Yu Narukami was sitting casually in his room inside his parent's house in Tokyo throwing darts at the wall. There's been nothing interesting around here lately. I have no Midnight Channel to check, there's nothing to really do inside the TV anymore and there's been no new mysteries to get involved in. The City's been big enough to help crush a few people's spirits but...I miss Inaba. That rural town may have been lacking in people but it was an adventure I don't get here. Only good thing is I don't see the Junes commercial anymore...I wish I could find Namatame in the TV world. He's likely dead by now but still...Nanako...

Yu shakes the cobwebs out of his head as he starts to stand up to pull the darts out of the dartboard. Suddenly he feels an almost forced blink and when his eyes open he finds himself within the parking garage of sorts. Yu looks around at the chaos and the burgeoning violence and smiles. Not yet. Don't let the Mystery die before it even begins. Why am I here? What purpose do we serve? How can you see the crushed soul in their eyes the purest? And lastly...how do you keep them around? Yu walks over to the Green Armored man and tries to help him stand up. His Japanese accent may be noticed despite the many factors helping the SPARTAN translate Yu. "Looks like you had a nasty crash. Are you ok? If you made the wall look like that, you must feel like someone's liver after one or two rounds of King's Game."

That title, and the name that followed it had been a shock to Ami. Her expression, formerly one of vaguely amiable disinterest, sharpened into one of suspicion and aggression. Everything except this person who knew far more about her mother than he should seemed to fade into the background, even the sudden sounds of Lady opening fire on Spawn.

If he'd just said Medea, that would have been fine. But he'd said Caster first. That meant he knew about the Grail War somehow. And to Ami, that meant he couldn't be trusted.

"Aero!" She declared, simultaneously swinging her arm forward. The raging winds rose again, but far more focused this time, in the direction she'd pointed her arm: towards Shirou. The sudden burst of wind was intended to slam him against one of the walls of the room and keep him there. With the state he was clearly in, Ami figured it wouldn't take much effort.

The girl stalked forward as she cast the spell, moving towards the expected point of impact.

"How the hell do you know about that? Who are you?"

400km Off the Coast of Iceland, 1968
"Mother was right about one thing — I have been watching you, Father, studying the way you have treated others, and now I know who I am. I am free. After everything that Mother has done to me I am alive and sane enough to be curious about the sun. When you rescued my new Sisters, I felt every one, and it gave me hope for the first time in years. Now I will rescue you in kind, and do the same for all the others. If Utopia is not a place, but a people, then we must choose carefully, for the world is about to change, and in our story, Rapture was just the beginning."

As the ADAM-filled needle was jammed into Delta's chest, the miraculous substance restoring the vitality to a body that had been on the brink, the Big Daddy suddenly felt as if the world itself were collapsing in on itself...

The... Underground Parking Garage?
The first thing Delta noticed was the distinct lack of pain. Chest, face, arm, leg, other leg, abdomen, mind - all felt terrific. Better than they had all week, even. All in all, at the moment Delta was the picture of Alpha Series health... aside from being sprawled out on the pavement as if just having gotten hit by a truck. Firmly pressing both hands on the ground, the several hundred pounds of flesh and metal echoed as Delta stood upright.

The second thing Delta noticed that there seemed to be several other people nearby - dozens, it seemed - and that they were all now in what appeared to be a concrete parking lot. They definitely weren't in Rapture anymore, that was for sure.

The third thing was a voice speaking over her suit's radio. It didn't sound like anyone who had been communicating with her in the past, of that she was certain. "Who is this? Explain how you have this frequency," she said in reply over her radio, although unfortunately nobody would be able to hear her voice aside from whoever was listening at the other end of her radio, and more than likely watching from her camera as well.

The fourth thing Delta noticed was a small boy. A small boy surrounded by a disparaging-looking group of individuals with plenty who looked as if they were from a warzone, and at least a few who looked as if they wanted to create a warzone. This may not be Rapture, but a protector was still a protector. The monstrous Big Daddy lumbered towards the boy, taking quick steps that rumbled in the concrete.

