Using Kickstarters in hopes to get motivation to finish a project that's been creeping along is a great way to severely burn yourself.
I've seen it a few times, sometimes creators outstep their capabilities and bad things happen.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. It's hilarious how serious his voice is during that video. Especially considering some of the more bizarre aspects of the game he talks about in a serious voice.
Yeah, that is a tad amusing.
for the options:
a) is a little disappointing.
b) sounds like it would be very troublesome to accomplish, since any company would have differing ideas compared to the current dev.
c) Also doesn't sound too good, considering a large part of that video basically says that wouldn't be a good idea. I think it could go the way a lot of kickstarters go, with the developer promising more and more bonus goals which bog down the game and cause more harm than good.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobGame just got banned from Twitch.
Why?
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Dev's asking them too.
But seriously, what do you think could be the reason?
Maybe the same reason some of his vids got taken down from YouTube : the underage Panty Shots.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..If the game had just been set in a college instead this could've been avoided.
Nah. If it ends up releasing in full, it could end up getting an AO from the ESRB due to all the heavy issues being tackled and the potential for lewdness and brutal murder, and that would end up in it getting banned from Twitch regardless of setting. However, I think Twitch's main issue with the game as it is now is the ability to walk around in the nude with Censor Steam covering the naughty bits, which isn't something I can really see YandereDev compromising on for some reason.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Best guess, the potential murdering spree taking place inside of a school.
Twitch can't play yanderes. :V
Mileena MadnessIt's Yandere Simulator's two-year anniversary. However, Yandere Dev is sick and tired of people constantly email him so he's making some ground rules of what emails are allowed.
Thought he did that a while ago.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! It is a pretty great image.
I really like the idea of schemes. Something like that is a very important game design feature.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobHaving a way to choose your method of dealing with rivals for Senpai is a good thing. It'd be interesting if you could bypass such an Info-chan mission control interface and 'improvise' these attack methods yourself.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yandere dev does mention in the video you can still use the methods without unlocking the instructions first.
Or did you mean methods that exist, but are unable to be brought? Like secret schemes.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobWell, that could be a thing, where you improvise a known method of rival dispatching to create something unique. Framing them for different kinds of things, perhaps. Maybe you might even be able to remove a teacher AND a student by faking evidence that they are dating, so even if they don't get booted their reputations BOTH take a huge hit and Senpai rejects the girl...?
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yandere-chan being trained by one of the greatest hitmen in all of gaming?
Oh, shit.
Watch SymphogearMore like swapping notes, since their strategies are different by nature of how and where they operate.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yandere-chan have feelings. It's only natural for her to bludgeoning some poor young lady to death with bunny plushie (filled with lead). That's how she rolls.
Agent 47, on the other hand, is a professional. He must have "standards''.
In my version of the game, it's impossible for any character other than Yandere-Chan to stand or sit in place. Anyone else having similar issues?
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Fancy just getting them booted from school?
My idea: Have a way to frame a teacher and student for dating each other and remove both of them from the equation, the teacher gets the boot and the rival's rep is hit hard enough that Senpai will not accept their confession afterwards.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
what exactly speaks against a Kickstarter? He's already done so much work and his game reached quite some popularity. I don't see how he'd be lacking in investors.
