Chapter out. Really excellent usage of teleportation, brutal without being quite Tele-Frag. Also they're gonna mess the dungeon up huh.
Secret SignatureI knew these elves would be awesome.
Poor Kabru has never been in a single page in this series where he isn't in waaaaaay over his head.
Huh, wait, am I a chapter behind?
It's been fun.Argh, I'm so crushed! There was a separate volume of extras that came bundled with the April volume of Harta called Senshi's Illustrated Diary, and I didn't pick that volume up! Aaargh!
It's been fun.A new ad is out... for volume 8 of the manga and not an anime. Oh well.
It's been fun.Sooo, she was unaffected because of two souls?
Yep. And she finds the panther hot.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Dang it, Izutsumi. Well done, though!
It's been fun.I wonder if this means Itsuzumi's human half is ace, or if non-sexual attraction is normal if it's not the target's priority.
What I mean to say is that Laius totally saw a cool monster.
She could be ace, certainly. I'd say the only thing we can say for sure is that she's not interested in women who look like her mom, apparently.
I would guess that Laius saw a succubus mosquito as a Winged Lion, but knowing him he'd find the mosquitoes just as cool, so.

It's been fun.Yeah people have joked that what Laius saw is the succubi untransformed.
I don't think this implies Izutsumi is asexual or anything (although it can be taken that way). She doesn't seem mature enough to think about sexual attraction, so the succubus goes for parental affection instead.
They did say that succubi can appear as parents or other non-sexual sources of affection.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Soooo... His type is "Marcille, but as secret monster"?
That checks out.
They do say siblings have similar tastes, after all.
It's been fun.I like how it appeared to just be furry-bait Marcille, but no, it's actually Scylla.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I assume we'll never learn what Senshi saw, so I guess we can declare Laius the holder of the Most Ridiculous Succubus Fantasy trophy. Marcille is a shoo-in for second place, but Giga Double Head Flame-Ice Friends (and Izutsumi) takes the cake.

It's been fun.The newest chapter is out, and drops a doozy of worldbuilding on us. It seems like the two plot threads will be joining together soon.
It's been fun.I was always kind of unsure on what to feel about that Lion and now I REALLY don't trust him. Sure Thistle isn't particularly the peak of sanity but at least he confines his shenanigans to the dungeon, it's pretty interesting that apparently despite his complex desires he's somehow so difficult that the Lion has to rope a 3rd party in.
That said, once Kanbru talks to him and they confirm if the Lion really is evil, Lauis would probably have no issues killing it because there's no way he'd be happy with losing his fascination for monsters eventually.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysYeah, I think that's true too. Also, I think Laius is a good enough dude that he wants his dream to come true without relying on whatever illusory power the demon may give him.
It's been fun.RIP AND TEAR, UNTIL IT IS DONE
What?
Secret SignatureThe slow realization as Kabru thought about the implications of Laius being the master of a dungeon was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
I'm always a little leery about this kind of reveal, though. "You know that fun thing that's central to the way this world works? Turns out it's evil, and the protagonists are probably going to have to get rid of it."
Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly fine with dungeons being dangerous. The central theme of the series has been that dungeons are simply weird ecosystems, meaning that while they are extremely dangerous you can learn how to be a part of them and exploit them. "They're all secretly demon traps that end horribly for absolutely everyone with no exceptions" seems to run counter to that.
A sweet, if mostly quiet, chapter this time around. I really liked seeing Marcille get emotional over Farin's early life and their memories together. And while I'm not sure about Laios's plan for the dragon meat part of Monster Farin, it sounds like a fitting plan, at least?
It's been fun.
