Crap, I just ran into my first silver enemy. Holy hell do they soak up the damage.
-Witty line-Wait 'til Master Mode when you meet Gold enemies. They practically consume weapons.
Fighting two Lynels at once, no big deal.
Is this thread also for Breath of the Wild too?
...(Looks at title) Might be.

Sure.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. No real reason to split one off for the sequel at this point. Maybe down the line, if it gets a lot of discussion specific to it — but even then it might not need splitting if people don't mind.
So I got a bunch of amiibo cards in place of actual amiibos, because fething hell, those are expensive! So I was gathering up all my armor sets and then I realized: it takes a Star Fragment EACH UPGRADE to EACH RANK for the amiibo sets. Like....the heck? That's an insane amount of Star Fragments. I think I'm gonna pass on 4-starring all the amiibo armor sets, that's a bit too much grinding, worse than the dragons.
The easiest way to get money quickly is to farm Rare Stone Taluses for gems then sell them to the Gerudo in Goron City.
Heart of StoneOr you could farm Dragon Horn at Riola Spring for 600 rupees a minute, but that requires good aim and gets boring quickly.

I want to try fighting a Lynel soon. I have the master sword and ancient gear set. How exactly should I fight this thing?
Probably should learn to dodge.
Practice, practice, practice.
Go to the Great Plateau and practice dodging and flurry rushes. Upgrade your tougher armor sets, make some durability meals/potions, and practice on the Red Lynel at Ploymus Mountain. Eventually you'll get the timing down.
Once you've mastered fighting Sword Lynels, you can prepare fighting Spear and Crusher Lynels. For those, you'll rely more on Perfect Shields instead of flurry rushes, so also practice those on weak enemies first. Even if you can't Perfect Shield yet, keeping your shield up will block a lot of their worst attacks, and most should last a decent length of time until you get to Crushers.
Stasis+ is a useful tool for freezing Lynels when they do a move you can't quite counter yet. Also take Mipha's Grace (or Mipha's Grace+ if you have The Champion's Ballad) and fairies.
Prepare your weapons ahead of time. Lynels have a lot of health and it will increase as their levels rise. Eventually you'll be burning through at least two or three weapons per Lynel. The Master Sword without upgrades won't last very long.
Shooting a Lynel in the face with arrows is very helpful, and using one of their multishot bows to do so makes it pretty easy. If you're fighting them in a grassy area, their fire breath will create updrafts that you can ride to get lots of slo-mo arrows in their face.
Lastly, do not fight a Lynel in a thunderstorm. Or on horseback. It will not go well.
Good luck!

Updrafts from their fire attacks let you spam ridiculous amounts of bombers arrows. A warning- this will obscure them from view, and may or may not stem them. Be ready to land and see a mountain of muscle charge out of the flames at you.
Be careful. These things don’t believe in second chances.
“Always expect the worst. That way you can never be disappointed.” - John FlanaganI'd also advise packing a lot of hearty, mighty and/or tough foods before the battle. A high-level Lynel's attacks do a ridiculous amount of damage and it won't require more than a couple good blows to kill you dead, so you'll want to make sure your health bar stays topped up. Attack and defense bonuses will also be your friends.
Also, Daruk's Protection and Mipha's Grace are lifesavers (literally) so having them both charged up before battle is always good. Don't bother with the other two — they take too long to charge, and lightning doesn't stun Lynels.
Also also, you might want to start with the one on Ploymous Mountain, since its always at the weakest level.
Also note what weapon they're wielding. If you only fight the ones with a sword and shield, the ones with a spear or a crusher may catch you off-guard as they attack differently (especially be wary of the latter; they hit like a truck).
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Urbosa’s Fury doesn’t stun Lynels? It’s been a while, but I could have sworn it did.
I've used it to stun them from the get go when the battle begins, and climb on their back. I've never used it for anything beyond that however.
One Strip! One Strip!I just got good at activating Flurry Rushes.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Holy shit I just got a star fragment. I was checking out Lake Hylia thinking about that dragon and saw the shooting star. Just ran like hell past everything, including those Yiga enemies that decided they really wanted to harass me right then.
Star fragments are so pretty I'm kind of obsessed. Sometimes I'll just find a safe place and drop one on the ground and look at it
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThis death of Link is hilarious.

It does, but only briefly. They shake it off real fast. Electric arrows won’t even do that much without a headshot.
Also, don’t rely on knocking their weapons out of their hands. That doesn’t work at all.

IIRC, you can get a ton of money by save scumming the gambling hut in Lurelin... save before playing, then reload if you guess wrong. The boxes won’t shuffle.
