Yeah, similar situation, but he's still basically your typical isekai protagonist. The whole "demon lord" thing is just what his game character was. He doesn't act like a bad guy at all.
And that's a complete breakage from the target of the deconstruction. Villain Protagonist derails the train, he has completely different interactions with the world around him.
For a deconstruction to be meaningful, the main actor of the story should still fit the mold, the analysis is on the responses of the world to him. If he is a typical isekai goody two shoes, then the world of strife he is put in doesn't meekly start going along with everything he does. Even if he is overpowered, those around him aren't, and he needs to protect them because they don't have plot armor either. So on.
Not "lets make him completely different from an isekai protagonist." And hell, the world itself isn't very isekai either, they have RPG-like stats and stuff.

Pretty sure he does fit the mold. Loser protagonist who is some sort of otaku gets sent to a fantasy world with ridiculous OP powers fits the mold quite nicely, I'd say. The deconstruction starts where he decides "I'm gonna be an evil asshole" rather than "I'm gonna be a hero". And RPG stats? These days isekai and game mechanics world go hand in hand.

Eh I wouldn't read it. It hardly sounds deconsructive and those kinds of Isekai already exist, they just aren't popular.
Too tryhard and edgy.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Thing about deconstructions is........
They can be very depressing & just plain old dark.
It’s not exactly a very fun read.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."We already have Re: Zero as a deconstruction of isekai stories. And it does that by having the protagonist think he will be an OP isekai protagonist when he's not. He's a Dark Souls protagonist.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd it has What If? short stories where Subaru just snaps and goes crazy.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Enri OP plz nerf.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!...So that goblin strategist was definitely Zhuge Liang, right?
Also jesus christ, the comeback was real. It seems Ainz has a specialty for using (or accidentally using) weak mobs to show the force of the Tomb of Nazarick.
Definitely accidental. He had no idea the horn could do that. It's mentioned in the LN that the horn's true power in the original YGGDRASSIL game was unknown among the playerbase. Hence why it was treated as a trash vendor item.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWow, what an incompetent player base. Unless the company literally did not program any sort of purpose for the horn into the game, it would have been datamined or just plain experimented to death until everyone knew all its secrets within weeks.
I know that's true for most games, but is it for MMORPGs?

Just look at World of Warcraft as a pertinent example of this. Huge player base, been around for years, lots of content and updates that add more content. Everything that can be datamined out of the patch files gets datamined. Everything that can't, well there are people who just find entertainment in sussing out this kind of information, and will do so given enough time. Any game with a large enough player base that has been out for more than a couple years will give up the ghost on all its secrets.
Heck, it's more prevalent for MMO, because there you have by design a large number of players who interact with each other in-game fairly regularly, and especially if there's PVP, there's a vested interest in finding things out in order to try to get an advantage.

YGGDRASIL explicitly had players hoarding information and leaking misinformation.
That might explain why YGGDRASIL was getting shut down.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaYeah and to add Yggdrasil was VR MMO, with tons of varience and harsh rules. It's possible that the tech in the future it takes place in was good enough that you could not easily datamine stuff.
Ainz's English voice actor is so good. I've been waiting for this most recent episode for weeks to hear his take on it, and it did not disappoint for one second.
Yeah I've liked him since he first hearing him do acting on youtube.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.YGGDRASIL was just old. Like over ten years old. It just got replaced by newer and better games. It was the WOW of its day.
Insert some joke about SAO here.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! What's the horn's deal? Higher level user = exponentially more mobs?
If the summoner fulfills several still unrevealed conditions, the Horn summons an army of elite goblins. We don't know what those conditions are, but Enri somehow fulfilled them by the time she used the second Horn.
It probably does involve having levels in "leader" type jobs, which Enri does have thanks to leading the Goblin Troop. But if it was just a matter of higher level players being able to summon an army with it, this would have been discovered long ago.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI've seen speculation that in addition to the leadership levels there may be some sort of reputation or faction system involved since Enri had managed to befriend the initial summons and gain control of additional goblin groups from the tribes in the forest.
Other speculation revolves around the original troop being in play for an extended period and completely intact.
The troop are also attached to her beyond her being their summoner as well.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
Basically. After all isn't there another isekai this anime season about a guy who's the demon king?
Plus suddenly being overpowered doesn't make you a cool person. After-all Momonga is still pretty pathetic when you consider that for a leader he's still lead by the desires of his underlings.
