Okay, so I'm reading the manga, and I'm on chapter 71. Is it just me, or did the whole Mogami arc end REALLY, REALLY abruptly?!
EDIT: Seriously, is mangareader just borked or something?! I feel like I'm missing out on huge chunks of the story!

I might recommend Batoto in that regard. I know that
It could be that because some chapters are XX.X like 62.1, 62.2 and so on, that mangareader is skipping them?
That could be it.
That was definitely it. I have now caught up on the manga, and holy shit, I love it. For those of you who've also read it, how should season 2 onwards of the anime be structured? I have some thoughts, and I'm interested in if they align with you guys'.
My thoughts: season 2 should end with Mogami, season 3 should end with the Claw finale, but I don't know about season 4. The whole thing with Dimple and the broccoli kind of starts immediately after Claw, and it goes too quickly for fill out an entire season, but I'm not sure if the current alien arc will be season finale material.
I'm more thinking that a second season would be 1 and half cours and cover both Mogami and Claw finale. They could admittedly do it in 12, but that'd be tight and that first arc in particular is the darkest in the manga, and needs room to breathe. Giant Broccoli stinger for S3.
That could work. I was also considering that season 2 could end with the Reigan revealed arc and season 3 could end with the Psycho Helmet arc, although that does relegate the Claw arc to a mid-season finale.
Two episodes in.
Does Mob ever figure out that Arakata's using him?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Non-spoilery answer: it doesn't really matter, since Reigen is a genuinely good and wise mentor, teacher, and overall person either way.
Manga spoiler answer: Mob figuring it out isn't given an explicit moment, but he's not surprised when Reigen is revealed as a non-psychic.
He knows Reigen's not an esper all along. He can tell just by looking at him.
At some point, it is implied that Mob thinks that Reigan's powers are more spiritual than psychic, and there are other characters introduced in the series with such powers, but he still remains unsurprised when Reigen is revealed to be completely powerless.
Well hell, at the end of the Reigen exposed as a sham arc. Mob spells it out pretty clearly that he always knew what he master was: a good person.
It's on the Crowning Moment of Heartwarming MP 100 page for a damn good reason.

I'm at episode 8. I was a bit annoyed when they introduced Ritsu's problems with Mob. But this is the kind of thing that Mob would miss and Ritsu really wanted to not be bitter.
The new villain at least knows when to bail, and has some cheaty way of dealing with Mob. I wonder if there is a psychic that is flat out stronger than Mob.
Good on Teru for getting Mob and trying not to have tact, but he needs a new wig.
And Reigan continues to make us wonder why he isn't in the massage business. At least he cares about fixing his customers problems, even if he lies about how he does it.
I've heard that Mob's charactor development is still going in the direction of doing things without relying on his powers, so I'm not sure how they're getting out of this.
So wait, did they call aliens for real? .-.
I guess. 0_o Well, I guess One Punch Man didn't have any problems with introducing aliens, but Mob Psycho 100 does have a very different style and tone than OPM...
Guys and gals, Steam has new anime courtesy of Crunchyroll.
Mob Psycho is on sale until tomorrow for $4.08. Both dubbed and subbed.
Why do I feel like they prepared to visit Japan?
Sooo, uh, that happened
That was amazing. It wasn't any landmark of writing, but to have an entire character's storyline end that anticlimactically, yet poignantly, has a certain beauty to it.
New (.01 of a) "chapter" is out. Wow, the plot is moving really fast, all of a sudden!
Caught up on the manga. The end of Dimple's arc got me really choked up.
Me too. I was not prepared for how poignant it would be. Think he's really gone for good this time?
Well, chapter 100 has finally begun.
???% best wingman...?
I was not expecting the only two remaining loose ends to come together like that.
lol this is becoming some sort of godzilla threshold situation

You know, something occured to me while watching the latest dubbed episode: Reigen is like the anti-Trump. Both conmen who claim to be more powerful than they really are and are actually insecure individuals, deep down, but Reigen specifically talks about how people shouldn't blindly follow orders and getting to the top while ruining everything in your path just makes you a miserable and terrible person, while Trump tells people to blindly follow orders and he got to the top by ruining everything in his path, which made him a miserable and terrible person.
