This is bothering me more then it should. If I may return your attention to Penny's CE◊. If she doesn't like compliments to her looks, why is Penny wearing her very best. Is she so oblivious about what is considered beautiful and will garner her flattering stares and compliments? Or is she aware, but is itching to beat someones shit in and is fishing for compliments as an excuse?

Maybe Kirei is her dresser. "Oh, you so have to expose your abs, sweetie. All the boys will know how hard you work out to be the very best warrior. No, don't worry about your bosom? Why would any warrior stare at such flabby lumps of flesh anyway? Now go and get those rock hard tummy bricks complimented!"

Maybe she realized that being beautiful and being strong are not mutually exclusive qualities, and is now (rightfully) flaunting her looks?

Of course, deep down, we know what the real reason for that is.

I, for one, ain't complaining. There are far less female abs in this world than it should.

Hm. Those Achilleseses that showed up twice when I just wanted a horsie are coming in useful now that Skadi is a thing. Very easy full event drop bonus with double Skadis. Well, full as I can do with four Gil CEs anyway. 161% quick up is pretty funny.

I'm starting to consider whether I focus solely on the lotto or if I try to clear the shop too.

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.

I generally focus on the lotto and just pick up whatever I'm lacking from theshop.

Because while the lotto has common mats to the more rare ones from the shop, actually having to normally grind broze mats is far more of a pain in the ass than farming rare ones.

Not to mention that exp cards take priority over mats, and the additional mana prisms are necessary for the upcoming bond CE.

As for the grail in Gilfest...what is your prize for these Da Vinci? 10k prisms? A special summon token or what?

Played all the Gilgafest prelims today. The rewards were nice.◊

Artoria and Mordred managed my first 4 turn clear of the lottery node. Guess she's not that bad anymore huh? If only I had enough mats to max her skills.

First challenge quest is against Tawara Touta

1.5 mil HP on first break bar and can lock your cards on hit.

Second bar has 3M HP and gets permanent Buster buff and debuff immunity.

And he only has like two traits to exploit for damage.

Ok so the gimmick is that for every debuff he gives, after one turn they're removed and replaced with a corresponding buff and to compensate for the HP loss, he'll also do something that boosts HP.

So survive the debuffs, get hella buffed, then go to town on his several million HP

But he keeps using his Buster animation and boy are there a lot of Buster buffs he loves to stack on top of his permanent Buster buff in phase two

Ok more specifically 3 turn card locks boost HP and 1 turn card locks give buffs

This battle is really RNG-dependent

Finally beat it with Kiyo as the ST Lancer that got all the buffs dumped on her to do about 1.6 million damage for the killing blow, Atlas suit was really clutch for avoiding a total party kill from Touta's NP.

It was not very fun thanks to the sheer rng involved, mainly getting screwed over by either having the attack shuffle give you all the attacks that were locked or Touta locking two different attacks for three turns and then every hand in the next three turns has those locked attacks. Also useless NP buffs on Merlin and Waver.

I wasted all my CS on this, two on previous runs and one on the winning run so this is a good start to Gil's challenge quests.

Well, I don't play on JP, so all I can add to this is: 'MERICA! FUCK YEAH!

Tamalancer's failed to solo three or four times in a row so I switched to Eresh, who had less RNG bullshit keeping her down, better defensive options and the Atlas MC instead of the Polar one and she did really well.

Formalcraft to 80, need another copy blehhh. On to Aerial Drive!