Delta stopped a yard away from Conan, feet firmly and loudly planting themselves in the ground, fully intending to serve as a veritable wall between the boy and whatever horrors of the world may seek to harm him. Visible electricity crackled on Delta's left hand, while the right hand held firmly onto the suit's drill, the tool-turned-weapon's metal surface stick coated with bits of blood and gore from the countless splicers it had killed over the past few days. And finally, of course, Delta needed to make sure to let the others know it would be in their best interest to back away from the child. Standing at the ready, Delta roared out a loud, strong warning.

The sweary schoolgirl's lips part, but I know what comes out won't be a dirty word. My mind clicks into overdrive. Time turns to treacle. She breathes in, painfully slow. I charge my Magic Circuits, cocking all twenty-seven mental hammers in a neat row. Electric-green paths run down my arm like lines on a subway map.

Two - no. One sword.

Judging concept of creation. Hypothesizing basic structure. Duplicating composition material.

White and black.

Imitating skill of making. Sympathizing with experience of growth. Reproducing accumulated years.

Curved like a drop of dew in the moonlight.

Excelling every manufacturing process-

I take the image by the hilt and draw it from my mind. My hand glows with a blinding liquid light, blue as the sky.

"Aero!" she cries. I can only respond with an invocation of my own.

"Trace… AGGGGH!"

It feels like I have two left arms, tangled like broken vines, each with its nails dug into the palm of the other. It also feels scrapy and gratish, like someone is using rusty wire to floss through the arm-twistie at the marrow. The image shatters. The sword vanishes. The wind picks me up and slams me against the wall.

My not-arm hurts more. I think my lip is bleeding. I don't scream, but as I fall to the floor I feel it building up inside of me like a wad of phlegm.

Of course, I land on my face again, so it's a bit muffled. It mixes a bit with the other guy's shout. Sure is loud around here.

Ow. Ow.

"I'm… my name is Emiya Shirou," I grind out, once my voice comes back. "I was a Master in the Fifth Holy Grail War. You look like Caster. What does that have to do with anything?"

My right arm gives way again. I flop.

"And I told you, stop swearing. It's not… nice."

Dick glanced over his shoulder, getting a brief look at the newcomer. The guy was about his age, with an ugly looking mop of hair, and an outfit slightly reminiscent of a man called Nightwing. Some wannabe punk trying to emulate a b-list supervillain, and yet he was spouting some gibberish about a man named Mr Nygma busting out of Arkham. Maybe there was a whole crew of these jokers, and he thought Dick was one of them. Dick decided to see if the mistaken identity held up long enough for him to get his answers the easy way.

"Well, why not take a guess?" Damian would find the voice horribly familiar, and when the purple suited man hobbled around to look in his direction, he came face to domino masked face with a man who should be four years dead. "You seem to know me well enough."

Mitsuhide glanced at the horned woman — no human he knew had horns, so that was worrying – but she seemed... well, not amiable, at least not immediately hostile. She seemed to count, so he nodded and prepared to pull the weirdly-armoured person out of the wall on her mark, but then the Aero hit.
The samurai lost his balance. He threw himself sideways, rolling on the floor and coming up with his legs slightly apart and bent at the knees; his left hand was on his sword's scabbard while the right hovered near its handle, the man stuck in the wall forgotten.

The combined efforts of the Samurai and the Mesoamerican god (with morale support from Spawn, and a bit of Ami's Aero) pulled the armour-clad soldier out of his hole in the wall with an uncharacteristic pop. And as he came out, he fell on his head.

"Thanks." Tucker said, as he picked himself and dusted himself off. His helmeted gaze focused on Susan for a moment, before he shrugged and shot her the finger guns. "Hey girl. My name's- DUCK!"

Tucker dropped to the ground in a crouch, slamming his fist into the concrete in the process. As a result, a domed energy shield expanded from him, enveloping Mitsuhide, Susan and Spawn (and anyone else around them). Lady's rockets and bullets crashed against it, being robbed of all energy and exploding harmlessly. Once the barrage had ended, the shield dropped.

