Hey ;D

Name: Trent

Age: 14.

Gender: Female

Race: An hybrid between an human and an undisclosed alien race.

Homeworld: Refused to divulge, declare herself to be a Terran.

Physical Traits/Appearance: This subject has bright yellow eyes, blonde hair (hip-length, with a bang over the right side of her face), a pale skin, sharp teeth and is, overall, taller than an average 14 years old. Also has three odd purple points on her neck.

As for the clothing, she wears a white turtleneck, a red coat, blue pants (with a black belt, a red headband and some shoes. There is some blood on the clothes, of alien origin.

Biology: It has been noted that the subject's biology is a mix between a human and an alien. Such changes include a rapid hair and nail growth, sharp teeth and a long, snake-like tongue.

Occupation: None.

Equipment/Tools: A trashcan top, or "shield", as subject puts it.. Subject carry several objets, namely : pens, ropes and small blades.

Powers/Abilities: Subject appears to be stronger, faster and tougher than an human, even if the subject is unable to match some stronger aliens in raw strength. Subject also appears to be able to regenerate from wounds, and has an high-learning rate, especially when it comes to fighting.

Indeed, subject is skilled in fighting, and can find weak-points, and subsequently exploit them, with ease. It'll also appear that the subject can manipulate kinetic force to make an object stronger or tougher (ex : the trashcan mentioned above). While the specimen seems unable to absorb kinetic energy, it has creative uses of its power so far.

Background : Unknown. Subject seems to be the result of an experiment, but has been silent so far.

Researches have been made about these experiments, but so far, specimen seems to be a "runaway", who infiltrate ships to travel between planets. Subject has made it clear that she seeks to go to the homeworld of the Terrans, for unknown reasons

The specimen was recently captured and is currently escorted on a small ship, which is heading for a research station. Experiments will be made within the subject. Keep in mind : you must reassure the specimen that the ship is heading for Terra, you must gas her with a powerful knock-out gas as soon as you arrive.

Reports of other specimen with a similar powerset were filed over the years, a mind probe is in order to check the existence of other subjects.

Personality (optional): Subject start out as aloof, but can eventually become friendly if exposed to an amiable crew. While the subject prefer to be left alone, it harbors a relative curiosity and wish to know more about its surrounding crews.

Specimen has a competitive streak, and enjoy proving her worth. Subject dislike being ignored, and also has a near-pathological research for attention. Subject is also knowledgeable with pop culture, to a minor degree.

That said, the subject rarely speaks when its not prompted to. It has also been noted that specimen, disturbingly enough, often picks violence above all, and seems to enjoy fighting to a degree. Specimen is also vengeful, and will not hesitate to kill when it deems it necessary. As such, any reveal of the true purpose of this trip could lead to fatal events for the crew.

Further researches are to be made.

Note : The crew is encouraged to avoid dying until the research base is nearby.

Kriken Empire Justice System, file 507184

Name: Cadreon West, Inmate 507184

Callsign: Harrier

Age: 45

Gender: Male

Race: Human Cyborg

Homeworld: Terra

Appearance: has brown hair, heavy stubble (Think Clint Eastwood), a cybernetic eye, heart, arm, and leg. Normally wears a brown HEV suit, and a Stetson hat.

Biology: Otherwise a normal human, West has had certain body parts replaced after being left for dead by a partner that sold him out, who is still at large. This includes a cybernetic eye that has photon beam capabilities, a cybernetic heart that includes a nuclear battery to power his cybernetics, and a cybernetic right arm and left leg, which give a slight defensive boost and a large boost in physical strength.

Occupation: Bounty hunter, mercenary for the Talgen republic,

Possesions:

Experimental Colt Coilgun Revolvers, 2

The most basic form of Gauss weapon, capable of much more destruction than standard firearms

BM Industries Tau Cannon, 1

Fires Tau particles, has two modes of fire. Uses depleted Uranium 235 as fuel

HEV suit, 1

A very versatile suit of armor, it lessens impacts, protects from radiation, toxins, extreme temperatures, etc., and has built-in medical systems.

