"Mash recognizes as basically being Hawaiian Ishtar."
At first I thought this sentence meant that Mash herself is Hawaiian. Actually, do we know what Mashs nationality is?
"There's a Hawaiian goddess of snow? Color me surprised."
Four actually. Poli'ahu is just one of them.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Antarctican? Is that a thing?
Secret SignatureWell it is now.
Actually what are the odds that her biological father is Animusphere Senior?

Spooked by two 4*'s today; Rama and another Atlante...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Ok, I won't officially post my Musashi translation yet because the "scans" on Beast's Lair doesn't have all the pages, but here's the preview with all the parts we got so far. Since The Heavenly Eye and Voidless are already described in her profile, in marked in bald only the new lines. This is also hasn't gone through the final grammar proofreading, so excuse any problems on that department.
EDIT: It's "marked in bold", but the typo amused me enough to stay there.
Kurikara Tenshou impressed me on Nasu ability to use a lot of words without actually saying anything, but the implications that Musashi either reached the Root or is very close to it are nice. Also, new Musashiface hype.
"Since I'm shooting those dolphins, therefore an Archer." So Archers are sex gods. Noted.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.First person to answer to "Archer" in the series is the matured form of an eroge lead. All I'm saying.
@Comun: Honestly, I feel like the entirety of the series is the essence of "the ability to say nothing despite using many words", to put it in Nasu terms.
It's been fun.I thought I was alone in that regard.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Syncretism is... bad.
Also shit they're unironically embracing samefaces noooooooooooo
Fates just following in SM Ts footsteps.
As Kaneko Kazuma once put it for Nocturne: All relgions originate from the Old Testament. So Kagutsuchi is the Japanese incarnation of YHVH! Seth is Proto-Satan, Kuzuryu aka Japanese Ananta is an Avatar of YHVH, and the Three Wise Men are Female YHVH.
Though Fate has yet to being up the debunked absurd theory that Japan is actually descended from a secret Jewish Tribe.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Nah, they reveal that all gods originate from one singular alien being, meaning that all religions and myths are fake!
β¦ Extreme thinking aside, syncretism (word of the day) like this really does have the opposite effect what the author thinks it has. Like I doubt Nasu wants to discredit any beliefs like this, but essentially saying "this god is actually this other god from different religion" just devalues myths, no matter how factually right it might be. I want to know more about Izanagi and Izanami, not Shiva and Sati.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Too be fair in Nasuverse they're a bunch of Alien Gods and the Babylonia ones are some of the few native Gods left after Altera butchered the rest of the natives.
The rest are either the same guy different names or Bunreis.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Feels the franchise is straying farther and farther from what it started with...
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.I do have to admit I actually like the Raikou-Indra syncretism because of Arjuna and Rama going "whut" at Raikou's association with Indra actually acknowledges that other figures from the mythology it's taking from are around and I took Raikou using it kinda as a little peek at Indra stuff
Edited by Nouct on Aug 10th 2018 at 10:05:57 AM
I think the Syncretism was always intended. After all Dagda's Cauldron was intended to be the Celtic equivalent of the Holy Grail in Prototype and thus The Grail is fundamentally evil 101.
It's just now more blatant about it after CCC and Extra.
I mean I'm not saying Extra started it all but that's exactly what I'm saying.
It is funny how CCC which was supposed to be Nasu's farewell to Fate actually ended up being basically the blueprints for Fate for the foreseeable future.
Syncretism involving Indra was mentioned way back in FSN in the Vajra description. So this isn't new.
To my understanding, conflating the Dagda's cauldron with the Holy Grail has some basis in the real-world myths. The pagan artifacts in the older stories being replaced with more acceptably Jesusy substitutes and so forth.
Yes and so does a lot of this stuff. Thus Syncretism becomes a basis of things in Fate.
Everything from same figures but different mythologies creating them separately to figures like Heracles being incorporated into Buddhism, which Shinto, Chinese, Hinduism, Gnosticism, and Buddhism has loads of doing. Buddhism and Hinduism especially overlap a lot and Japan made its own OC Buddhist figures based on Hindu incorporated into Buddhism. Or their fusion D Bz style Buddha zaou-Gongen. Three Buddhas fused inro one super Buddha.
The Bible too when you take in consideration the cool non-Bible stuff like the Goetia and YHVH Semitic roots.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Wait so a bunch of Gods from multiple myths are the same being?