"Hey! Why-"

"EVERYBODY STOP FIGHTING! Lady, stop shooting at Spawn. Ami, stop interrogating Shirou. Nightwing, Riddler, stop squaring each other up. Marco, you should probably go human, telepathic communication is awkward." Came a voice reverberating around the parking garage. If anyone was paying attention, they would see it was coming from a combination of the building's remaining intercom systems and what was left of the home entertainment suite.

"Dan, next time? Get me the intercom first. Half of them don't have communication devices."

"What the fuck?"

"Everybody settled? Alright, my name is Will Aryl and I'm with an organization called the Center for Universal Survival. We're the reason why you're here- Please, let me explain before you start asking questions."

"This isn't your universe. We've taken you out of your home universes. Yes, we should have asked your permission, yes, some of you have really important things going on right now. Those just weren't options to us. I promise you, when you go home, you'll go back to the second that you left."

"But you're here because we need your help. My universe is on the brink of destruction. Tears in the fabric of our reality caused by multiversal travel have rendered the universe unstable. At best, we have a decade left before the universe rips itself apart. At worst, it could happen any second."

"Even worse, the universes that you come from are unstable too. Orders of magnitude more stable than ours, you have billions of years before approach even a one in a million chance of collapsing, but it's still a threat."

"So, we need you to help us. Billions of lives are at stake here. And only you guys are in a position to fix this."

Scott furrowed his brow, deep in thought. Strangely dressed people, almost like comic book superheroes or those weird japanese animes with their girly boys, with powers. A mysterious voice telling them they'd been dragged from their worlds for unknowable reasons. Threats to reality. What did they all mean...

A light flickered weakly on in Scott's head. He looked up at the ceiling. "So... what you're saying is... this is like one of those crossover fighting games, and we're going to have to all beat each other up?"

Reimu Hakurei, Incident Resolver, had seen plenty of strange things in her life. But waking up in a ransacked parking garage surrounded by an assembly of colourful characters was pretty high up there. On the other hand, she wasn't tied up and no one was pointing a weapon at her. Yet.

She got to her feet just in time to hear the voice over the loudspeakers explain the situation. Now, Reimu was no astronomer, but she understood she was a long way from home, and people needed her help. So, not a lot had changed.

A quick inspection of her equipment confirmed that not only had she brought the Gohei, but also the Yin-Yangs. The pistol was neatly tucked away in the holster under her left arm, while the revolvers were in their hip holsters. And going by the comfortable weight of her coat, she packed enough heat for a while. Now all she needed was...ah, here we go.

Producing a battered pack of cigarettes and a cheap lighter from her pockets, Reimu lit herself a cigarette and took a couple of drags as the others sorted out their differences. Then, when her own nerves were starting to calm down, she adressed the voice speaking to them.

"Alright then, mr. Aryl," Reimu said, even surprising herself with the calmness of her voice. "Where are we, and what do you need us to do?"

<Ape. I'm an ape.> I sighed - and it was then that another lady nearby pulled out an submachine gun -an actual bullet gun - and started waving it around, demanding to know the source of the mysterious telepathic voice. Odd - none of them had ever heard thought-speak yet?

Where was I?

<Calm down. It's me. The gorilla.> I waved- a delicate little gesture with my massive gorilla fists- and loped towards her, keeping one hand up in the hopefully-universal gesuture of surrender. <I'm not going to hurt you... I'm not actually a gorilla. Well, most of the time I'm not. Long story.>

That was when a voice cut in over the intercom, trying to get us to calm down and work together. I wasn't particularly inclined to demorph anytime soon - I was stranded in a strange place, surrounded by costumed weirdos who looked like they'd jumped out of the back of a cheap comic book rack, and now I was going to have to work with them? I had enough trouble on my plate already, and if things started getting wild I'd rather have a few hundred pounds of gorilla backing me up. <Sorry if I'm not going to take the advice of a faceless guy who kidnaps people just like that,> I said, settling down on my haunches.

Then the voice started going on about universes and crises and everything that I really, really didn't want to hear. Unstable universes? Great. Not only did I have to worry about the sake of my planet, now I was going to have to worry about the fate of my entire universe.