Stetson hat, 1

Grenada and Co. Photon Saber, 1

A blade of Hard Light, can cut through flesh and bone with ease, but struggles on any armor with beam resistance

Multi-tool, 1

A standard multi-tool. used by Humans for thousands of years, it is just as useful in the present as it was millennia ago.

Yautja Medicomp, 2

A medkit created by the Yautja, it is extremely effective, but extremely painful to use. Cures anything from deep cuts to bullet wounds.

Sapplesung Wrist Communicator, 1

Abilities

Cybernetic eye has photon projection ability, can cause fires at long range, suspect states he uses it as a "flashlight"

Can temporarily overclock Cybernetic heart, massively increasing strength, agility, and reaction time, however, doing so is dangerous, and always causes intense fatigue after use

Suspect Background: He began his bounty hunting career at the age of 20, along with a childhood friend of his, whose name the subject will not reveal. His career lasted 20 years, and gained reasonable fame within his star system. He was eventually betrayed by this accomplice, who grievously injured him and left him for dead. He was found by our enemies, the Talgen Republic, who both repaired him with their advanced biotechnology and hired him. He was apprehended after a setup by one of our undercover agents, and is currently being held in [REDACTED]

Suspect has escaped, APB is currently active

Personality: Suspect is quiet, deadpan, and sarcastic, but has a quick wit and what seems to be a warped sense of honor

Notes: Suspect has a small personal ship, known as The Sidewinder. The ship is equipped with standard-issue pulse cannons, but is modified with photon torpedos, and 4 anti-grav engines of an unknown manufacturer, for extreme agility and firepower. Ship is currently in the possetion of the Kriken Empire justice system. The subject will obviously attempt to regain his ship, so security around the facility has been doubled.

I was thinking of having Harrier's adventure start with him breaking out of the prison, stealing back his equipment, and getting away by stealing his ship back

He was found by our enemies, the Talgen Republic, who both repaired him with their and hired him.

For the 'enemies' part, did you mean to the whole Terran empire, or just this particular star system?

Also, we don't use a specific timeline regarding Terra, since we're keeping it deliberately ambiguous. You're free to use your own calendar/timeline for your race or faction, though.

The Talgen Republic is an ally to Terra, but an enemy to the Kriken Empire, who Harrier was incarcerated by. It's populated by a vicious insectoid race, quite prone to bullying, piracy, and cannibalism. They call themselves an empire, but said empire consists solely of their homeworld and its moons.

(I intentionally made the character application look like a prison file, Notice the heading at the top of the application. I did it mostly for Rule of Cool, but also to establish where he is at the beginning of his story)

  • Name: Athena
  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Sair
  • Homeworld: Vothmar, home of the Sair
  • Physical Traits/Appearance: She has long blonde hair, and stands at about 6 feet.
  • Biology: The Sair look mostly human, except with one key difference. When they take enough trauma to “kill” them, as a defense mechanism their bodies begin exuding radiation, and then, begin randomizing their DNA, to create an entirely new person, with the same personalities and memories. This requires another person of a species with a similar chromosomal pattern to be in the room. Because of the fact that this often changes the Sair’s physical sex, they tend to identify as genderfluid, rather than a single gender. Those who identify as one gender are rare, and those who identify with a different gender than the one they were born with are rarer still. They can also only do this “reformation” around 15 times, before they die permanently. Also, their reformations are suppressed before age 18, so they don’t end up trying to reform so they look different.
  • Occupation: She was a writer, before her exile to the rest of the galaxy.
  • Equipment/Tools: She has a small folding computer, an old-fashioned one with a real keyboard, instead of a touchscreen.
  • Powers/Abilities: She has the ability to create things out of thin air. However, there are restrictions. She may only create what she puts into writing, and it is only created once there is a physical copy of the writing. Also, there cannot be more than a few moving parts, so no computers or living things. She also has training in Taekwondo, which a human who lived on Vothram taught to her. She is a red belt, as she continued her training further with other teachers after she was exiled.
  • Background: Athena grew up with a fixed idea of gender in place of the normal, fluid idea. She wanted to just be seen as a girl, not sometimes a guy and sometimes a girl. And the fact that she was physically male didn’t help either. When in the morning her parents would ask what gender she felt today, she’d always say female, and they’d always shake their heads in disappointment. Her friends would often say “You were female yesterday!”, which would irritate her. She could understand that her friends’ identities weren’t fixed, but hers was, damnit! Since there was no system for Sairs to change their gender, at age 15, Athena demanded she be given reformation rights. They refused, and so she, with help from some of her supportive friends, broke into a medical facility, and tried to help her to inject her with the serum that allowed reformation. Unfortunately, they were caught, and Athena was sentenced to exile from any Sair planet for 50 years.

