"I'll take action soon enough if these little sluts aren't deal with in time."

Bottompaged.

"Tch!"

He gets assaulted by shadows, caught off guard.

"I must be getting rusty. Need to see Shadow..."

He pulls back his left arm.

"Fire Storm!"

He punches his palm into the fist curled around his sword, as a typhoon of fire envelops him, trying to incinerate the shadows.

Flint lands on the roof, but he gets hit by the force field in the roof. Some of his life force gets drained.

Thoughts: "Damn it! The bullets didn't distract him! And with that field on I can't get close to him! I need to get a chance to get close and try steal the staff!"

Then Sasuke attacks with the Susanoo and Flint decides to jump to a different building in order to avoid being hit.

@Phoenix I'm going to make a rap about Vezon and Phoenix is going to sing it once I'm finished with Inspect Element. Thought you should know.

"Always." He finally responds to Tris saying he's there for him. He cringes as he sees Tris get drained, and also works on battering against the force field. He finally puts the phone away, worried sick for Chris. He lifts Tris as the Susanoo hits and carries him to a nearby building.

Dunclone materializes beside BE!Duncan and BE!Mike, observing the advancing shadows. His arms transform into blades and he takes a defensive pose, "Glad to see the two of you working together again..."

YOLO appears on top of a building near the others looking excited "This is so wicked I summon Catnipped Kitty in Defense mode." A a purple kitty appears near the others hiding in its hands.

BE!Duncan glances back at Dunclone briefly. "...We'll see." He goes energy mode right off the bat. As he's still on the ground, he's not affected by the force field.

He fires a sweeping beam at the shadows in front of him, obliterating them. He then fires a blast of both superheated and supercooled thermal energy at Vezon.

Chris is somewhere on the ground, having frozen a group of shadows surrounding him, looking at his phone. "Hmph...you need me, huh? That wasn't the case yesterday..."

The force field is dispelled, and Vezon, despite not being able to die, decides to play along with the still ongoing attacks. Vezon jumps off the roof and opens a portal in front of him, diving in it. It closes and reappears on another, closeby tall building, where he pops out again.

   "Some people never learn."   , he grins. He glances up.

   "Only a few more minutes and the mask is back at 100%. Then I'll stop playing around and have every single shadow in this realm come to life to tear them all apart."   

Vezon, not really in a need to hide, then fires multiple smaller energy beams at everyone not on the ground. (That includes YOLO and his monster, Vezon doesn't play by the rules of Duel Monsters)

Though the shadows are obliterated by all the attacks, they just keep coming back again, and again, and again, with no end in sight, and the numbers growing more and more, and they keep attacking everyone on the ground.

It's starting to look like Vezon really is unstoppable.

He'd stare for a few seconds and then continue to act as usual.

She keeps fighting, becoming more careful by dodging hits and slaying as many shadows as she can. She isn't even tired yet !

is there an end in sight or something

She focus, take the Long Scythe and the Magic Scythe... and go at it, slashing, slicing and attempting to destroy as many shadows as she can.

Phoenix fends off more attacks with his sword.

"I'll stop him...I have to."

Phoenix quickly flies into the air.

"I won't let you get away Vezon!"

The air around Phoenix electrifies.

"Oh blackness without beginning or end..."

The kitty gets destroyed but Yolo manages to dodge it barely but he yells out Vezon "Hey I had a monster on the field you can't attack me when I have one on the field. Fine I summon Elemental Hero Knopse in attack mode, now attack Flower Punch." a walking flower appears and tries to punch Vezon right in his dumb face.

*Vezon might notice that there's something really wrong with one of the shadows.*

Sorry, what I had to do took longer than expected, but now I'm back.

After narrowly managing to avoid any attacks that may have come his way, Thor flies right at Vezon, then attempts to bring Mjlonir down hard on the Piraka's head.

Loki's still fighting the shadows on the ground alongside Dead Master, parrying their blows as best he can while stabbing at them with his scepter, even though a few shadows manage to knock him back.

"This is beginning to get rather tedious..."

Tristan is able to avoid the beams thanks to his speed buff and Zach, and gets closer to Vezon, until there's just a few steps between them. "Your mask, huh? Fulminating Darkness!" He fires a powerful, explosive beam of dark magic at Vezon's face. He's muttering something- looks like another spell.

BE!Mike doesn't respond to Dunclone, though he offhandedly blasts at some shadows with lightning.

Alt!Mike alternates between using streams of lava and air blasts to deal with the shadows, while Kenneth employs More Dakka and fire streams. "They just keep coming, don't they..."

Flint manages to roll out of the way of the lasers that headed towards him. He get back up and looks down at the ground from the roof, seeing the amount of shadows.

"Crap, I need to hurry the hell up. Jump!" He says and his feet glow green again. He jumps off the building to a different one and repeats doing it, heading towards the one where Vezon is.

Zach texts Chris briefly, 'We need u... pls help... Tris in suicide mission mode... <3 u...'

He then fires off a massive and continuous surge of lightning toward Vezon, "Sure... maybe you can't die... but you can still feel pain, you son of a bitch.."

Dunclone nods, before enmeshing the nearby area with a cloak of intense heat and light, trying to drive away and keep away the shadows.

Someone watches the fighting from afar.

Once again, all shadows who get harmed fall back into the shadows, only to instantly come back.

About 90% of all ground in Gotham is currently overrun with the shadows. The rooftops are still safe, but who knows for how long? Still, it's best to retreat to those right now to get some time to breathe.

Vezon grins, slashing at the plant with his spear.

   "I have shadows on the field. You can't attack me either."   , he says with a trollish grin.    "But you just did. So it's fair game, isn't it!?"   

The Mask glows again as it senses Thor's Hammer about to shatter Vezon to pieces, protecting Vezon completely from the attack, to Thor's probably shock. He didn't even flinch. It's like nothing hit him at all.

After that, the mask protects him from the other attacks. Vezon just smirks.

   "Honestly, you guys need a dictionary. 'Immortality' means I can't be harmed or die."   

He then tries to grab Thor's arm. If he succeeds, he'll start to drain his life away.

Vezon isn't paying attention to his shadows, considering they'll just keep spreading even if he's not looking at them.