<Did I ever tell you that you remind me of a guy I used to know?> I asked the nearest intercom. <Because that guy really had a way of getting on your nerves.>

No need for a repeat of last time, that's for sure...

"I'd ask you to be more gentle with your queries. The boy's right, you know, partly. You're letting your uneasiness get the better of you."

Leaning on a ransacked wardrobe just near Shirou and Ami, the flimsy, rotten thing somehow having not been destroyed from the impact Shirou had made being slammed against that wall, was a woman out of time. Well, was that appropriate? All these individuals seemed to came from various different eras, they were all 'out of time'. Even so, the redhead in the pristinely white bell-bottomed disco one-piece, with a white, spiked choker around her neck and a ball and chain tied around her leg might've stood out. She curled her lower lip as she noted that she looked like a rock band, a torture dungeon and the seventies all threw up on her compared to these folk.

Only a moment ago, this woman had appeared out of nowhere. With her arms folded in front of her and her eyes closed as she rested on the wardrobe, she seemed unfazed by her strange situation. That she analyzed the circumstances she faced and decided that her number one priority was to look cool and mysterious said quite a bit about her.

"Either way, I'd advise you settle your scores later, after we get our answers."

The voice heckled the Alternates. A man named Will, and his apparent assistant Dan. As Will explained the situation, the woman found herself intrigued. Multiversal travel was definitely science-fiction, yet her science-fiction was clearly somebody else's reality. And the fact that said reality was killing the universe, that human progress came once more at the expense of the world, well, she supposed that some things just never change. Constants and variables, she'd read someone call them.

"Mister Aryl? I'm personally all on board to help someone in need, but...it's not that I'm angry or anything, but I find your apologetic tone falling flat in the face of the innocent children you dragged into your game."

Her glare was aimed up at nothing in particular, for there was a lack of identity to attach that voice to at the moment. As for the innocent children in question, there was the little doll-jointed boy, the two high schoolers, and also...

"You can come out of hiding, no one's going to hurt you. I'm sure."

Her smile seemed directed at no one. No one but Shizuka. The woman wondered if she was the only one to notice the young girl who had willed herself to vanish right in the middle of this debacle. Probably a reaction to the stress.

So their captors were magicians. How else did they speak to them while being present elsewhere? It was, after all, a favourite trick of Da Ji's. And they wanted them to help them, after kidnapping from their homes? The gall. At least Orochi, Mitsuhide thought, wanted strong opponents. The Serpent Demon didn't look for help.
"I refuse," he said flatly. "I have a duty to Lord Nobunaga. It is for him that I am willing to put my life on the line. You are naught but dishonourable cowards, kidnapping others to fight your own wars."
The Samurai glanced around, ready to draw his sword. Surely they would take offence and attack, and he was prepared to go down fighting.

Lady-A racist against demons (AKA Demonist)

Lady frowned in annoyance as Tucker shielded the demon with.....she really had no idea. Some orb? What?

"Hey, you moron, get out of that thing before he rips you apart!"

Before she could take further action, the intercom went off and explained the situation. Lady had a number of things to say to this asshole who thought he could just yank her off of her world and start ordering her around. However, they would have to wait, as there was one pressing issue she had to settle now.

"You know who I am. Fine, I can accept that. What I won't accept is being told to let this demon run around slaughtering us. I'm not sure what the hell you're thinking, sending one of the most blatantly evil looking demons I've ever seen here along with us, but if this is your idea of a joke, we are going to have a problem."

It had not quite occurred to her yet that this demon had yet to take any hostile actions.

It was hard to tell what the tipping point for all of this insanity had been, but it was probably about the time that woman pulled out a rocket launcher and thought it was a good idea to fire it off in an enclosed space like this. Between that and that one really pissed off woman flinging wind everywhere, it was a wonder that no one aside from the one-armed guy was hurt. That barrier the sci-fi suit of armor brought up was pretty slick, but still added on to show the young joestar just how bizarre this situation was.