I will compile all of my characters' sheets and post a combined and updated version sometime soon. Ish.

-Me, 3 months ago

I really need to actually start writing my characters' updated sheets. Speaking of which, there will be various small retcons as well as a few major plot-relevant changes, based on what's been revealed in the RP.

Well, here is a skeleton sheet for Mikhael.

  • Name: Mikhael Andriy Blackwell

  • Age: 67 Terran years/58 Hestian years (chronologically), prime (physically)

  • Gender: Male

  • Race: Promethean Venkrat

  • Physical Traits/Appearance:
    • Human form: 5'8"/172 cm, slightly round face, silver short hair & thick stubble, jet black right eye, greyish-blue left eye with black sclera (usually covered with an eyepatch), moderately muscular build, gray mechanical arms & legs with synthetic skin, often wears a black or white trench coat
    • Base form: light golden-silver scales over limbs and portions of back, chest & stomach (I have yet to decide his skin tone), fully open jaws covered with carapace plates extending from the cheeks, a pair of antlers, greyish-blue eyes with black sclera, mechanical wings (disguisable as a cape)

  • Homeworld: Rowan, Hestia

  • Occupation: Agent, scientist, weather drone operator

  • Equipment:
    • Weapons: pistol, psionic staff/bow hybrid
    • Light exoskeleton suit
    • Nanodrone swarm/utility fog

  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Psionics:
      • Weather manipulation
      • Energy manipulation (electromagnetism, heat/cold, kinetic, sound)

I should have done this a little while ago, but better late than never, no?

The Prime: Bexahn

  • Name: Bexahn (Note: After being Conditioned, Primes usually choose a new name to separate themselves from their Unconditioned lives and selves. Bexahn's former name is unknown.)
  • Age: Unknown, probably several thousand years. Lifespan indefinite due to extensive modifications.
  • Gender: Female
  • Race: Human (Heavily modified, though these modifications are mostly undetectable)
  • Homeworld: Unknown
  • Physical Traits/Appearance: Average height, slight build. Shoulder-length straight dark hair and fair skin. Attractive but unremarkable features help her to blend in with human crowds.
  • Biology: Due to a highly-advanced Longevity Treatment, her natural lifespan is practically indefinite. She is also much more physically capable than her appearance would suggest; her reflexes and coordination are exceptional. Her physical strength is not inhuman, though it is much greater than might be expected for a human of her stature. In a fight, she relies not on her strength but on her ability to strike the right places. More often, though, she navigates confrontations so that an actual fight is unnecessary.
  • Occupation: Prime, a kind of police force with individual autonomy.
  • Equipment/Tools:
    • Her ship, which resembles a large old Terran Su-47 Berkut fighter plane. It has advanced inertial dampeners capable of extremely rapid acceleration and deceleration, atmospheric shielding to prevent concussion effects when traveling through pressurized environments, and fusion thrusters for in-atmo flight. It also carries an extensive array of weaponry, but Bexahn herself typically carries no weapons and very limited equipment, if any. When she boarded the Troperia, she brought nothing except her clothing.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Like all Primes, Bexahn runs the gamut of Hyper-Awareness, Photographic Memory, and borderline Super-Intelligence.
    • Allegedly capable of producing an EMP at will due to one of her many physical modifications. Her own modifications are immune to such an effect.
    • It's not exactly a power, but Bexahn has a modification called the Geas which renders her incapable of taking actions that contradict her morals without a larger moral justification. For instance, she can kill one person to save many, but she cannot commit a murder out of pure personal vengeance, or for personal gain. She got this modification willingly, as Primes are not required to receive it.
    • Again, not exactly a power, but one of her modifications makes it possible for the leader of the Primes, Warden Prime, to instantly kill her at any distance. It's strongly implied that Warden Prime can also observe her actions in realtime, though to what level of detail is unclear. The insta-death modification can be activated using a verbal code spoken within earshot of Bexahn.
  • Background: Aside from her time as a Prime, almost nothing is known, though she implied that at some point before she became a Prime, she had firsthand experience with some form of amoral experimentation on sophonts. Apparently, her son was involved.
  • Personality: Plays her cards very close to the vest, like all Primes. Suppresses most emotional responses, though she can fabricate them to pretend to have virtually any personality she wants. Her true personality is a mystery.
  • Miscellaneous/Notes: Entered the story during her independent investigation of Alexander Station, but has an interest in the Troperia due to Silas's past experience with another Prime, Andris. Her interest in the Troperia appears to be wholly benign, as she has given over what she claims are the codes to her insta-death mod, and claimed that she intends no harm to anyone on the ship.

