According to the Commander Lilith DLC they are competent enough that someone wiping them out easily puts that person firmly outside the capacity of Handsome Jack Era Hyperion
I would love to slaughter me some Tediore troops.
(Because I dislike Tediore)
Which bit of the DLC - Hector is Dahl, but think he mentions prior experience fighting Tediore, but can't remember if he does talk about engaging them.
Also really weird how all the Corporate troops are card carrying psychopaths or war criminals. But morality overall seems pretty far gone in the 6 galaxies.
It was the recording in Helios Fallen about how the Vladof Corps destroyed a continent of Tediore troops. Which wouldn't surprise me if Tediore's money-pinching attitudes were canon.
Let's just say that I'm a compulsive reloader who has no intention of spending whole magazines to fill up just one round. Maybe for pistols and shotguns this wouldn't be as much of a problem, but this really backfires with SMG and Rocket Launcher types, given how hard it is to gather those ammo types without flat-out buying, which is something I'd rather avoid doing.
Nah, ammo starvation ain't an issue in 3. Like, you can run out, but it's not as belitating. Ammo chest are like 3 times more common than in the other games. The game's way more generous with drops of ammo. Who also seem to restore more ammo per drops.
I've used tediore SMG consistently (coz they are awesome in 3), and I barely ever run out of ammo, and when I do, it tends to be only following particularly long gun fights, and only for a small bit till I walk to the next ammo chest.

Still being hunted by Mr. Halloway. Going by his echo recording, i wouldn't be Surprised if we get a DLC focused on her. After all, Marcie's Crime Buster bots and robots based on them are all over the place.
This isn't a TFTB sequel though, i don't see why it would have happened here. Plus echo recording show that Fiona and Sasha are missing and Rhys is looking for them.
As for Vaughn, He's full psycho now.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I imagine there will be less blowing up in my face given the different sorts of reload gimmicks Tediore has in 3. Of course, I'll never know firsthand because of the you know what.
I mean, not full Psycho. He's still coherent. He's fully gone native though.
Right, that's what i meant.
He really does seem happier running a bandit tribe than he ever was as a corporate drone.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Tediore runs fully on No OSHA Compliance, so I'd assume that their troops are just bandits with guns, and they're dangerous because they have lots of them and are banking on the fact that they can survive a dozen of their guys being blown up by a malfunctioning rocket launcher, but you can't.
What's precedent ever done for us?Considering Tediore commercial bank a lot on a 50s asthetic in their commercial "Every family should have a gun to defend themselves" I don't really see them as bandit.
I do see them as extreme consumer considering the disposable nature of their wares. I'd see Tediore worlds as being fully stripped mined.
Plus is there any indication in the lore that Tediore guns malfunction alot?
I mean, Dahl's echos apparently malfunction enough they are marketed as Grenades, but no one portrays Dahl as woefully incompetent

Their weapons are literally designed to explode rather than reload, and any Borderlands player will tell you that they can very easily cause a great deal of self-damage. They don't give a shit about their customers' safety, as one might expect from the 'sell guns to really poor people' company. I suggested bandits because they're the cheapest, most disposable combatants in the galaxy, and I really doubt that the cheapskates at Tediore would seriously invest in anyone, let alone people who are likely to blow themselves up a few minutes into their first battle.

What's precedent ever done for us?You mean the bots on Promethea... huh.
There's a fair chance that there won't be a TFTB sequel. So it would have been nice if they'd touched upon the events if they were going to pick the cast out of that game and put them into a main one.
Fiona and Sasha being MIA is kind of disappointing, and doesn't explain what exactly happened to Rhys and Fiona post-TFTB. Seeing Rhys in the trailer gave the hope that TFTB's ending would be explored. They vanished. That's all we know. And assuming that they got out is obvious but... a little boring.
In a perfect world they could have wrapped up that plot thread with an ECHO giving a brief description of what happened. That's the beauty of these games - seemingly major events are easily written off into small, digestible audio logs all of the time.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!In a perfect world Telltales wouldn't have been such a toxic abusive shit-hole to begin with.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."×2
Here's the echo.
Once again... huh. Missed that ECHO somehow.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Did anyone else find these echoes?
The no new DLC Vault Hunter news is disappointing. The new hunters added great replay value to the previous two games.
Ah ya gotta love the casual psychopathy in this series.
“I can’t believe I skipped my pirate gang’s cannibal barbecue for this!” Only in this series would you hear someone seriously say that.
Also I share Brick’s concern, has Tina been taking dating advice from Moxxi?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So I'm finally at the part where Maya dies, and it left me even less interested in the Evil Youtuber Twins. When Roland died to Jack, it was more powerful due to the storytelling beats before and after that moment, and came at the hands of a better villain. Here, Maya died just to make me take them seriously and I'm not biting.
In more interesting news, Hammerlocke is back! And his evil DLC sister from the Pre-Sequel is behind it! Awesome stuff on Eden-6 from start to where I had to take a break.
Given how unscrupulous the other corporations are, I'd say their paranoia is largely justified.
