The Stranger looks up to the Troperia, trying to finda way onto the hull. "New vessel, new place.Me have about a day, maybe a bit more until they find the gun."

"Interesting you mention artillery. Using what's in this room, plus some added metal, I could probably set up some kind of stand you can rest the gun on. Instead of lugging it around everywhere and then firing it, you could put it on a tripod, adjust it, then take your time before firing."

Vincent dusted his hands off. "Can even make it adjustable, or put some wheels on it."

"Hmm..." Torvahk said as he considered what was said before replying, "People mine, improvements to technology ours we are looking for always. Lost much has been between eras of ancestors ours and today...long story." Torvahk then further considered the possibility of converting his Fusion Cannon into an artillery piece. It didn't seem like a bad idea, considering that weapons of a heavier grade than guns like the FTX-45 were only capable of being used when attached to a vehicle, which was something Torvahk would mention as he added, "Portable this already is...stand if we added, take firing and aiming guesswork out it would...and save shoulder mine probably."

"Well, with a few tweaks, I could modify the cannon to use protium hydrogen instead of deuterium as the base power source. Not sure where you'd get hydrogen cells like that around here, though." Izzie says to Torvahk.

Kyerine looks at Mireille initially confused then very upset as he runs away from the machine over towards her, putting his small hands around her in a tiny bit of a hug. "I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. What's wrong? What's the matter?" The young boy concerningly asks, actually quite upset for making her upset though not understanding what was wrong. He knew the machine would be fine, he didn't quite understand that she didn't know. Lacking a full understanding of the theory of mind, or atleast not applying it.

The Troperia - Medbay

Matt's vital signs did seem mostly stable, then a sudden boost in neutral activity, heartrate and blood pressure occurs. Despite the double dose of anesthesia in his weakened state his body seems to twitch and stir while still unconscious. Pained vocalizations and facial expressions as well as a attempt to raise his currently being treated left arm like he was grasping for something; though in his current anesthetized state you could easily just push the arm back down.

Blake looks over and frowns deeply, letting the medics work but keeping a eye on them. Commenting over to Mitch. "Well you seem a lot more relaxed about all of your changes. Other than being human, what is the rest of you?"

Mireille sniffed "That worked flawlessly for at least a dozend years... without even one error..." Of course she knew that it was only machine... but for her it was kinda more, it was from her lab, which for a Cenn is a big deal. She looked at Kyerine "N-No... i-its not your fault..."

"No no no! It my fault. It okay, machine will fix itself!" Kyerine giving a sudden panicked tone, realizing why she is upset. Keeping his small hug around her side, starting to cry a tiny bit himself from upsetting her.

The warning light on the MRI machine flickers and turns off. A sudden buzz is heard. A slight sparking sound. Then lights on it begin to turn back on.

The computers message changing to the following:
[ [INPUT CONNECTED: AWAITING USER INPUT] ]
Seemingly the MRI machines systems and connected computers start to power back up and return to normal with only minor errors like the clocks needing resetting. No actual damage to the machine it turns out.

"N-No.. please don't cry, I'm sorry, I didn't wanted to make you cry." Mireille wished her own tears out of her eyes, just as she did the machine sprang back to life. "You were right, it seems to work again *sniff* sorry for making you feel bad about it." She probably would need to inspect if there were any damages to the software from the sudden breakdown, but that would have to wait for later, she didn't want the boy to feel even worse about that.

Kyerine continues to rub his tear damped face on Mireille keeping the hug. She would notice his is quite cold, almost like a piece of pottery or metal. He takes quite a while to calm himself down."I-I wanted. I-I never m-meant to upset you. I-I just wanted to s-show what I meant. It it will work." The boy spews at her, trying to justify what happened.

"Please don't hate me doctor lady.." Kyerine mutters still with tears still running from his cat-eyed round face. Having trouble calming himself down now he managed.

Mireille wished the last tears out of her eyes, seeing that the machine indeed seemed to work fine again helped her a lot to calm down. "No please, don't think such... I'm not hating you, little one."

She noticed how cold he was, maybe that was normal for his species, maybe not - she at least hoped it was. For now she just let herself be hugged, hoping it would help calm him down "I'm really not upset about you."

She didn't really know what to do now. She knew how she felt when she accidentally broke one of Beauchene's microscopes... and that was only a microscope. She didn't really know if that situation was fully comparable... but at least it seemed so to her.

Cargo Bay

Greg blinks, taking a moment to try and process what Zevai says. Hearing Jumper, he glances up and waves hello before looking over to Zevai again. "Well, the person you were feeling was probably him...he kinda does that." he answers. "And if you want the captain, you're talkin' to him." he continues holding out his arm toward her for a handshake. He wasn't even sure if that was a thing where she was from, but. "If you want a spot aboard, it's yours."