Hey I'm kinda-almost new here, but I hope this is good enough to be accepted. If this is too much I'd be happy to cut things out.

  • Name: Luna Attaraxia

  • Age: 13

  • Gender: Female

  • Race and Biology: (sorry, I accidentally wrote this and the rest came out with it so) Tz'Yama a long forgotten species of meta-humans born with the innate ability to gather shards of memories from the deceased. They also carry genes that make them a lot more durable and faster than humans, often walking off volleys of bullets with just their skin alone and outrunning common land animals like deer and horses in short, but not too brief, bursts. However their downfall was the discovery hydrogen based planets, the reaction of water soaking into their skin turns off those abilities and they wont return until they are dry again. The Tz'Yama people were never violent nor carried a personal vendetta to claim the universe, they were more of doctors and caretakers of lifeforms like them than conquerors. Their downfall happened when they arrived to Tera thousands of years ago. Due to the hydrogen rich environment, they mixed with the humans, never able gain their abilities to protect themselves or activate their ships to escape the jail they had landed in.

Tz'Yama have not affected the course of history as they reproduced and dwelled among the humans. They laid low and eventually the rich history of thier kind was lost due to this.

Luna herself is unaware of this background, and she fancies herself a human that finds herself lucky in dry situations. Her abilities flick on and off like a switch, and the amount of power she attains from the switch is so small that she barely notices the difference. However her body has evolved through her family living through generations on earth. Due to this, she is the first of the Tz'Yama to eventually break from the limits that has suppressed her bloodline.

  • Homeworld: Magyar. (Don't really have an exact location as I don't really know much of the plot going on in the RP as of yet)

  • Physical Traits/Appearance: A short, rather skinny white girl with black hair. Clothing is probably going to come in when I make my first post, but I hope this is enough.

  • Occupation: As suggested she will start off as a passenger and work from there.

  • Equipment/Tools: When her power fully manifests, she gets two things:

    • Myos Eternal: A sentinel that will not leave her side no matter what the circumstances are. It's rather small (about the size of a baseball) but its quick and contains a self aware A.I. that communicates with her and others. It maintains two orders:

      • Keep Luna safe - It can administer first aid to Luna and all party members, but can only focus on one at a time and it takes a while for severe injuries to be healed.

      • Deliver the Monument Architect - "A power armor that wraps around her body like a nanosuit from Crysis. When activated, the suit takes a portion of her blood and uses it to power up. The suit increases her speed and durability to great lengths. It can't get set on fire or frozen, but exposed sudden and repetitive concussive shocks the suit will take damage. (So bombs, getting hit by a truck, ect.) After a single use of the suit, she will be in severe pain, her whole body numb and weak. It cannot be used again due to two things, she cannot produce enough blood to power the suit and the Myos Eternal will refuse due to its first protocol. (No, it cannot force internal organic processes to speed up. Therefore it cannot force Luna to produce more blood and let her try on the suit again.)
.
  • Powers/Abilities:

    • Heightened durability - Being durable enough to withstand bullet fire, and fast enough to outrun a deer.

    • Synthesia - As a side-effect of her new genes to withstand her prison of water, her eyes are also heightened, but to the point in which she cannot see properly. When she opens her eyes, she can not only see you and me, but she can also see sound. Since she is is just a little girl with no combat experience, this will cause her to rely mostly on her sentinel, team-mates, and her sense of hearing to get around until she is used to seeing everything around her.

