I think that runs into the notion that this sort of outfit suits nobody in any way that I would call suiting. Like, there's not someone it's going to look more suitable on, beyond assumptions.

Or, it's not trying to emphasise something that she doesn't have? Something like that.

Yeah, I don't think I'm seeing the way it's worse on her than it would be on (with proper anatomy) Raikou or something.

The outfit kind of feels similar to Ibuki's 3rd ascension, and I think that actually looks pretty good.

See, I think it looks better on Ibuki (in the design sense), because of her personality and Shuten's personality. In the actual artistic sense it's Raita, so no. In the sense of whether it looks good or bad on either of them because of their body, they both seem fine; if anything this is a slight step up over Ushi because it doesn't try to hide that she's slender by being so baggy and loose. It just seems to still be a bizarrely implausible outfit choice.

It's kinda funny how this one is named "Illya" but is has very different from the OG Illya, while "Sitonai" is pretty much OG Illya in everything but name.

Well, Sitonai does answer to Illya, too.

Also, you're never too old to be a magical girl, as long as you have sufficient firepower.

Oh, the Spawn CE in JP is the "here's an extra spawn" type of spawn CE, not the "here's a rare enemy" type of spawn CE. So, the worst one.

Okay, it looks like I was partially wrong about Taira no Kagekiyo then. Since it's basically Minamoto no Yoshitsune Brainwashed and Crazy into thinking she's Kagekiyo in her first two ascensions via a Taira Grudge, and finally remembering who she is in her third ascension... still doesn't explain why she can smile now when Ushi said she literally forgot how to. I think I'm gonna wait on Tomoe's reaction to her though before I decide my verdict on her, cause if she's truly as cold hearted as Ushi and Tomoe described, I'm keeping her in the Kagekiyo persona. If this changed her and both In-Universe don't consider her as bad as the original Yoshitsune, then I'll put her in her real persona... which is a shame, cause I like the armor and fox mask look more.

Finally Ushi has an update. Now give ma boi Leonidas one too you cowards.

Mini Ushi... I demand plushies. Make plushies of her cause she is fucking adorable.

...I would only accept Avenger Boudica if her final Ascension has her start to move past her hatred and try to just live her life even if she still despises the Roman's. Otherwise, Avenger Boudica would quite literally just be a clone of Penth, just replace "Achilles" with "Romans".

She has a smiling sprite, but we haven't actually seen her smile yet beyond the crazy grin. And since we got the story version by bopping Ushi with a mallet... yeah this is a weird event I'm not questioning if smiling happens.

She needs to not be so ridiculously chill about it, is the current problem. Which I think I said last time it came up.

The smiling issue is because, for the longest time, it was one of the few pieces of information we had about Yoshitsune's character. Take a look at Ushi, she smiles very often, even when in her Blood Knight mode collecting heads, she enjoys what she does. And yet she said her older self had long forgotten to how to smile, that even she was terrified of her older self, and that in her eyes, Yoshitsune was someone whose heart had turned cold. It painted the picture of Yoshitsune turning from the bundle of fun that is Ushi, to the cold hearted weapon of her brother Yoritomo. It's characterization that had been built up for years now to go with Yoshitsune being The Dreaded to not just Ushi herself, but everyone from that generation of the Genji, namely Benkei and Tomoe. So to see her sprite having her smile, unless this is a case of Gameplay and Story Segregation, it feels like inconsistent characterization.

They did touch on that in Quirinus' Interlude and the Garden of Order event, in that she namely just represses her feelings for the sake of it not interfering with her new life at Chaldea, but that when it boils over, she loses it. Even by Quirinus' interludes end, she fully admits she still hates them, but is willing to put that aside and be civil so long as they are both with Chaldea.

I wonder if Leonidas will get an animation update as part of an event about ancient Greece like the current event with Ushi.

Yeah, I heard about the ROMA interlude, I hope to actually get to see it.

The thing I most hate about this game is that you can't get more info on characterisation unless you roll the characters, and often half the stuff that makes some of them interesting is buried in the stupid interludes. Okay, I have him on JP, but that doesn't help me.

As for her smile: I wouldn't say she's smiling, any more than a wolf is smiling.

Join the club. Half the reason I came to love Raiko as a character came from her Interlude, and most of the reason I came to love Schez came from her interlude. Really wish they weren't locked to already having them.

Then again, it doesn't help that some Interludes are just complete trash. Like Boudica's (Basically an attempted Goblin Rape Hentai), Chloe's (Loli Kissing Rape Spree), and Atalante Alter's (Goes against all her characterization and even lore on how the series works to randomly make her hate us)