Shard Starport - Outside the Troperia

Amos reaches down and easily hefts Michael up with his mechanical arm. "Are you alright?" he says, concerned before looking to the boy and the woman. "Ah, ok. Sorry about that. I need to update me databases, it seems. Also, it's fine. I think Michael's alright." he says and looks back to Nova. "Well, really we just...explore for the most part. At least, that's what I remember being told. We are on a space adventure, I suppose."

Med Bay

Rakiri glances at Dominic. "...I don't see the humor. I kinda see it more as you not being straight up enough with people you have to work and live with for no real reason. But, that's just me." He looks back at Mitch now though says it to both of them. "You really think people here would be that fuckin' shallow about it? Seriously? I wouldn't have." he finishes, sounding more than a bit peeved himself.

Tor also chimes in while continuing to heal Mitch. "Nor would I."

Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.

Troperia Armory:

"Recreate plasma cells, if only we could. Empty they'd be of course...hydrogen protium you describe we would still need." Torvahk suggested, although he had his doubts that anyone could just create new plasma cells based off of the exact same design and dimensions as the plasma cell that was already in the fusion cannon. Still, the device was designed to weaponize the products of nuclear fusion, it didn't matter what materials were used as long as they fit inside the plasma cells that powered the gun.

Kyerine keeps his hug up for a few more moments but is quickly reassured by her words, pulling. back and wiping his tears with his forearm. "You mean it?" He says his cheeks and eyes slightly red.

"Okay then!" Kyerine expressed quickly shifting bright eyed, starts smiling again slightly brightly, even if the traces of crying would take a few minutes to fade.

Shard Starport - Outside the Troperia

Michael accepts the hand up, shaking his head a little dazed. "Y-Yeah i-i' *achoo* i'm fine." He says rubbing his nose a little for a second and blinking.

Looking to the woman and nodding at Amos comments. "It really is no problem." He returns a smile to try and convince her of such.

Then looking to Nova and nodding. "Yeah we kinda just-just *sniffles*, sorry just travel around exploring I guess. We have done a little rescue job now once, or twice now I suppose." He looks at Amos and gives a warm smile.

Russell seems to be completely distracted from the whole convosation looking at the feline, reaching out to try and pet it the best he can. Once he finds Roltz, it becomes alot easier for him.

Mireille gave an earnest smile "I really mean it." She looked him in the eyes "And my offer still stands, if you want you can come here, I'm sure we can find a way for you to not... kill electrical devices by touching them." She made another earnest smile "What do you say?"

Kyerine's face runs a blank for a moment clearly considered what she was doing meant before a flicker in his eyes emerges and he realizes. Putting his hand forward and shaking hers. "Deal, miss doctor lady!" A passion in his response.

Kyerine laughs and nods in reply. "Okay Doctor Mireille and you can call me Kyerine." He responds cheerfully. He doesn't resist being patted on the head instead nuzzles the attention quite a bit. "I'll be the best student assistant ever!" He continues with enthusiasm.

Then taking a few seconds to just look around the room and to Merrick who was being scanned by the restarted machine. "So what exactly does this do?" Kyerine asks pointing at the MRI Machine.

Mireille chuckled on the remark "I'll take you up on that then Kyerine." Upon hearing his question she had to chuckle again Curious... oh that will work out quite well she pointed at the machine "It creates a 3-Dimensional scan of the body and what's in it, so it allows us to accuratly see how the insides of others look without having to resort to things like dissecting or... I don't even want to say it... vivisecting them." She tried to explain.

Kyerine nods to her initial remark before looking back at it and listening to her explanation.
"Oh...That sounds neat. Cutting things up is all mean and icky." Kyerine responds both innocently enthusiastic and yet in a way unsettlingly calm about the notion of cutting things up...

"Heh, yes it is~" Mireille nodded, not going further into his remark... something about it seemed... strange... but she couldn't pin it down and in the end just assumed that she thought too much about it "So... I probably should ask if you have some sort of education, I don't know how your species handles this actually."

"Um yeah I have some education. I got taught about our history and religion and numbers and a little bit about the sciences like chemistry and physics." He seems to think and try to explain what he had been taught, there was this slight tenseness as he was answering. Like he became slightly nervous about something that was mentioned.

Mireille nodded "Okay, that can be worked upon" She thought for a bit, this time she was sure that his tone was off a bit "You seemed a bit... tense just now... is something the matter?" She tilted her head curiously.

Sha'koro and aicha were walking around, more precisely Sha'Koro was walking while Aicha was riding on his shoulder like usual.

Kyerine pauses before unconsciously nodding, while responding negatively. "No,i'm fine. No need to worry your assistant is fine!" He denies with the utmost (lack of) ability and skill a seemingly very young child could manage.