To incapacitate a Tz'Yama one would have to administer repeated sources of concussive force to her body. (I.E. Explosions, extremely hard and fast moving objects, ect.) Since her skin is almost impenetrable by physical means, she cannot be "hurt" physically, however things such as explosions and shock-waves screw up the organs inside of her body. She's still an organic being after all. One explosion is enough to cause her to get shell-shock and potentially throw up. Her impenetrability does not cover things such as corrosive liquids, breathable toxins, and powerful diseases as her skin still has pores

  • Background: She is a girl born to a Tz'Yama mother (she doesn't know) and a human father. Being born and raised in a home that valued curiosity over other things, she always had the knack to find herself fixing small gadgets like slingshots and spring loaded guns and firing them at her butler when he wasn't looking. She has a lot of freedom in her home, and since her parents both love and care for her they made sure to give her the best education and meals a spaceship engineer and a cross-species doctor could afford. Given her background, money was never an issue. However when she finally hit 13, she had enough of being alone and being taken care of butlers and maids. She wanted to meet people. That is when she made it to her first spaceport. (Gonna need some help here on this part.)

  • Personality (optional): Carefree, a walking sunshine, very blunt. I could go on, but I'm sure you've seen this type of character before, nothing new.

  • Miscellaneous/Notes (optional): As stated before, she has no combat experience or way of controlling her Synthesia when she gets it. I want her powers to be more of a wound than a power-up. I'm using this is as a creative writing experiment if you guys will allow me.

A few points I'd like to address:

Background/biology: How widely spread is the Tz'Yama race in Terra, and how much did they affect the history and other such aspects? We'd like to keep Terra Like Reality, Unless Noted up to our current era.

Durability: What would it take to significantly injure or incapacitate a Tz'Yama?

Occupation: She could just start off a passenger, and find her place from there. We have a few other children and teenager characters in here.

Otherwise, I think your sheet is good.

Simple answer? A lot. A lot that I don't think is actually that important for a new player to know, well more in the sense they don't NEED to know it. It's not like it is anything galaxy changing or somthing loads of people would nessisarilly know about. Ofcourse knowing is nice.

The game doesn't have a overaching single plotline which is the real purpose behind this. Various player each create their own scenarios and plot threads and character development moments and we just see how things go.

Still I can give the big big events that have occurred thus far.

  • The group either stole or liberated (your choice) a ship from a slaver. Gregory Blackwell-Brandit becoming captain of the vessel.
  • The group set out into space after people joining the ship as eagar new crew members. With pretty much no check of who they were or for skills.
  • A moment of the group believed the ship was being tracked and went and landed on GLX 2000, which in simple is dystonia capitalist megacorp world controlled by a group called Darkwatch. Super bad and one thing led to another till we were fighting our way off world acruding millions or was it billions...? I think the later in fines or 'service bills' for the planet.
  • The group then flew for a while... And a while more... Eventually making a landing at another world Nos Lycarin, a mostly ocean planet with advance tech research to pick up crew and set out on the groups first contracted mission to recover tech from a spacestation that went dark.
    • Before we arrived we did some rescuing of people from spaceships stranded, actually it is a very common method to join the crew...
    • Once there the crew discovered and was forced to confront a small army of huge aggressive alien creatures and a rogue AI-Hybrid that tried to invade the ship. The alien guts took ages to wash out
    • Then we flew back to the same world with what we did recover to get our reward and then have a super long shore leave to gather more crew members /accidentally kidnap someone but that is a different story.
  • Now the group is currently at dark and shady research spacestation known as Alexander on the request of one of our ships crew as a detour from our actual planned destination, a holiday resort world.

I'm not sure with me writing this late if I am forgetting anything huge/ship-wide but that should cover the basics, I think... People bellow feel free to correct me bellow.
All of this ofcourse occurring in the midst of dozens and dozens of other small plots that different players are running and small little events and training montages ect that pretty much... Are not likely super-important to know nor would I be able to explain them all.

No idea if this is any help but hey, maybe.
