Godzilla vs Kong

That sounds like a certain Crew.

All I'm saying is Imma be disappointed if this new orangutan isn't named Lanky.

It would actually be pretty fun if this new and presumably villainous ape had a giant blowgun(perhaps not with giant grapes as ammo, however).

One thing occurs to me: A big thing in the first GvK is how Kong was no match for Godzilla in a direct fight, especially not when Godzilla isn't holding back, and has to scrape by on his intelligence and tool/weapon use. Will they put this new villain on more even footing? Or will he have more of an Orcus on His Throne role and work through henchmen? Because that would be a good way to bring in other kaiju.

Man, I just hope they make the Kaiju fights more visible like they did last movie.

Maybe he's like Wukong and has the ability to create temporary clones, using his hair.

Although that power would be very strange, even by the standards of these movies.

Maybe he has those knockout berries from the original King Kong vs Godzilla.

Or the lightning thing.

Didn't they say they were doing Son of Kong next? I was really looking forward to that.

I love the pageantry of introducing the new guy. Him sitting on a throne, like an evil conqueror, gives him a theatricality which feels special since he's a giant monster.

How were new monsters previously advertised in old Godzilla films?

My fiancee's description of that teaser trailer: "What if King Kong fought uhhhhh an even Kinger Kong?"

I looked up the Skullcrawlers’ blood color situation. The Skull Devil from Kong: Skull Island also had bright green blood. That and the fact that Number 10 from Godzilla vs. Kong was about the same size as the Skull Devil makes me speculate that the small Skullcrawlers have pink blood while the large ones was have bright green blood. If what I speculate is true then the Monster Verse DOESN’T have a Series Continuity Error in regards to the Skullcrawlers’ blood color.

Has anyone actually stated there was a continuity issue with the blood color? Where was this a discussion?
