trying to be a superhero, and she doesn't like being reminded of that because she loathes her former teammates. (That detail will be added to Hazel's profile if/when this is approved.)

<— Is sorry for being slow to post; twelve hour work-days and all have posted!
I like those two group ideas, personally. Totes throwing my vote for them.
I love Victoriana AND the 60s, so yeah! Please add them.

They'll be up by tomorrow morning!
Finally got around to posting something! Just so y'all know, I wasn't planning on having Emp immediately run into another character after this incident; this is more something for them to investigate. Plus I don't even know if Easton has a subway system, I just assumed it did.
And before anyone asks, yes, she was very much inspired by Larfleeze. :V
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."We all contribute to world-building here, don't worry. And yeah Easton having a subway makes sense and has all kinds of possibilities.
In the next few days I'll have the Easton Heights Casino fully planned out.
And then Deck will be looking for people to join in on the hesit.
The Decks don't accept help from superpowered individuals, do they?
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."Considering most of their base is about technique, skill, and proven and workable technologies. I have designed them to be a Normals Team.
However they may hire superpowered mercenaries to keep Superheroes off their backs. Especially since Easton has so many.
I've been considering redoing the Character Lists so that everyone's characters would be listed next to their names. Not only this clarifies who created what but it also helps remind the active players of the availability of alternate choices. Thoughts?
Note: players who have not been too active recently might be placed on the Inactive roster, though, so you might want to say Hey, I'm still on! now if you are.

I'm fairly certain I'm still here. Not sure how I'd be writing this if I wasn't. Just mildly preoccupied with schoolwork.
Question: Is Cassie about to walking into the department store, or is she leaving? Ignore that, I'm an idiot who can't read. :V
Does she live downtown, though, or further to the outskirts?

"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."Good Question! Probably further to the outskirts! Maybe! It's not really one of the things you think of when creating a character. I was mainly just trying to get her out of the action so I could switch characters.
So having someone interact with her was not on your agenda, then? :V
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."Not particularly, no. We're not supposed to play 2 characters at the same time. It gets confusing.
I figured as much.
On that note, where in the city is Winterbloom's? Hopefully not downtown; it'd get a bit boring having everything happen downtown. :V
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."Shrug
I heard downtown, but I don't know if that's set in stone. It's really up to Orthoclase.
I did not consider that. Let's go with uptown for location diversity's sake.
An artist looking for something weird in Hazel's shop for inspiration, huh?
And then there's this nearly story tall gent who looks like someone put an entire zoo, set to puree, baked the results in general man-shaped and layered a rainbow glaze over the top.
That depends, does Mongrel still have his coat on? Pollutrix could definitely sense his aura, what with her powers being magical in origin, but she's nowhere near versed enough in magic to see through his glamour.
The hat was destroyed and it was a key component of the enchantment.
Oh yeah. You'd think I'd remember that, seeing as I'm the one who destroyed it. In my defense, I've destroyed a good many miscellaneous articles of clothing.
Uh wait, so Simon should have seen Mongrel's true form? I did not realize that. Should I edit? (Then again, I think it would be careless of Mongrel to go around without a disguise of some kind.)
Hm, the coat might have enough residual enchantment to work with effort, perhaps?
The coat had a "Don't notice me" enchantment but one that parts instantly once someone does pay attention, like if he draws attention to himself. The hat had a "Don't notice anything weird about me" enchantment, but it's gone now. Together, they melded into a greater whole that strengthened both.
With just the coat, Mongrel had to duck and weave and skulk his way through town.
Say, what time is it in-RP? Is it nighttime?
