I finally completed the story! Now all I gotta do is clear out the shop, finish the ladder, and beat the CQ. Probably gonna fail at all three, but eh, it's the thought that counts.

@Raineh: Yeah, though it's specifically vanilla Jeanne who does the -50% NP on entry (Gilles summons Jeanne Alter, who then tells Jeanne to get her ass in there). Well, there's no practical difference either way.

Another thing to watch out for is that Jeanne Alter gets permanent unremovable Pierce Invuln on break. Some team comps might want to take her down first, others might not. Vanilla Jeanne not only gives her entire party 1 hit of unremovable invuln on break, but also permanent unremovable crit rate up, so you really don't want to have both broken at the same time or Alter will slaughter your entire party.

Nouct@ You know, the beginning paragraph of Google search and only fine the anime version used Astolfo as an example. But im thinking Astolfo isn't really used that much in media so of course he show up more.

So now im going Google search Servants and see how often Fate version is first.

Fyi, Smite version comes first for Cu.

Edit: Cleo, Caeser, Heracles, Gilgamesh and Nightingale you dont get their Fate version. If you search Nero you get the RL version. But Nero Claudius you get UMU. Medb you get the Fate version. Same with Mordred funny enough.

So the Himiko meme is real. Pretty slow though. Granted, I did kill Jalter first for some reason.

Interesting. Seems Caenis got two new unique lines, one for Nemo and one for Clytie. I guess the former is due to Olympus, and the latter due to their Commonality Connection of being women screwed over by gods.

Clytie murdered her friend over it, not gonna sympathize.

Caenis was actually raped by a god, while Clytie just got dumped by one and then proceeded to get her friend killed over it. Getting dumped sucks but I wouldn't call it "being screwed over by the gods".

Wasn't it specifically said that the part where she got her friend killed didn't happen here? It falls in line with the fact Greek Servants in general tend to get Historical Hero Upgrade overall.

[up][up]Her profile is mostly accurate to the legend, and it does mention what she did to her friend. Heck, that might be why it even describes her as an "insane nymph".

She was Apollon's lover but was driven mad by jealousy when his affections were stolen by Leucothoe, the daughter of the Persian king Orchamus and caused her love rival's ruin by defaming her.

Actually looking into it... where was it said Clytie and Leucothea were friends? Most I can find is Clytie was angry Apollo fell for Leucothea, so she told Leucothea's dad, he had Leucothea buried alive, and Clytie hoped Apollo would take her back. He refused to take her back, so she stared at the sun for nine days hoping he'd notice her, and he pretty much said "fuck you" and turned her into a sunflower.

That's honestly rather typical of Greek love. Murder the Hypotenuse is pretty much bog standard there. Just look at Hera. Every single woman Zeus raped aside from Europa was killed by Hera just because she was pissed Zeus paid attention to them over her, and the only reason Europa was spared was because Hera thought Zeus literally fucked her brains out and that she was now mentally impaired. Clytie didn't even directly kill her, just told her asshole dad.

Like 90% of Chaldea is a murderer of one kind or another anyway, is there a point in caring if they don't seem like it's going to repeat?

[up] Defamation causing murder is pretty indirect anyhow. Do you blame the person for telling at that point or the father on the assumption he would've learned anyway? And that burying alive is overkill? [lol]

[up]That's my point. Yeah, she got a single woman killed, big whoop. Doesn't change the fact a god basically dumped her for someone prettier and then turned her into a sunflower.

[up][up][up][up]I'm not here to call her out or to accuse her, heck, she actually does regret her actions. I'm just pointing out that what happened to Clytie isn't really on the same level as what happened to Caenis, to call it both "screwed over by the gods".

Also, Helios/Apollo had nothing to do with her turning into a sunflower/heliotrope. She just did 9 days later. Because people can do that.[lol]

[up][up]It varies from telling to telling. Hell, it wasn't even originally a sunflower, it was a turnsole/heliotrope. Only real consistent aspect is that Clytie turned into a plant after staring at the sun for a couple days, and said plant would always point towards the sun out of her love for Apollo/Helios. The most popular interpretations are either that she became the flower because reasons, or that Apollo turned her into one in his anger at her.

[up]Fair. Though Caenis seems to feel a Commonality Connection with her anyway.

Yeah, Apollo should have turned her into a sunflower immediately instead of letting her get away with it for over a week. How could you, Apollo!

Clytie js part of the inevtable trend that beings Apollos lover sucks, even when Apollo isn't a dick, because it always ends in his lvoer getting screwed even when hes madly in love.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
