Finished the story mode of Summer Chaldea.

That was... underwhelming.

The second half of most Event stories always feels tacked on, but this seemed much more so than usual.

Did like the boar piglets though. Whatever other problems the scenario had, they were amusing.

Besides the oar, Musashi has another NP, it's an EX-rank Anti-Swordsman/Blade Master Great Bounded Field, only used once in her life, no one actually knows what it does because no one who has faced it has lived to tell the tale.

But it's probably that field of skulls that no one mentions when she fights Amakusa's goons in Shimosa

Kiara and Andersen's relationship is weird. Like they legitimately despise each other but Andersen also loved her in CCC and now it seems like she kinda reciprocates?

Maybe it's because Kiara's slightly different as a result of the timeline I guess?

Decided to roll a little more in the gacha, since I'm sitting at 420 Quartz, and I think Jeanne's skill set looks fun.

First tenroll was a bust nine 3* and my gold CE sucked.

Second one was well worth it though, got Ibaraki on #6 and #9 gave me Jeanne!

That's all 3 servants in 40 rolls, which is pretty neat.

Jeanne is definitely the Servant intended to go along with the aloha shirt Mystic Code. She's Arts-focused and can regen her NP pretty quickly if you use it on a group of three enemies.

Anyway, as far as the mystique of Nyarlathotep or whatever, I think the instant you start taking how Fate portrays a historical figure personally, you lose. (Which is hypocritical given how much some of Tomoe's portrayal annoys me, admittedly.) Fate is for cool battles and stupid antics, after all.

I'm much more annoyed with how Pele more or less just became a powerup for BB. Musashi namedropping her and the little description made me think they were going to play around with a goddess for something that other goddesses don't cover hailing from a pantheon that hadn't been shown before but nope BB fodder :/.

admittedly my apathy towards nyarly may just be the result of me being super tired of the endless wank from certain persona fans

Then make the cool battles cool and stupid antics funny. Someone would probably think of half a dozen ways to use Nyarly before thinking of just foddering him to fuel already existing OC. One who doesn't even feel that much fun to begin with. Especially since it shows how much of a meme two classes are, with one literally being for one class while also stealing gimmick from another class.

Yeah like this franchise is stupid as all Hell that’s undeniable but there is a fine line of “amusingly moronic” to “are you fucking kidding me, what the fuck is this shit?”

Plus that doesn’t excuse uncreativity really. Like that should never be alright, if your gonna be stupid take a page outta Billy from Billy & Mandy’s book & go whole hog wild with it.

Well Smite just released their version of her so there’s that at least.

There's a Kay/Pellinore doujin at the fes and Gareth wants to check out it because of the sheer novelty◊, she's mainly there to look at all the KOTR doujins to see what people wrote about her friends.

BB doesn't need to powerup herself she has Ten Crowns(Potnia Theron) that she herself intentionally nerfs for gameplay balance reasons only.

If Peles is a part of her it's probably because shes one of the many Goddesses BB ate in CCC. Nyarly is a new edition.

@Kiara and the Sakura Five Skills: Probably because she ate three of them and BB absorbed the ones we don't see in the original CCC.

It's specifically stated that Pele died during the event, that's why gyaru BB has a bunch of Hawaii stuff in her animations.

Okay, apparently the thing of King Hassan being a fusion of bunch of other Hassans is that originally he was intended to be a SSR Servant you could get without the gacha and you had to collect and then combine 100 Hassans in order to acquire him.
