I mean, that IS why they are the badguys of the arc That and trauma plus forbidden magic apparently making them psychotic
Latest chapter:
So now it's time for the one on one fights, and the Royals are all conveniently on their own. This is especially shitty for Noelle, who is going to take a lot of shit not only for being Royal, but for merely being human, when she's gotten nothing but grief.
One Strip! One Strip! At least she gets the best attribute matchup. Fuegoleon will finally get a real fight against an apparently defensive user. I'm hoping for a callback to his last successful fight against a guy firing through his shield; Fuegoleon aimed precisely at those spots.
The Lira fight is going to be absurdly hard to animate.
Finally posted DB Scarlet Mirror: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13689952930A49781400&page=97#2423So I watched some clips of the anime for the first time (I know this is the manga thread, but I here I am anyway).
Asta surprisingly enough has deeper voice than I was expecting. I assumed he'd be given the stereotypical female voice actor pretending to be a male voice, so him having a male voice actor caught me off guard.
One Strip! One Strip!Dub? because he never had that voice in Japanese and they do it precisely because its what they do in Japan most of the time.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.No. This is japanese.
His voice definitely sounds male, which as I said caught me off guard.
One Strip! One Strip! He was indeed always male. A newbie too.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. And Mereoleona Vermillion will be voiced by none other than Junko Minagawa.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I actually enjoyed that quite a bit.
Admitably I feel like it went a bit too fast but I donβt mind ending these fights quickly. Helps that the Vermillion family are a likable bunch.
Though ha Despair Bear went out like a little punk-ass bitch. And here I thought he was supposed to be stronger now that he wasnβt mind-numbingly insane anymore.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He did not go down easily, and Meroleona was able to easily overpower Rhya. She is one of the strongest characters we have seen.
The thing is he once was an arc boss with an intense multi-chapter battle where multiple characters kept rushing him.
Here he technically didnβt even get a full-chapter since half of it was dedicated to another battle.
So letβs split hairs & say he was pretty much just an afterthought to the Vermillions.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Always a joy to read my weekly chap of "Why Is Mereo Not the Main Character Again?"
Yeah, this week was great. Mereo and Fuegoleon's relation is really well done and them praising one another was surprisingly sweet. Plus, great action.
And why is Mereo such a fucking gift to this series?
Who says Vetto is defeated? Raia had similar chapter conclusions.
Chapter's out.
So...they can regenerate even if their upper torsos are blown away huh?
One Strip! One Strip!Humans cheat so they need some kind of benefits.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Lots of unnecessary Clothing Damage for the girls this week.
The first one is kinda okayish as far as the type of damage goes
second one is bad though
Secret Signature@Rob only Fana can do that.
Chapter's out.
Never expected Charmy's chibiness to actual have a serious cause.
That's kind of my point. That's why I used the word "genocide" — they want to kill all humans, not just nobility.
It'd be easy to root for them if they were only attacking the nobility. But while they do seem to hold a greater grudge against the nobles and royals, they don't discriminate — all humans are targets to them.

Disgusted, but not surprised