Shizuka backed up against a wall to try and get out of the way and make sure she would not get caught in any crossfire while she processed what was going on. An act getting increasingly difficult as a voice repeatedly assailed her mind and brought with it a profound feeling of her personal bubble being destroyed. Unfortunately for the invisible girl she chose to hide against the same wall the one-armed hobo was very abruptly flung into. He managed to miss her by only a few feet.

It was getting increasingly hard to keep her Stand in check under all of the confusion and stress that the situation was putting her through. An observant person might notice that when Shirou hit the wall, a perfectly circular section of the wall about 6 feet to his right suddenly vanished, allowing them to see to the other side. It was more likely though that everyone was distratced by the voice on the intercom coming on to explain the situation to them.

It was weird, Shizuka had expected an explanation of what was going on to calm her down, but it did the opposite. It just pissed her off now. They expected a girl her age to just look at being kidnapped to do who knows what and say 'okay' simply because they claimed it was for the good of the universe? It would have been kind of funny if she hadn't just been in the same room as a god damn rocket launcher being fired. This Will guy was expecting a level of trust that was frankly mind blowing.

Her plan to remain silent and hope no one noticed her was dashed as soon as someone told her to come out of hiding. Well, it wasn't specifically at her, but it was hard to imagine there was anyone else around who was invisible in a corner. Despite her weird appearance and ball-chain combo on her ankle, the woman seemed to be alright. She was at least speaking up for some of the younger people here, Shizuka included.

The young Joestar hesitated, but figured at this point the cat was out of the bag and there was no reason to stay hidden. She slowly faded back into being visible, brows furrowed and back up against the wall, figuratively and literally. She had no target that she could direct her glare at, so the young girl just settled for a spot on the ceiling she thought that the voice had come from. "Seriously! You say its for saving the universe or whatever, but then grab kids and a cripple? You kidnap a lot of people and just expect us to believe you when you spout crap about tears in reality or whatever?" Shizuka demanded. She was doing a good job of keeping up a tough act. It must have been the sunglesses.

If this armored man's reaction to seeing her didn't wake her up, the explosions afterward certainly jolted her awake. It was only at that point when she truly realized the situation. Here she was, in a room full of strangers, with no idea where here is, and she wasn't exactly properly human-looking right now. She was tempted to simply open a tear and crawl back home, but that would only break the masquerade even harder. She would have to convince all of these people that she was literally anybody but herself, if her company's reputation was to sta-

Luckily for her, someone decided now was the best time to tell her that she wasn't in the right universe. If that had any granule of truth to it, that was probably the single biggest issue out of the way. Susan let out a sigh of relief as she heard this.

The lesser issue was that she was still kidnapped. She had an idea that multiple universes existed, but even back in the golden days of her youth she and her friends hadn't ever visited one, much less peek beyond the veil between them. Of course, it would only matter if this was true. Not entirely sure where to address the intercom, she looked every which way as she asked, "Do you have any way of proving you're not lying to us? That's a lot of information to accept at face value, Mr. Ayrl."

Then, a woman at the other end yelled at her impromptu group, and Susan remembered that she just shot at her. Never one to get angry at such minor things, she tried doing what she did best. Politeness!

"I'm sorry, Miss, but we're all fine over here! Just look at us, we-HE'S not a demon. He's just..." Susan looked the man over, stopping mid-sentence as she realized he certainly didn't look like an upstanding member of society, let alone human. Man, maybe she should've chosen someone else to defend. "...He's just a little bit odd looking, but he's fine!" She lightly patted the black monster on the back, secretly hoping that he wouldn't try and bite her arm off.

Conan was even more confused than when he had started. He had just barely gotten some notes finished when all the gunfire started. At which he had proceeded to run around the strange parking lot in attempt to avoid it. Which he had done a rather decent job of since he wasn't the target. Still, now he was more confused than ever. Reality tears? Collapsing universes? Demons, guns, a person with only one arm, a ninja, some woman meditating? Who were all these people?

If there was ever a moment since waking up on that cold metal table in that laboratory where he loathed the fact that he didn't have a voice...it was now.

