It came up in YKTTW that there are too many Country+Medium indexes at the moment (e.g. French Films, Canadian Series, etc.). The two relevant ways to sort works is either by Medium or country of origin (which should list all relevant media originating from it). Media can then be further divided into years of release. However, we've been apprised that Country+Medium sub-indexes are unnecessary because they make the index navigation more convoluted than it has to be.

I'll start with merging some of these pages back, but anyone's free to pitch in.

That doesn't make sense; we already split mediums by country of origin, to the point where we use different namespaces for different cartoons, depending on what country they're from.

The same argument for splitting should occur regardless of country/continent.

I've long thought that Voice Actors should be split by language, similar to Pigeonholed Voice Actor. It would help cut down on the overlap with Names To Know In Anime.

Uhhh....sorry, but what is so bad about a French movie having an index at its page bottom stating that it is, in fact, a French movie? I don't see what's wrong about that at all.
