I noticed that this movie is very popular. I remember wanting to see it when I was younger, but my mom forbade me to.

Flash forward to 8 years and I saw the movie and it was hilarious. It's one of my all time favorite movies.

I don't remember anything about this movie, other than Lindsy Lohan obsessed over some dude and it ended up being the basis for Amber O'Neil, Krissy Vaine and GeeStar's gimmicks.

I guess I remember it being better than that movie where she had a twin too.

Stop trying to make "fetch" happen. It's not going to happen.

It's funny, I was 14 when this movie came out and it's definitely a case of Popularity Polynomial. Back then, it kind of got overshadowed by Anchorman and Napoleon Dynamite.

I don't remember anything about those movies either, other than an anchor woman trying to steal his spotlight and "vote for Pedro".

I loved the whole moral about the whole Cycle of Revenge, because it's realistic.

Could a theoretical contemporary remake work? I know the Mean Girls musical is a Setting Update set in the late 2010s, so there is a chance eventually. Homophobia isn't completely blotched out, especially amongst high schoolers, but I feel the work only fits the social climate of the early-to-mid 2000s. At most, I'd be fine with a Myspace-era/2006-2007 Setting Update.