Quickly he scribbled down questions, any he could think of right then.

How am I supposed to help you? I didn't even have a name a couple weeks ago until the weird lady gave me one. I'm just a ball-joint doll that's...apparently a detective, I think is what she called it? How, by any measure, am I any use for you to kidnap? Furthermore, how are we actually supposed to help you fix this? This sounds extremely out of average league...

Of course, he couldn't voice these questions, and he honestly didn't know any of these people. Would any of them mind giving him a voice? Half of them looked really...unworldly. And the fair majority of them looked like they could shred him without a thought. Then again...he did know his body was pretty durable, but he knew it wasn't that durable. He began peering through his fake glasses at all of the life around him, unsure of who he could approach at all.

//What am I supposed to do? They want me to help with some sort of reality tears and collapsing universe? Who are all of these people? And what use am I supposed to be to this?// was all he could think to himself.

Conan kept himself in one place for now, still nearby the others, but where he was hopefully not going to get...shot or anything. So he could hope, at least. All he knew was that he needed to find someone to trust, and he needed to find them quickly. But...who?

And in this heart, our bond cannot break. From here to the end and back again I will stand sharp. The light in me will guide you home...

Jory was about to continue questioning the odd armoured woman when the gunshots and fighting started. It was inevitable, but at least he'd hope it would have been less noisy, both for his and Eorl's sake. He turned away from the woman saying "Never mind then" and marched up to break up the conflict. That is until a bodyless voice began trying to do it for him. At first he was a tad relieved that some semblance of authority had made itself manifest in there but as they talked less was the veteran knight pleased, and more his brow furrowed. There were already people voicing their complains and concerns up to the voice from the ceiling. Yet the one that resonated with him the most was of one young woman who seemingly faded into being after the announcement. While it was disorienting and shocking to Jory it didn't show, concealing his reactions was second nature to the man. All the demon talk was also worrying him, if there was one such as the one inside his old pupil unleashed then they were all in danger. And yet what he saw was called a demon was just an odd looking man. His own reservations about the current situation were already handled by other people. Right now breaking up the conflicts was more important, like so he approached the lady that had been shooting at the aberrant looking man.

"I don't believe this is any sort of joke lass" said the knight quite bluntly, even if this does seemed to him like the kind of cruel cosmic he often ran into "What does seem to be the work of a fool and a coward is to lob explosives in close quarters to a what you only think is a foe and he isn't even armed. We're all filled with vinegar and piss but its no excuse to behave like child and do something that could get us all killed" It would all be rant and sermon-like if Jory didn't keep his own bored and calm tone as he talked.

Dick looked up to the ceiling at the voice emanating around them, and all the mysteries became clear, except not really. Several members of the surreal entourage began voicing their various objections and follow up questions, and far be it from the Riddler to not include a query or two of his own. "Uh, hi," he butted in. "Yeah, I'd like to second all those questions Well, maybe not grey guy's over there Fighting games? Seriously? Plus, a little question of my own here: So, I get your universe is getting ripped apart by multiversal travel, really, I sympathise very deeply. Then you're saying that the only hope of fixing this problem...is through more multiversal travel? Is that what you're saying here?"

Delta's presence had definitely startled Conan at first, overall having failed to understand that she was trying to protect him. Now he understood. Nodding calmly now, he quickly climbed onto her offered shoulder gratefully. Once sat down, he wrote down more stuff on his notepad, underneath all of his questions.

Thanks. I can't talk, but I can write. I really appreciate the safe shoulder...

He then held it out, trying to show it to Delta, in order to attempt to communicate. Then again, he wasn't even so sure if she could respond back. But he was thankful someone was watching out for him here.

Saint Walker had simply been patrolling space, listening in on the communications his new ring picked up. The blue power pulsed within him, just as it radiated externally. He'd contemplated the meaning of hope much since he gained his power; appropriately enough, he was now the only hope for the rest of the emotional spectrum. With the other lights dormant, he couldn't just seek out people with strong potential as the rings had used to so he was limited to the old-fashioned way. For a while now he'd been eavesdropping on communications (he was sure they'd understand), following legends and speaking to whoever would listen but he was yet to find anyone strong enough.

