I personally think it's an armship, a pair of legs flying through space would just look...stupid.

I mean, I think a pair of legs flying through space would look stupid before wrapping around to looking cool.

Plus, Pink had big fluff balls floating above her shoes. I don't think looking stupid really matters that much anymore.

The Voltron reboot has some of the antagonists piloting a ship that's basically a pair of legs at this point.

This is a new leak supposedly◊ though it's hard to tell what's going on,there was some suggestion he's in Bismuth;s forge..or perhaps the redeye

Might just be a troll. That said, I know quite a few people conjectured about where the Diamonds came from before, and thus who might be above them.

Wasn't sure which thread to post this since it comes from a leaker,so playing it safe

You know, I just have to say this; the whole concept about the Diamonds coming to earth, it just bugs me for certain reasons

1. There’s just something about this that gives off a sense of finality for the series. I mean, let’s be honest, given that tremendous leak that was shown just a little while ago, you know that there’s going to be some form of resolution to the whole Diamond Authority threat. And once the Diamonds are no longer a threat to the earth or the Crystal Gems, what’s left for our heroes to oppose against? The Diamonds were the only real major antagonizing threat left for the storyline.

2. This whole possibility that Steven might end up making peace between the Great Diamond Authority and the Crystal Gems just doesn’t seem right to me. The Crystal Gems whole purpose was to oppose the evils that the Diamonds have been enforcing for several millennia. In fact, Peridot’s whole reason for joining the group was because she saw what kind of person that Yellow Diamond really was; a cruel, sadistic tyrant who just wouldn’t listen to reason. So, the idea that the feud between the Crystal Gems and the Diamond Authority will end like that, it...it just doesn’t work for me

3. If the Diamond Authority threat really does come to an end here it just feels wrong somehow that Lapis lazuli will likely not make her inevitable return back to Earth until after it is all over. I mean, after all that has been shown with her, it seemed like her returning to help fight off an enemy would be a nice turn of events for everyone all around. I mean everyone would get lapis back and she would finally be able to gain the confidence that she needs by taking a stand against those she once feared. And now it looks like that’s not likely to ever happen within the show

So now Bismuth is back. Obviously people are guessing she's going to Back for the Dead given the ominous "A Gem is Shattered" bingo space. Based on the podcast leak however, that's not happening unless the Diamonds somehow found out about Pink Diamond already, show up looking to talk, then things turn violent, which I admit would be a major twist on our expectations of what was going to happen in that scene.

That doesn't work all that well given the shots of the Diamond's ships has the same lighting as shots of people in wedding attire panicking, in contrast to the casual attire of the leaked shots. However Peridot is conspicuously absent from the group shot. Based on an image released by Cartoon Network UK that shows everyone in wedding attire, Peridot is in the next episode, so there's no obvious reason for her not to be in that particular shot. Ladies and gentlemen, I have a bad feeling about this.

And she did piss off Yellow Diamond...

Alternatively, maybe Lapis finally stops running away, and promptly demonstrates that her fears were quite rational, much to everyone's shock and horror. Or it could be a well-liked corrupted gem (centipeedle), or a Homeworld gem (Topaz). Also, they say a Gem will be shattered, not that they'll stay dead, so maybe Steven can also resurrect gems like he can organics? That's the only way it turns out to be a main character, though that would pretty much put the series in Death Is Cheap territory without a good explanation for why this would work.