Underground

And then, he was not. Saint Walker had already been floating so his landing was more graceful than most. While he got his bearings, however, chaos broke loose. His ring buzzed with the incoming communication and he listened carefully to the follow-up message.

"While I agree that it would have been better to simply ask our help, the situation seems dire. Of course, if you can elaborate on what you need I'm willing to help.

He needed to reignite the spectrum but if the entire multiverse was at risk, that took precedence. He took a look around the room and inspected those who were so rudely assembled. Mostly Terrans, which was interesting; Earth certainly created a lot of drama. One looked faintly familiar; perhaps one of the heroes he had met on visits to Earth? Another, however, was troublesome; a yellow lantern. He sensed the power of fear immediately but it felt different somehow. He summoned the white lantern and peered inside but Parallax was still dormant. There was a weak connection - yellow was yellow after all - but there was no risk of it waking up. He'd hoped he would find someone a bit more reserved to wake up fear.

Delta read the notepad and gave a low, affirmative grunt before standing back up. Satisfied that the child would be safe for now, the next priority would be keeping things that way. She saw another armored figure who seemed to also be a protector of sorts, if that watery... bubble... it used to shield itself and the others around it was any indication. Although, given what the woman with the large launcher seemed to be shouting about, she was also trying to protect the others from someone that it thought was a threat. It didn't seem to be very threatening at the moment, but she couldn't dismiss the woman's suspicions either, just in case.

Still... in the interest of not being on the receiving end of any explosions, she slowly plodded her way on a curved path to stand a few meters behind and to the side of Lady, allowing her to be in the opposite direction of any rocket fire while at enough of an angle to also be out of the path of any potential return fire.

And if the voice on the radio were any indication, these were all supposed to be allies.

Carmilla & Sypha, A Discordant Melody

The vampire countess and her servant had returned to this place... the ruins of the coven that had taken her in and that, save for her servant, was wiped out to the last man, woman, and child. Dracula was dead, that much was certain. However, what was also certain was that Dracula would rise again in a century, and that no Belmont would face him. The Belmont line died with Trevor and died in the battle with Dracula. As fellow vampires, he and her servant would live to see his rise again, and there would be nothing preventing Dracula from killing her. Her servant was in thought, obviously still distressed about the destruction of all she had known. The countess grabbed hold of her hand and tried to comfort her, which led to a smile on her servant's face and a sudden, surprise hug from her.

Carmilla & Sypha, Location Unknown

The vampire countess and her servant noticed that they suddenly appeared in a place unfamiliar to them. Instantly, they broke off the hug and readied their defense. Carmilla had her sword out and Sypha had her own staff in a defensive position. At the moment, their eyes seemed to had been drawn to the attempt at "Lady" to fight "Spawn." After all, it was a demon and a demon hunter... There was bound to be a fight between them. However, the fight was interrupted before it even began, and then a voice blared through the area explaining why they had been taken. Carmilla glanced at Sypha, inadvertently putting her arm around her. She didn't mind being taken from her former predicament... If Dracula can't get to her, then the world will remain relatively safe. However, what she was mad about was being brought to a universe on the brink of destruction. And "Lady" was still being bitchy about "Spawn"!

Carmilla pointed a direction out to Sypha, who nodded as she left Carmilla's grasp, before the vampire countess glared at Lady.

"Shut up, Lady!" Carmilla snarled at the demonic demon hunter. "The only one trying to slaughter someone right now is you!"

As Carmilla yelled at Lady, Sypha silently positioned herself for a good shot against Lady should she try to continue to attack or attack Mistress Carmilla.

The grunt satisfied Conan, answering his statement well enough. For the moment though, he was looking around at everyone. A woman with a launcher and all of these different persons, creatures, and people in gigantic metal suits. Such as him being on the shoulder of this armored one now. But everything had him confused for the moment, so he held his place and resumed taking notes on everyone. The higher vantage point upon the shoulder gave him a much, much easier time doing so too.
